Members of a small Missouri town banded together Saturday to block a controversial pastor and members of his Westboro Baptist Church from protesting the funeral of a fallen U.S. soldier, Fox4kc.com reports.
Hundreds of residents in Weston, Mo. -- as well as people as far away as California and Australia -- rallied in support of Sgt. First Class C.J. Sadell, who died from injuries suffered during a surprise attack in Afghanistan.
The residents sought to block Fred Phelps, leader of the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kan., and his followers from picketing Sadell’s funeral, according to the station.
"We got everybody here early so we could take up all the parking spots," Rebecca Rooney of Weston, Mo., told Fox4kc.com. "We did that so Mr. Phelps wouldn't have a contingency that was really close."

4 killed in another U.S. drone attack in NW Pakistan
Rot in Pieces, Scumbags !
ISLAMABAD, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- At least four people were killed in another U.S.drone attack launched Sunday night in Pakistan's northwest tribal area of North Waziristan, reported local media.
According to the report, the U.S. drone fired two missiles at a vehicle in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, which is suspected carrying militants inside.
The latest strike is second of its kind on Sunday. Not long before, the U.S. drone launched a strike at a house in the Miranshah area of North Waziristan, which is located northeast of Datta Khel.
In the first strike, the U.S. drone also fired two missiles at a house suspected to be a hideout of militants, killing at least 12 people.
Shortly following the first strike on Sunday, there came in news saying that Taliban had killed three people suspected to provide guidance for U.S. drone attacks in the area.

Al Qaeda Yemen wing claims parcel plot, UPS crash
This is one case where we should shoot the Messenger !
(Reuters) - Al Qaeda's Yemen-based wing claimed responsibility for a foiled plot to send explosive parcels to the United States last week, and for the crash of a UPS jet in Dubai in September.
A statement that appeared on Islamist websites on Friday, attributed to Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), also vowed more strikes on the United States in comments addressed to President Barack Obama.
"We say to Obama, we have struck your jets three times in one year and we will continue, God willing, to strike the interests of America and its allies."
In Washington an official said the United States could not confirm that AQAP was behind the September 3 crash of the aircraft operated by the U.S. parcel delivery firm UPS.

Mexico kills top drug lord at U.S. border
Awesome,
Dodging grenades and coming under heavy fire from gunmen hidden in houses and shooting from trucks, the marines moved in on Cardenas, one of Mexico's most-wanted traffickers, and killed him on Friday afternoon, the navy said.
Mexico Has a Navy?
(Reuters) - Mexican marines killed drug baron Ezequiel "Tony Tormenta" Cardenas in a ferocious gunfight at the U.S. border on Friday, a fleeting victory for President Felipe Calderon that is unlikely to quell raging violence.
Around 150 marines backed by helicopters and soldiers fought running battles with members of the powerful Gulf cartel for hours in Matamoros, across from Brownsville, Texas, terrifying residents and briefly shutting border bridges.
Dodging grenades and coming under heavy fire from gunmen hidden in houses and shooting from trucks, the marines moved in on Cardenas, one of Mexico's most-wanted traffickers, and killed him on Friday afternoon, the navy said.
"He died in a shootout with us," a navy spokesman said.
Three marines and four gunmen were killed, the navy said. A reporter was killed after being caught in crossfire, local media reported.

U.N. Human Rights Council to Take Aim at New Target: United States
So what do you all think?
The U.S. will most definitely be bashed by Iran and Venezuela.
But what about the rest of the Ying Yang's.
Obama may regret trying to spoon with leaders of the Muslim and Communist countries.
Foxnews
When the United Nations Human Rights Council, a conclave of 47 nations that includes such notorious human rights violators as China, Cuba, Libya and Saudi Arabia, meets in Geneva on Friday, its attentions will be focused on the human rights failings of a country called the United States.
It will hear, among other things, that the U.S. discriminates against Muslims, that its police are barbaric and that it has been holding political prisoners behind bars for years.
Those allegations, and many more, will come from Americans themselves — especially from a stridently critical network of U.S. organizations whose input dominates the U.N. digest of submissions from “civil society” that are part of the council’s background reading.
Will the occasion be a teachable moment, or an anti-American circus?
That question will be hovering center-stage in Geneva, when, for the first time ever, the U.S. comes under the Human Rights Council’s microscope as part of the its centerpiece activity, the “Universal Periodic Review,” a rotating examination of the human rights failings and strong points of every country in the world, from North Korea to Norway, by the council's members.
For two hours, council members will get to say whatever they wish, good and ill, about the country that has done the most in the past 40 years to establish human rights as a global theme.

