Obama Bans Islam, Jihad From National Security Strategy Document
"The struggle against militant Islamic radicalism is the great ideological conflict of the early years of the 21st century."
WTF ? The Great ideological conflict of the early years of the 21st century !
Are you Kidding me , Like this ideological conflict is not a problem of the present?
So the fight against Islamic Extremism is now no more Because Obama Says so .
Were Doomed , Just Plain Doomed !
Foxnews
WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama's advisers will remove religious terms such as "Islamic extremism" from the central document outlining the U.S. national security strategy and will use the rewritten document to emphasize that the United States does not view Muslim nations through the lens of terror, counterterrorism officials said.
The change is a significant shift in the National Security Strategy, a document that previously outlined the Bush Doctrine of preventative war and currently states: "The struggle against militant Islamic radicalism is the great ideological conflict of the early years of the 21st century."
The officials described the changes on condition of anonymity because the document still was being written, and the White House would not discuss it. But rewriting the strategy document will be the latest example of Obama putting his stamp on U.S. foreign policy, like his promises to dismantle nuclear weapons and limit the situations in which they can be used.
The revisions are part of a larger effort about which the White House talks openly, one that seeks to change not just how the United States talks to Muslim nations, but also what it talks to them about, from health care and science to business startups and education.

Iran's president attacks Obama on nuclear "threat"
"Obama made these latest remarks because he is inexperienced and an amateur politician," Ahmadinejad said on Iranian television. "American politicians are like cowboys. Whenever they have legal shortcomings, their hands go to their guns."
Inexperienced And An Amateur , Maybe so , but he is better than you !
And it is better to have some legal Shortcomings , than to just have some uh Shortcomings !
(Reuters) - Iran's president issued a scathing personal attack on U.S. President Barack Obama on Wednesday, calling him an "inexperienced amateur" who was quick to threaten to use nuclear weapons against U.S. enemies.
Commenting on new U.S. policy restrictions on the use of atomic weapons which sent a stern message to nuclear-defiant Iran that it remained a potential target, hard-line Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told Obama that Iran would not yield to threats.
"Obama made these latest remarks because he is inexperienced and an amateur politician," Ahmadinejad said on Iranian television. "American politicians are like cowboys. Whenever they have legal shortcomings, their hands go to their guns."
Obama made a diplomatic overture to Tehran soon after taking office in 2009, urging it to "unclench its fist."
But since then a confrontation has intensified over Iran's nuclear activities which the West suspects are aimed at developing an atomic bomb and Tehran says are for civilian use.
Obama is urging U.N. Security Council members to back new sanctions against Iran.
His changes to U.S. weapons policy were announced before a nuclear summit in Washington next week. He renounced the development of new atomic weapons and ruled out the use of nuclear arms against non-nuclear armed states.
But this came with a condition. Countries would be spared a U.S. nuclear response only if they are in compliance with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Iran and North Korea would thus not be protected and be potential targets.

American-Born Cleric Added to Capture-or-Kill List, Called 'Terrorist No. 1'
Very nice to see a member of the left call a Terrorist a Terrorist !
Now just get behind the Military !
Foxnews
The radical Muslim cleric tied to suspects in both the Fort Hood shooting and failed Christmas Day bombing has become a key terror target, with a top member of Congress calling him "terrorist number one" and officials confirming he's been added to a list that would allow U.S. operatives to capture or kill him.
Rep. Jane Harman, D-Calif., called Anwar al-Awlaki, a U.S. citizen believed to be in Yemen, "terrorist number one" at an intelligence conference Tuesday.
"He is very much in the sights of the Yemenis, with us helping them," said Harman, chairwoman of the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Intelligence.
A U.S. government official told Fox News that al-Awlaki, wanted for his role with Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, was added to the capture-or-kill target list back in January.
Reuters also reported Tuesday that the administration had added him to the list. "Awlaki is a proven threat," a U.S. official told the news service.
The cleric has been at the top of the U.S. intelligence radar screen for months.
"He ends up being a person that is not only an adviser to the Fort Hood shooter, was in the plot to have the Nigerian Christmas bomber blow up the plane over Detroit, but has literally in the past several weeks, and this has been in the press, called for attacks against the United States," Harman said Tuesday.

