Cry baby Jihadist in Detroit!

The panty bomber is none too happy couped up in his cell with no Jihad material to read.
TOO BAD!
Sit and sweat it out you little bitch!

If you can't do the time?

Freep.com
The so-called underwear bomber charged with trying to blow up a Detroit-bound airliner says prison life hasn’t been so good for him, claiming that he’s been denied certain reading materials and commissary items.

“I feel – how should I say – I’m being treated unjustly and unfairly by the government,” Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab told a federal judge in Detroit today.

Abdulmutallab, who has insisted on representing himself thus far, told his grievances to U.S. District Court Judge Nancy Edmunds during a pretrial conference.

During the hearing, Abdulmutallab said that he hasn’t been able to call his lawyer when he wants. He also said prison officials canceled one of his magazine subscriptions – he did not name the magazine -- and have told him that he is not allowed to read “inflammatory” material.

“That leaves me with nothing but a few religious books and certain fiction,” Abdulmutallab said, later adding, “I think that’s very unfair. They can pretty much take any reading material and say there’s inflammatory (material) in that.”

Bodies found as Mexicans march against drug violence

This is why the United States Government should be putting out a travel warning or better yet an outright ban on Mexican travel, it is unsafe to go there.

The whole situation in Mexico is exactly like the one in Afghanistan! worse on some levels especially when it comes to the body count.

BBC
Protests in more than 20 Mexican cities against drug-related violence have been interrupted by news of the discovery of 59 bodies.

The bodies were found in Tamaulipas state by police investigating the abduction of bus passengers.

The area is a hotspot in the violence related to drug trafficking that is ravaging parts of Mexico.

The violence was condemned by protesters in the main square in Mexico City, who chanted: "No more blood!"

The bodies were found in eight separate graves in the area of San Fernando, police said - with 43 corpses found in a single grave.

Authorities in Tamaulipas said they had found the graves while investigating reports that, late last month, buses in the area had been stopped and passengers pulled off and kidnapped .

In a raid, 11 people were arrested, while five others being held captive by the alleged kidnappers were freed.

Trace Amounts of Radiation From Japan Found in U.S. Drinking Water

And here we go, "Trace" levels of Radiation! That's all, don't worry about it right?
Fine, but I do not trust the EPA, (A government thing, you know) and knowing what most Government agencies do "LIE" I ain't buying it.
For one why are we not hearing about the radiation traversing the U.S., why is nothing being said. the Japanese Government has been lying for weeks over how much radiation has been being spewed into the environment, so why wouldn't ours do the same? you know,
all in the name of helping Japan, all in the name of keeping panic out of the news, all in the name of Bullshit!
No I don't think we are being overdosed with radiation, but I do believe that our Government would specifically keep numbers at lower levels so as to keep us in the dark over how much we really are being radiated! in the name of "It's for our own good"

Foxnews
Trace amounts of radioactive iodine from Japan's crippled nuclear reactors have been found in drinking water in Washington State and Idaho, the Environmental Protection Agency announced late Monday.

The levels of iodine-131 found -- about 0.2 picocuries per liter -- in drinking water samples from Boise, Idaho, and Richland, Wash., are so small that EPA officials estimate that an infant would have to drink nearly 7,000 liters to receive a dose of radiation equivalent to a day's worth of normal background radiation.

"Earlier precipitation samples collected by EPA have shown trace amounts of radioactivity, so EPA has expected to find results such as these in some drinking water samples," the statement read. "Similar findings are to be expected in the coming weeks."

The EPA's standard for the maximum level of iodine-131 in drinking water is 3 picocuries per liter. Iodine-131 can be harmful in higher amounts, particularly to infants and young children, because it concentrates in the thyroid gland and can lead to cancer.

Drinking water tested free of detectable levels of radioactive contaminants in several other U.S. cities, including Seattle; Portland; Idaho Falls, Idaho; New Orleans; Bismarck, N.D.; Austin, Texas; and Lynchburg, Va.

Also on Monday, the EPA reported elevated levels of radionuclides in rainwater from Olympia, Portland and cities in Alabama, California, Connecticut, Idaho, Minnesota, New York, Ohio and Tennessee. Levels of iodine-131 ranged as high as 242 picocuries per liter in Boise. Levels in Olympia, Wash., and Portland, Ore., were 125 picocuries per liter and 87 picocuries per liter, respectively.

Although those levels are several times higher than the EPA's drinking-water standard for iodine-131, the agency says that the standard is designed to protect a person who drinks contaminated water daily for 70 years. However, because the isotope has a half-life of eight days, levels of iodine-131 are expected to drop quickly.

Japanese Plug Nuclear Plant Leak

Sounds good eh? And it is, it is awesome news. But the problem now is Hydrogen buildup within one of the containment vessels, this is not so good.
If they can not properly treat this situation and get it under control we will have a Chernobyl style situation.
Let's hope they are already building the sarcophagus for this one.

VOA
Troubles continue at Japan's crippled nuclear plant, where technicians believe they have solved one big problem but are confronting another.

Officials said Wednesday they have finally stopped a leak of radioactive water from the Fukushima power station that was raising radiation in the nearby ocean to millions of times the legal limit.

But now they are worried about a build-up of hydrogen inside the containment vessel at another of the plant's six reactors, creating the risk of an explosion that could release large amounts of radiation into the atmosphere. Plant officials said they may pump nitrogen into the reactor in an attempt to halt the chemical reaction.