Muslim Sues Oklahoma Over Anti-Shariah Ballot Measure
Oklahoma residents approved the measure with 70 percent of the vote in Tuesday's election.
70 percent! That is a pretty heavy Majority, isn't that supposed to stand for something?
Not when it comes to Islam and that Terrorist supporting Organization CAIR.
Foxnews
Just two days after Oklahoma voters approved a ballot measure banning state courts from considering Islamic or international law when ruling on cases, a local Muslim has filed a federal lawsuit saying the measure is unconstitutional.
The lawsuit against ballot measure, State Question 755 – or better known as "Save Our State" -- seeks a temporary restraining order to block the results of the election from being certified by the state Election Board on Nov. 9. The measure is scheduled to go into effect on Jan. 1.
Oklahoma residents approved the measure with 70 percent of the vote in Tuesday's election.
But Muneer Awad, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Oklahoma who filed the lawsuit, said that the measure is unnecessary because there is no threat of an Islamic takeover of state courts. Muslims make up only 30,000 of the state's nearly 4 million residents – less than 1 percent.

Bomb in Pakistani Mosque Kills 20
Muslims Killing Muslims in a Mosque ?
What a mess Pakistan is in, I feel they deserve it.
It is that whole Religion of peace, Intolerance of others, watch what you say and do or we will kill you thing.
Foxnews
PESHAWAR, Pakistan -- A suicide bomber, who was possibly targeting an anti-Taliban activist, attacked a mosque in northwest Pakistan during Friday prayers, killing at least 20 people and wounding 30 others, officials said.
The blast was the latest in a series of attacks to hit mosques and Sufi shrines in Pakistan, and underscored the relentless security challenge to a nation where Islamist militancy -- as well as enmity among the various Muslim sects -- have long run rampant.
The explosion occurred in Darra Adam Khel, an area near Pakistan's tribal regions where Taliban-led militants have been active. The bomber hit a Sunni Muslim mosque and the worshippers gathered there on Friday afternoon, the most attended prayer session of the week, authorities said.
"The mosque's roof has caved in. We fear there might be more casualties in the debris," said Saeed Khan, a local government official.

Obama's India trip stirs fears in Pakistan about power balance
Amazing,
Although the Obama administration recently proposed a new $2 billion aid package for the Pakistani army and last year signed off on a $7.5 billion civilian aid deal, government officials here said this week that the United States has yet to prove itself a reliable partner.
So 10 Billion over two years is just not enough for Pakistan !
We give and give and all we get is told we have not proven our commitment?
And on top of this we gave $378 million in flood relief, more than any other country so far.
The Washington Post
ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN - President Obama's decision to spend three days in India beginning Saturday, while bypassing Pakistan, has sparked anxiety among government officials here who warn that Obama risks upsetting the delicate balance of power between the nuclear-armed neighbors.
Among the Pakistanis' chief concerns are the Obama administration's apparent unwillingness to get involved in the long-standing dispute over Kashmir; the blossoming U.S.-India civil nuclear partnership; and the symbolism of Obama starting his visit at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai, site of the 2008 siege that killed 173 people and that has been blamed on Pakistani militants.

U.S. Officials: Military Wants to Boost Aid to Yemen
So what we have is a small country that has been on the verge of being over run by Al Qaida.
The Yemeni Government, kinda sorta tries to keep them in check.
But, it only seems they step it up when they get Money from the U.S..
Last week there was a Terrorist plot that appears to have come out of Yemen.
and Today what is happening?
The U.S. is preparing to deliver 200 million to the Shithole that is Yemen !
Isn't this what has been happening in Pakistan? The Government appeasing the appearance of trying to Stop Terrorism.
Foxnews
WASHINGTON -- The U.S. military wants to significantly increase its equipment and training aid to Yemen in 2011, proposing as much as $250 million to help the struggling country battle Al Qaeda-linked extremists within its borders, according to U.S. officials.
The increase in funding was recommended well before last week's failed mail bombings that U.S. officials believe were linked to the terror group's branch in Yemen, Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.
Military aid to Yemen in 2010 was $155 million, and the 2011 recommendation is expected to be well in excess of $200 million, depending on final negotiations among top administration officials.
Despite the fact that the funding recommendation from senior military leaders was made before the mail bomb plot, the Yemen aid proposal underscores the growing terror threat from Yemen and the need to bolster that country's ability to track and battle militants.