50 dead as Baghdad bombings stoke fears of warfare
Muslim Killing Muslim .
Iraq Slipping back towards Madness ?
You Can't Fix Stupid .
The Associated Press
BAGHDAD — Bombs ripped through apartment buildings and a market in mostly Shiite areas of Baghdad on Tuesday, killing 50 people in postelection bloodshed that threatens to rekindle sectarian warfare that nearly destroyed the country three years ago.
The attacks appeared to be an attempt by al-Qaida in Iraq or other extremists to exploit a power vacuum during what promises to be lengthy negotiations to form a new government. About 120 people have been killed in and around the capital over the past five days — some of the most brutal strikes on civilians in months.
For two terrifying hours on a warm, sunny Tuesday morning, at least seven bombs rocked a broad swath of Baghdad. In a new tactic, several bombs were planted inside empty apartments after renters offered high prices for the properties, the government said.
The explosions reduced one building to rubble, knocked out windows and doors and ripped off facades. People rushed to the blast sites, digging through the rubble with their hands to find loved ones.
"Cars began to collide with one another in the street," said Ali Hussein, a 22-year-old college student who was riding the bus to school when one of the bombs went off. "We saw a cloud of fire and black smoke."
With militants singling out entire families of both Muslim sects for slaughter, the recent violence is reminiscent of the far more widespread fighting that tore Iraq apart from 2005 to 2007 and prompted the United States to send tens of thousands more troops to this country.

IAEA inspects Syria reactor in uranium traces probe
The IAEA is far behind in the game of connect the Dots .
There is a reason why Syria will not let the IAEA inspectors search the Alleged Nuclear Sites !
IT IS BECAUSE THEY ARE TRYING TO HIDE SOMETHING !
(Reuters) - U.N. inspectors have been able to revisit a Damascus nuclear research reactor as part of a probe into possible covert atomic activity in Syria, diplomats said on Tuesday.
But Syria continues to deny inspectors follow-up access to a desert site where Israel bombed a building in 2007 which U.S. intelligence reports said was a nascent, North Korean-designed nuclear reactor geared to yield atomic bomb fuel.
The Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency has been checking whether there could be a link between the Damascus reactor and the bombed Dair Alzour site after discovering unexplained particles of processed uranium at both.
Syria turned down a planned IAEA inspection of the Damascus reactor in February, saying it was too busy with preparations for an IAEA Board of Governors meeting. But inspectors have now been allowed to examine the site.
"They visited Damascus only," a diplomat close to the IAEA said. The nuclear watchdog's next report on Syria is due toward the end of May.
Syria, an ally of Iran which is under investigation over nuclear proliferation suspicions, has denied ever having an atom bomb programme.
But in his February report on Syria, new IAEA chief Yukiya Amano gave independent support to Western suspicions for the first time by saying the uranium traces found in a 2008 visit by inspectors pointed to nuclear-related activity on the ground.
Syria's envoy to the IAEA has suggested Israel dropped uranium particles on to its soil to make it look as if a covert nuclear weapons plant was being built, an explanation which has been treated with skepticism by Western diplomats.
The IAEA wants to re-examine the desert site so it can take samples from rubble removed immediately after the air strike.
A point of serious Stupidity here ,
If the samples they would like to inspect were removed immediately After the Israeli airstrike how are they going to Examine them ?
Would they not need to go to where they were removed to ?
Do they think Syria will just hand them over for inspection ?
The agency has also been seeking access to three other Syrian sites under military control whose look was altered by landscaping after inspectors asked for access.
Look a shrubbery here a Nice Hosta over there throw in a few flowering plants in between and surprise , No nuke Site here !
Israel is widely believed to be the only Middle East state to possess nuclear weapons, although it maintains public ambiguity about its capability.

Border Fence Under Renewed Fire After Rancher Killing
A simple solution , Build the Fence anyway !
Then patrol it with more humans , but at least hire ones who are not afraid to use their guns when needed .
And maybe a new Border Patrol Policy to go along with everything here ...When you are assaulted with bullets or rocks be sure to shoot who is doing the assaulting no matter where they stand !
Foxnews
The killing of Arizona rancher Robert Krentz allegedly by an illegal immigrant has some critics pointing out that hundreds of miles of U.S.-Mexico border fencing isn't even high enough to stop a person on foot.
Of the 646 miles of barriers currently constructed along the 2,000-mile southern border of the United States, 300 miles are vehicle barriers, according to the Department of Homeland Security. That means they're meant to keep out cars and trucks, but aren't high enough to keep out people crossing the border illegally on foot.
Fencing in place just south of the Krentz family ranch in southeastern Arizona is exactly that kind of vehicle barrier, plus there's a sizable gap in the fence nearby.
Residents and officials say the security barrier is simply ineffective, and that the killing last month is shining a light on the problem.
Rancher Wendy Glenn, Krentz's longtime friend and neighbor who heard the man's last radio transmission to his brother, said she has roughly 4 miles of border fence along Malpai Ranch. The "wildlife-friendly" barrier -- one that allows large animals and determined people to pass through freely -- ranges from large Normandy-style "X" crosses to standard posts and rails, topping off at no more than six feet high, she said.
"It doesn't keep any people out," Glenn told FoxNews.com on Monday. "We don't want any more fence here. We want more people on the border. No matter what they put in, they're going to tunnel under, cut through, or use ladders. We don't need that."
Glenn characterized the border fence as a "big waste of money" and called for increased federal presence along the remote areas, as well increased communication among law enforcement agencies.

South Korea destroyer reaches tanker seized by pirates
Not much South Korea can do but Shadow The Pirates .
(Reuters) - A South Korean navy destroyer has caught up with a supertanker hijacked by pirates that is cruising toward the Somali coast with a cargo of crude oil worth as much as $170 million, an official said on Tuesday.
The South Korean-operated, Singapore-owned Samho Dream, which can carry more than 2 million barrels of crude, was seized on Sunday en route from Iraq to the United States, in the latest sign the sea gangs are targeting bigger quarry.
The destroyer, equipped with weapons that can hit targets as far as 32 km (20 miles) away and a Lynx combat helicopter on board, was shadowing the tanker as it headed for East Africa, a South Korean official said.
He declined to comment further on what was being planned by the naval unit, which was deployed last year to protect commercial vessels in the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean.
The tanker's crew of five South Koreans and 19 Filipinos was taken hostage when it was seized in the Indian Ocean, about 1,560 km (970 miles) east of the Somali coast.
The operator Samho Shipping denied reports that it has been in contact with the pirates or started negotiations for the release of the crew and the ship. Attempts to reach the crew have so far been unsuccessful, a Samho official said.
Texas-based refiner Valero Energy Corp said it was the owner of the crude oil cargo, which was bound for the U.S. Gulf Coast.

Gunmen attack U.S. consulate in Pakistan
President Zardari , is giving up his main powers which may ease political tensions in Pakistan but will do nothing to ease tensions with the Taliban .
The Taliban will never be happy with anything or Anybody , Their attacks like the ones at the U.S. consulate and the Political rally where they did nothing but kill and injure their own Muslim people Should tell everyone that !
(Reuters) - Militants using a car bomb and firing weapons attacked the U.S. consulate in the Pakistani city of Peshawar on Monday hours after a suicide bomber killed 38 people elsewhere in the northwest, officials said.
Pakistani Taliban militants claimed responsibility for the attack on the consulate, in which eight people, including three militants, were killed but no one in the mission was hurt.
They vowed more violence.
Islamist attacks have raised fears for the future of the nuclear-armed U.S. ally, also beset by economic problems and chronic political wrangling.
But in a move that should ease political infighting, President Asif Ali Zardari called on parliament to approve quickly reforms that will see him give up his main powers.
The assault on the tightly guarded consulate was launched hours after the bomb blast at a rally of supporters of an ethnic Pashtun-based political party staunchly opposed to the militants.
The attacks underscored the danger posed by militants after a year of military offensives which have dealt the Islamists significant setbacks.
"I saw attackers in two vehicles. Some of them carried rocket-propelled grenades. They first opened fire at security personnel at the post near the consulate and then blasts went off," Peshawar resident Siraj Afridi told Reuters.