All Christians 'targets,' Iraqi militant group says
Well isn't that nice of them !
Al Qaida, says,
"The Ministry of War of Islamic State of Iraq declares that all the centers, organizations and bodies of Christian leaders and followers have become legitimate targets by the Mujahedeens, wherever our hands will reach them."
But us being civilized people do not say the same about Muslims!
As much as we would like to see every douchebag that thinks along the lines of Al Qaida shot dead where they stand , We don't do it !
Baghdad, Iraq (CNN) -- All Christians in the Middle East are now "legitimate targets," al Qaeda in Iraq announced Wednesday, as the group's deadline for Egypt's Coptic church to release alleged Muslim female prisoners expired.
An audio message released Monday gave the church 48 hours to disclose the status of Muslim women it said are imprisoned in Coptic churches in Egypt.
The message purportedly came from the Islamic State of Iraq, which claimed responsibility for an attack on a Baghdad church Sunday that killed 58 people and wounded 75. The umbrella group includes a number of Sunni extremist organizations and has ties to al Qaeda in Iraq.
The group said the women's alleged plight was the reason it stormed the church.
Wednesday, the group released a new message saying, "The Ministry of War of Islamic State of Iraq declares that all the centers, organizations and bodies of Christian leaders and followers have become legitimate targets by the Mujahedeens, wherever our hands will reach them."

South Korea fires warning shots, second incident in days
North Korea just can not stop with their B.S.
(Reuters) - South Korea's navy fired warning shots to drive away a North Korean fishing boat at a maritime border on Wednesday, the second incident in six days, jangling nerves in Seoul ahead of next week's G20 summit.
The South Korean capital, about 100 km (60 miles) south of the demilitarized zone dividing the peninsula, is on heightened alert ahead of the summit over concerns Pyongyang may try to create an incident to embarrass its rival.
Washington has pressed Beijing to use its influence over the North not to create an incident in the run up to the meeting.
South Korean President Lee Myung-bak told a news conference in Seoul that he was not expecting any trouble from across the border.
"I don't think the North will try to do anything when leaders of the international community are meeting to discuss the world economy," he said. "I trust the North won't do anything but still we are fully prepared."

U.S. joins Yemeni anti-terrorism units to hunt Saudi bomb maker
Maybe something is going on?
Good luck with this though, I think it will be very difficult to do anything in Yemen that will put Al Qaida or any of it's members in harms way !
But you have to start somewhere.
Xinhaunet.com
SANAA, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- A U.S. team of anti-terrorism experts joined Yemeni anti-terrorism units on Tuesday in a mission to hunt down the suspect behind sending two bomb shipments to the United States last week, a Yemeni official of anti-terror units told Xinhua.
The U.S. team arrived late Monday to help Yemeni counter- terrorism forces to capture the suspect of parcel bombs, who is believed to be a Saudi national bomb maker identified as Ibrahim al-Asiri.
"The mission was also designed to capture the U.S.-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who was put on hit list by Washington and was trailed earlier Tuesday in absentia by a Yemeni security court in Sanaa for links to terrorist crimes," the official told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
"The joint mission will be carried out in eastern and southern provinces of Marib and Shabwa, in which U.S. unmanned predators and agents with CIA in the U.S. Embassy in Sanaa will take part," he added.