Malware capital of the world is Shaoxing, China
China is the source for 30% of all Malware !
Another reason why Diplomatic ties with china should be altered to address the Current and escalating situation of Chinese Cyber Terrorism .
American Companies and our Government are under attack on a daily basis ,
So why is Obama always Lubing up when it comes time to Chat With China ?
ZDnet
Computer security firm Symantec announced on Monday that Shaoxing, China was malware capital of the world last month.
That’s just one of the takeaways in the company’s March 2010 MessageLabs Intelligence Report, an analysis of the origins of targeted attacks and malicious emails used to gain access to sensitive corporate data.
According to the company’s research, nearly 30 percent of targeted malware attacks came from China — with 21.3 percent from Shaoxing alone. Runner-up to the crown was Taipei, at 16.5 percent, with London taking the bronze at 14.8 percent.
On a national scale, China trumped all, followed by Romania, with 21.1 percent of attempted attacks, and the United States, with 13.8 percent.
Fossil Find May Be 'Missing Link' in Human Evolution
No matter what it is , To find a complete skeleton over 2 million years old is Amazing !
FoxNews
A fossil skeleton of a child discovered in a cave system known as the Cradle of Humankind may represent a previously unknown stage in the evolution of man, The (London) Sunday Times reported.
The skeleton, which is almost complete despite being two million years old, is believed to belong to one of the hominid groups that includes humans.
Hominid fossil finds are usually little more than small bone fragments. Scientists hope such a complete find will help them to work out what our ancestors looked like and to determine key dates in their evolution from ape-man to man-ape. Experts who have seen the skeleton says it resembles Homo habilis, the first species of advanced human.
The skeleton was found by Professor Lee Berger, reader in human evolution and the public understanding of science at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, as he explored cave systems in Sterkfontein, a Unesco world heritage site.
The caves are the site of one of the world’s longest-running archeological excavations and are regarded as paleontological treasure troves. Jacob Zuma, the South African president, visited the university to view the find, which is to be announced this week.
The new fossil skeleton was found with a number of other partially complete fossils, encased within breccia sedimentary rock inside a limestone cave known as Malapa cave.

Pakistan's Army accused of extra-judicial killings
The Lahore-based Human Rights Commission of Pakistan provided a list of 249 suspected extra-judicial killings from July 30, 2009, to March 22, 2010, saying most of the bodies were found in Swat. It said independent journalists and locals widely believed security forces were behind them.
Widely Believed Without any proof .
And these were suspected Taliban Sympathizers , People that probably were not to nice in the first place , that is why they supported the Taliban .
And the U.S. is supposed to reprimand Pakistan over this when we are accused of taking out Civilians at every predator drone strike ?
The people that support the Taliban( "Sympathizers" ) are no better than the Taliban themselves ! If they are killed because the are in close proximity to their Male lovers at the time of their demise , it should be considered a two for one special !
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Pakistani army is facing fresh accusations of carrying out extra-judicial killings and torture, claims which could threaten U.S. funding for any units singled out for abuse.
New York-based Human Rights Watch said it had briefed U.S. State Department and congressional officials about mounting evidence of more than 200 summary executions in Swat Valley in the past eight months of suspected Taliban sympathizers.
Pakistan's army denied the group's accusations of abuse in Swat, home to about 1.3 million people and the site of a much-lauded military operation last year to take back the former Taliban stronghold.
"Swat is open to journalists and you can conduct investigative reporting there," Pakistani Army spokesman Major General Athar Abbas told Reuters in Islamabad. "Have you seen any sort of report in Pakistani newspapers?"
The Lahore-based Human Rights Commission of Pakistan provided a list of 249 suspected extra-judicial killings from July 30, 2009, to March 22, 2010, saying most of the bodies were found in Swat. It said independent journalists and locals widely believed security forces were behind them.
Officials in Washington said they were taking the accusations of abuse seriously. The Obama administration has raised the matter with Islamabad, officials said.
"We have shared our concern about these allegations with senior Pakistani officials and will continue to monitor the situation closely," State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley said.
Defense Secretary Robert Gates has also discussed U.S. concerns with Pakistani military and government officials.
"While our strong bilateral relationship with Pakistan and our close partnership in combating terrorism are very important to us, we take allegations of human rights abuses seriously," said Geoff Morrell, Pentagon press secretary.

Pakistan troops repulse attacks, "kill 40 militants"
YES ! 40 more Taliban have been sent to their Destiny of 72 Male Virgin Goats !
And their angry Goats as well !
(Reuters) - Pakistani forces backed by tanks and artillery repulsed Taliban attacks in northwestern Orakzai on Sunday, killing nearly 40 militants, a government official said.
Orakzai, southwest of Peshawar, has become a Taliban hub since security forces mounted offensives against their strongholds in other parts of the ethnic Pashtun northwest over the past year, security officials say.
Pakistan, an important U.S. ally has recently stepped up assaults in Orakzai and the militants have been retaliating.
Sajid Khan, a government official in the region, told Reuters that several dozen militants attacked a security post in a village early on Sunday.
"They used rocket-propelled grenades, mortars and machine guns, but our soldiers' response was quick and tough," said Khan, who is based in Kalaya, the region's main town.
Twenty-five militants were killed and 10 wounded in the clash, he said.
Hours later, militants ambushed a military convoy in a nearby village and at least a dozen militants were killed, Khan said.
He said only one government soldier was wounded in the clashes.
There was no independent confirmation of Khan's casualty tolls but a security official, who declined to be identified, gave similar figures in the clashes.

Guardians of the free Republics looked to Gandhi, King, and Mandela
The Guardians of the free Republic's stated desire was to peacefully and nonviolently 'restore' America to a pre-1933 form of government. But why would 50 governors step down at their request? In the wings, the group insinuated, waited the military.
UH O.K. ?
The U.S. Military is waiting to do what ?
Just another Case of Radicalisation within the United States , and another Organization of people really out of touch with Reality !
We all would like to see the Government torn down and restructured in a way we see fit , But to do it like these guys or the Hutarees really does not further our cause , it only strengthens theirs !
Atlanta
In a recent plea, Sam Kennedy, a "guardian elder" of the Guardians of the free Republics, warned the modern-day "original government" revolutionaries to approach their March 31 "Restore America Plan" with Martin Luther King, Jr., Nelson Mandela, and Mohandas Gandhi in mind.
"We would simply like to urge patriots everywhere to champion their faith instead of force, and allow The Restore America Plan an uneventful 30 to 60 days for visible implementation which will ultimately end the bogus prosecutions and terrorist activities once and for all," wrote Kennedy recently.
The FBI failed to understand the Guardians' peaceful intentions.
A letter by Mr. Kennedy to all 50 governors demanding they step down within three days or be removed contained an implicit threat – and could be a cause, the FBI worried, for incitement for others to take action against the government.
Actively recruiting across the country in the last few months and promoted on a Texas radio station, the Guardians of the free Republics believe the US government is a corporate imposter put in place by corrupt bankers as part of the New Deal in 1933.
Going back to 'original' form of government
In essence, their "plan" seeks a return to de jure, or original, governance, stripping Washington of its ability to tax citizens' income and dismantling agencies such as the FBI. The Anti-Defamation League says "sovereign citizen" groups wage war against authority using "paper terrorism," but rarely resort to violence.
And although the Guardians lay out an interesting legal theory – arcane federal law and how it's interpreted is core to the sovereign citizen movement – the idea that they could quietly, and, as they suggest, without ridicule, work behind the scenes to slide America back nearly a century seems, in retrospect, folly.
So far, a number of Guardians have emerged. Kennedy, a Texas radio-show host, was interviewed for two hours on Friday by the FBI, but not arrested. Another "elder" listed is Tom Schaults, who runs clinics on "attorney repellant technology." And a third is the owner of the Guardians website, Clive Boustred, whom Mother Jones describes as "a British-educated former South African soldier with an apparent knack for 'anti-terrorist warfare.'"
The appearance of Mr. Boustred in the mix may give some clue to the assertion by the Guardians that they had an agreement with "the military" to support their quiet coup.
The Los Angeles Times writes that the "group's philosophy mingles with the anti-Federal Reserve mantra espoused by followers of US Rep. Ron Paul of Texas as well as with anti-tax advocates."