US weighs options against militant threat in Yemen
amid speculation Washington might opt to step up missile strikes and covert operations.
Then do it !
who the hell is the U.S. protecting?
yes they are trying to protect us, but why does it seem like the will to really stop Al Qaida and the rest of the militant Islamic rejects throughout the world, is really just not there.
Dawn.com
WASHINGTON: US officials on Monday weighed expanding operations in Yemen to hunt down Al-Qaeda militants, who are blamed for a foiled bomb plot that experts said showed a high degree of sophistication.
The plot, disrupted last week after a crucial tip from Saudi Arabia, put the spotlight on US efforts to help Sanaa battle Al-Qaeda's affiliate in Yemen, amid speculation Washington might opt to step up missile strikes and covert operations.
The Central Intelligence Agency and other spy services managed to prevent the attempted attack after acting on the Saudis' information, but officials remained anxious about Al-Qaeda finding fertile ground in Yemen's impoverished, tribal landscape.
“The intelligence community has been increasing its focus on Yemen and, for obvious reasons, this will continue to be the case,” a US official told AFP, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Four Americans Killed in Separate Attacks in Border City
And also on this issue What do we hear ?
The deafening sound of Crickets !
Move along sheeple !
Foxnews
CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico -- Four U.S. citizens were shot to death in separate attacks in the border city of Ciudad Juarez, Mexican authorities said Monday.
Chihuahua state prosecutors' spokesman Arturo Sandoval said Edgar Lopez, 35, of El Paso, Texas, was killed Sunday along with two Mexican men when gunmen opened fire on a group standing outside a house.
On Saturday, a 26-year-old U.S. woman and an American boy were slain shortly after crossing an international bridge from El Paso. Giovanna Herrera and Luis Araiza, 15, were shot to death along with a Mexican man traveling with them just after 11 a.m., Sandoval said.
Sandoval said authorities also identified a 24-year-old woman killed Friday inside a tortilla shop as Lorena Izaguirre, a U.S. citizen and El Paso resident. A Mexican man was also found dead in the store.
Yemen charges US-born radical cleric al-Awlaki
Sorry Yemen, Putting our Enemy on your enemy list is just not going to cut it!
How about you actively go after Al Qaida, How about you step it up and do what is right !
It's a nice thought but I don't see these assholes doing anything about the Al Qaida problem in Yemen, Having a happy little trial in absentia is just a show, It might work for the Obamasiah but it ain't gonna work for the rest of the United States.
CHRON
SAN'A, Yemen — Yemen put a U.S.-born radical cleric on trial in absentia Tuesday, accusing him and two other men with plotting to kill foreigners and of being members of al-Qaida.
It was the first formal legal action by Yemen against Anwar al-Awlaki, and came as the country faces heavy pressure to crack down on the terror network following the interception of two mail bombs intercepted in Dubai and Britain last week.
Prosecutor Ali al-Saneaa announced the charges against al-Awlaki as part of a trial against another man, Hisham Assem, who has been charged accused of killing a Frenchman in an Oct. 6 attack at an oil firm's compound where he worked as a security guard.
Assem, 19, was present in court, but al-Awlaki and a third suspect, Osman al-Awlaki, were charged in absentia. The hearing was held amid tight security measures at a courthouse in downtown San'a.

Parcel bomb plotters 'used dry run', say US officials
Again why is not more being done ?
oh yeah it is election time , Politics come first !
BBC
A US official has told the BBC that suspect packages from Yemen were intercepted in September, in what may have been a dry run for last week's foiled parcel bomb plot.
The shipments from Yemen to Chicago are reported to have contained literature and other materials, but no explosives.
The idea was to test how long it would take for the packages to reach their destination, US officials suspect.
Last week, two parcel bombs were found on cargo planes in the UK and Dubai.
The parcels - with powerful PETN explosives hidden inside printer toner cartridges - were shipped from Yemen's capital Sanaa through UPS and another US cargo firm, FedEx.

Canada bans air cargo from Yemen
And as it Should Be !
Is it just me or is everybody else wondering when Somebody, ANYBODY , is going to really show some balls in all of this ?
CBC
Canada has banned all air cargo originating from Yemen in the wake of last week's discovery of explosive material on flights bound for the United States.
The ban was not instituted based on intelligence specific to Canada, said Transport Minister Chuck Strahl. It is instead an interim measure to keep people safe while the government decides what further steps might be necessary, he said.
Earlier Monday, Germany suspended all passenger flights from Yemen until further notice. It had previously banned all cargo flights from the country after it was determined that one of the packages was routed to London through the UPS hub in Cologne.
Britain has banned all unaccompanied freight packages from Yemen and Somalia, and barred all passengers from transporting toner cartridges larger than 500 grams in their carry-on luggage as of Monday night.