Gunmen storm Sunni enclave in Baghdad, kill 24
Just some insane Muslim killing Muslim antics in a normal day in Iraq !
The bummer is that the people killed were former "Insurgents" (Al Qaida), that have turned on their former gang of Rejects , and help stop some of the violence in Iraq and steer it on it's way to stability !
Not that I am giving them a Pass on what they used to be , They got what they Deserve !
It is just bad for Iraq , They lost some people who were trying to help .
(Reuters) - Gunmen wearing military uniforms stormed a Sunni Muslim village near Baghdad and killed 24 people, some of them former insurgents who turned against al Qaeda, Iraqi authorities said on Saturday.
The attackers may have been pretending to be U.S. soldiers because they wore U.S.-style uniforms, sunglasses, and spoke some English, according to an Iraqi military source at the scene.
The attack occurred on Friday in a Sunni enclave called Albusaifi in the southern part of Baghdad province, a former stronghold of al Qaeda militants. A police source said the gunmen handcuffed the victims and shot them in the head.
At least seven people were left alive, their hands tied behind their backs, Baghdad security spokesman Major General Qassim al-Moussawi said.
"The terrorist group drove cars and killed 24 people, including five women," Moussawi said.
Iraqi authorities had warned of a possible escalation of violence due to rising tensions surrounding a March 7 parliamentary election that produced no clear winner.
Iraqi and U.S. troops sealed off the area. Moussawi said 25 people were arrested and security forces were searching for more.
SONS OF IRAQ
Moussawi said some of the victims were members of the Iraqi security forces and others of the Sahwa movement, or the "Sons of Iraq." The group comprises Sunni former insurgents who joined the Iraqi government and U.S. forces to fight al Qaeda militants and are credited with helping turn the tide of the Iraq war.
"This is al Qaeda's doing," said a Sahwa leader who asked not to be named.
Another Sahwa official in southern Baghdad said the area was once an al Qaeda stronghold freed from "terrorists" by the Sons of Iraq.

Rick Perry among governors receiving threat
Not to be Taken lightly , But this is Hilarious !
El Paso Times
Texas Gov. Rick Perry's office confirmed Friday that it received a threatening letter from an anti-government group calling for the removal of governors from office.
Perry spokeswoman Allison Castle confirmed a letter arrived from Guardians of the free Republics, a group that says it wants to "restore America" by peacefully dismantling parts of government.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating, Castle said. She and the DPS wouldn't release any further details, such as when the letter arrived or what it said.
"We acknowledge that the governor's office did receive one of the letters, and we opened a criminal investigation," DPS spokesman Tom Vinger said. Perry's office was closed Friday for Good Friday, not because of security concerns, Castle said.
This week, dozens of governors across the country received letters saying if they don't leave office within three days they would be removed, according to federal documents obtained by The Associated Press. The FBI is warning local police that the anti-government group's call to remove governors from office could provoke violence, although investigators said they do not see threats of violence in the group's message.
The group on its Web site advertises a "Restore America Plan" that it says "is a bold achievable strategy for behind-the-scenes peaceful reconstruction of ... government without controversy, violence or civil war."
The FBI said it expects all 50 governors to eventually receive the
group's letters.

18 gunmen die in coordinated attack on two army bases in Mexico
Soldiers also seized 54 rifles, 61 hand grenades, rocket-propelled grenades, eight homemade explosive devices and six bulletproofed vehicles used by the attackers.
Mexico's northern states are under siege from the escalating violence involving drug gangs.
And as if our Problems of illegal immigration and border violence are not enough , the Mexican Military are in a major battle with the Cartels .
The Above description is from one day in one small area of Mexico !
El Paso Times
VILLAHERMOSA, Mexico -- Dozens of gunmen mounted rare and apparently coordinated attacks targeting two army garrisons in northern Mexico, touching off firefights that killed 18 attackers.
The attempts to blockade soldiers inside their bases - part of seven near-simultaneous attacks across two northern states - appeared to mark a serious escalation in Mexico's drug war, in which cartel gunmen attacked in unit-size forces armed with bulletproof vehicles, dozens of hand grenades and assault rifles.
While drug gunmen frequently shoot at soldiers on patrol, they seldom target army bases, and even more rarely attack in the force displayed during the confrontations Tuesday in the border states of Tamaulipas and Nuevo Leon - areas that have seen a surge of bloodshed in recent months.
The violence mainly involves a fight between the Gulf cartel and its former allies, the Zetas, a gang of hit men. The cartel - which has apparently formed an alliance with other cartels seeking to exterminate the Zetas - has been warning people in the region with a series of banners and e-mails that the conflict would get worse over the next two to three months.
Gunmen staged seven separate attacks on the army, including three blockades, Gen. Edgar Luis Villegas said Wednesday. He called the attacks "desperate reactions by criminal gangs to the progress being made by federal authorities" against Mexico's drug cartels.

And my theory on why that is ...
More illegal immigrants in the U.S are good for the Democratic Party !
So A flood of Immigrants claiming they want Political Asylum is an easy way of achieving that , You can't turn a political refugee away and once they are here ... you can't send em back !

Residents of a small Mexican border town under siege by at least one of the country's most notorious drug cartels are fleeing into a tiny Texas community, which is on high alert and preparing for a surge of illegal immigrants should a street battle break out with another cartel - or if gunmen begin carrying out a threat to start killing the town's children.
At least 30 residents of El Porvenir, located about four miles from the Texas border town of Fort Hancock, have crossed into the U.S. and asked for political asylum, telling authorities that they fear for their lives. Fort Hancock officials tell FoxNews.com that they consider the situation serious.

Mexican helicopter spotted in Texas airspace
So now do we have to put up with Airspace violations as well as illegal immigration , and the threat of spill over Drug war Violence ?
El Paso Times
BROWNSVILLE, Texas -- A Mexican military helicopter flew into Texas airspace last weekend and that incident is under investigation, the U.S. Department of Defense said.
Several people noticed the chopper Sunday at an RV park near Zapata, about 100 miles northwest of the border city of McAllen, Zapata County Sheriff Sigifredo Gonzalez said.
"It looks to be military," Gonzalez said. "I don't know if it's being used to transport narcotics or people into the country."
U.S. Defense Department Maj. Tanya Bradsher said the flyover was under review.
"The incident did occur and it's still under investigation," she said.
The duty officer in the press relations office at Mexico's Defense Department, reached by telephone Friday, said she had no information on the reports.
Border Patrol spokesman Jason Darling said the Mexican military has been conducting operations nearby.
"Part of those operations encompass the area near Zapata along the Rio Grande. Some include helicopters," Darling said.
Witnesses also reported seeing a Mexican military helicopter over Texas on March 10, near Falcon Dam in Zapata County. The aircraft returned to Mexico without landing.
Six Iraq al Qaeda leaders killed or arrested: U.S.
Dead Al Qaida Guys ! Hell Yeah !
And a few arrested ones , still awesome , hopefully they have been getting squezzed for info about the AQ network and there will be more deaths and maybe some arrests !
BAGHDAD
(Reuters) -U.S. and Iraqi troops have killed or arrested at least six suspected al Qaeda leaders allegedly involved in an extortion and assassination ring in northern Iraq, the U.S. military said.
The suspected militants were killed or arrested in security operations from March 18 to 24 in Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad and an al Qaeda stronghold, it said in a statement late on Thursday.
The suspects were accused of involvement in an extortion and assassination network that helped fund al Qaeda around Mosul. Its targets included oil companies and small businesses, the statement said.
Those killed were identified as the al Qaeda emir of northern Iraq, Khalid Muhammad Hasan Shallub al-Juburi; economic security emir Abu Ahmad al-Afri; and the suspected al Qaeda governor of Mosul, Bashar Khalaf Husyan Ali al-Jaburi.
The military said three top suspected oil-extortion figures were among a dozen people arrested on March 24 in a security sweep.
"Without these individuals in the AQI (al Qaeda in Iraq) network, it is expected that AQI's ability to operate and restructure will be severely hindered," it said.
For a little while yes , but Al Qaida are masters of waiting !
The joint U.S.-Iraqi operations were carried out pursuant to a warrant from an Iraqi judge.

South Korea says torpedo may have sunk navy ship
But they are not saying this is what they believe ,YET !
If it were a torpedo from friendly fire , they obviously would know .
If it were an antique Mine from the 50's , they would also have a pretty good idea about it .
But a torpedo from the Norks ? they just don't know.
(Reuters) - South Korea has not ruled out blaming a torpedo strike for sinking one of its navy ships in waters near a contested sea border with North Korea, Defense Minister Kim Tae-young said on Friday.
Initial speculation that North Korea might have sunk the 1,200 ton corvette Cheonan spooked Wall Street last Friday. Share prices dipped partly on geopolitical concerns of escalating conflict between the rival Koreas, and the won dropped against the dollar.
"We believe there is a likely possibility for the sinking to have been because of a torpedo, but we should look at all possibilities," Kim told a parliamentary committee.
Kim did not say if South Korea thought the torpedo may have been friendly fire or from North Korea, which is still technically at war with the South and has repeatedly threatened to attack ships in the area.
Shortly after the incident, South Korean officials all but ruled out blaming the North.
Kim has previously said the ship may have struck one of the several thousand mines deployed during the 1950-53 Korean War.
The two Koreas have fought two deadly naval battles in the past decade in the disputed Yellow Sea waters off the west coast.

Thirteen Israeli air strikes hit Gaza Strip
I think I would beat the crap out of my neighbors if they continually assaulted my home and my people !
I Guess Hamas just doesn't get that !
BBC
Israeli planes have carried out 13 air strikes on the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, Palestinian sources have told the BBC.
Four of the strikes took place near the town of Khan Younis, where two Israeli soldiers were killed in clashes with Palestinian fighters last week.
The Israeli military has told the BBC the operation was targeting four weapons factories.
The strikes are the most serious for more than a year, says the BBC's Jon Donnison from Jerusalem.
The director of ambulance and emergency in the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Dr Muawiya Hassanein, said that three children including an infant were slightly injured by flying debris.
Witnesses and Hamas officials said the Israeli raids targeted metal workshops, farms, a milk factory and small sites belonging to the military wing of Hamas.
'Retaliation'
"Israel will not tolerate terroristic activity inside Gaza that threatens Israeli citizens," the Israeli military said in a statement released to the BBC.
Palestinian news agencies reported that Israeli aircraft dropped leaflets over parts of Gaza on Thursday warning residents of retaliation for last Friday's killings of the soldiers in Khan Younis.
They were the first Israeli soldiers to be killed in hostile fire in Gaza in over a year. The military wing of Hamas claim responsibility for those attacks.
Hamas said police stations and training facilities were among the targets of Israel's overnight raids.

(Reuters) - Turkish commandos have captured nine pirates aboard a boat in the Gulf of Aden, the Turkish Armed Forces said in a statement on Thursday.
The frigate Gelibolu, serving as part of a NATO anti-piracy mission, intercepted the pirate skiff while monitoring the security corridor for merchant shipping 80 miles from the coast on Wednesday, the statement said.
"Commandos performed maneuvers to intercept the boat and captured nine pirates on board," it added.
The Turkish Armed Forces' website published photos of the pirates at sea in their skiff and later, after their capture, holding their hands above their heads.
Seaborne gangs have increased their attacks in the Indian Ocean and Gulf of Aden in recent months, making tens of millions of dollars in ransoms from seizing ships, including tankers and dry bulkers. Several vessels have been hijacked this week alone.