A British man in Ivory Coast describes being trapped in his home

Ivory Coast leader Laurent Gbagbo, besieged in his presidential compound in Abidjan, is still negotiating his departure with the UN and could surrender "within hours", France says.

However the French armed forces chief said military strikes against Mr Gbagbo could resume if he refused to go.

Mr Gbagbo is encircled by troops loyal to the recognised winner of November's disputed election, Alassane Ouattara.

Mr Gbagbo has denied he is surrendering saying he is only negotiating a truce.

French Armed forces chief Adm Edouard Guillaud told Europe 1 radio that Mr Gbagbo had twice been on the point of stepping down - on 1 April and 4 April - before pulling back.

He said negotiations with the UN had continued through the night without result.

"Unfortunately I can't see a way out for the time being, I think it's a matter of hours... in the course of the day," he said.

"He is locked in the [presidential] residence and it remains in the possession of his supporters."

Japan nuke plant spews more radiation into sea

Awesome, when do we start getting fed the Radioactive Fish?
Don't you get tired of hearing how the Radiation is not a problem, Move along Sheeple!

Foxnews
Radiation in seawater at the shoreline off Japan's tsunami-ravaged nuclear power plant has measured several million times the legal limit over the past few days, though officials contended Tuesday that the contamination still does not pose an immediate danger.

Radiation has been pouring in to the Pacific from the Fukushima Dai-ichi plant since a 9.0-magnitude earthquake spawned a massive tsunami that inundated the complex. Over the weekend, workers there discovered a crack where highly contaminated water was spilling directly into the ocean.

Experts have said that radiation dissipates quickly in the vast Pacific, but they have also said that it's unclear what the long-term effects of large amounts of contamination will be.

While Jones does not plan on any future Koran burnings, the death threats are streaming in.

"Right now we have a little over 300 threats, today 10 threats have come in," Jones said.

Some threats are so specific that they name date time and place.

Afghanistan: Nato soldiers shot by Afghan 'policeman'

It would not be surprising at all, and not the first time.

Bastards.

BBC
Two Nato soldiers have been shot dead by a man wearing an Afghan border police uniform in Afghanistan's Faryab province, officials say.

Nato is investigating the incident but said the gunman had fled the checkpoint where the shooting happened.

But another account says that the shots were fired from a nearby house and a police officer ran away at that point.

Nato is due begin transferring power to local Afghan forces in July.

If the attacker in this incident is proven to be a member of the security forces, this would be just the latest in a string of attacks by Afghan security personnel on foreign forces.

At least one person has been killed and 16 injured in a third day of protests in Afghanistan over the burning of a Koran in the US last month.

Hundreds of demonstrators marched in Kandahar, Jalalabad and other areas on Sunday.

Ten people in Kandahar died and dozens were injured following Saturday's protests...

The UN's chief envoy to Afghanistan, Staffan de Mistura, blamed Friday's violence in the northern city of Mazar-e Sharif on the Florida pastor who burnt the Koran on 20 March.

"I don't think we should be blaming any Afghan," Mr de Mistura said. "We should be blaming the person who produced the news - the one who burned the Koran. Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from offending culture, religion, traditions."

The UN would temporarily re-deploy 11 staff members to Kabul while their office in Mazar-e Sharif was rebuilt, he said, but there would be no evacuation.

Federal Agents Told to Reduce Border Arrests, Arizona Sheriff Says

I'm pretty sure this will get hushed in the media, but I can fully believe this is going on.
I have never understood why there is such a push to import people from another country, into the United States, it makes no sense.
But it happens, so many politicians that make the laws in this land want more than anything any Mexican that wants to come to the U.S. to go ahead and do so.
I don't know what the benefits of taking on another countries people are, while the whole time the Citizens who live here now are looked upon like third world citizens.

Foxnews
An Arizona sheriff says U.S. Border Patrol officials have repeatedly told him they have been ordered to reduce -- at times even stop -- arrests of illegal immigrants caught trying to cross the U.S. border.

Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever told FoxNews.com that a supervisor with the U.S. Border Patrol told him as recently as this month that the federal agency’s office on Arizona's southern border was under orders to keep apprehension numbers down during specific reporting time periods.

“The senior supervisor agent is telling me about how their mission is now to scare people back,” Dever said in an interview with FoxNews.com. “He said, ‘I had to go back to my guys and tell them not to catch anybody, that their job is to chase people away. … They were not to catch anyone, arrest anyone. Their job was to set up posture, to intimidate people, to get them to go back.”

Dever said his recent conversation with the Border Patrol supervisor was the latest in a series of communications on the subject that he has had with various federal agents over the last two years. Dever said he plans to relay the substance of these conversations when he testifies under oath next month before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.

“I will raise my hand to tell the truth and swear to God, and nothing is more serious or important than that,” he said. “I’m going to tell them that, here’s what I hear and see every day: I had conversation with agent A, B, C, D and this is what they told me.”

Nine dead in Afghan Koran burning protests

Koranimals! how crazy this is watching these Rejects of Islam tear up their country over a book ! Print another one you jackass's.
An idea I have though, if we pull every American soldier out of these crazy ass Islamic countries, and advertise a massive Koran Burning(With video and everything) maybe these ignorant meatbags will kill each other off in their frenzied blind rage!

It's just a book Idiots.

(Reuters) - At least nine people have been killed in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar, officials said on Saturday, on a second day of violent protests over the burning of a Koran by a radical fundamentalist Christian in the United States.

A suicide attack also hit a NATO military base in the capital Kabul, the day after protesters over-ran a UN mission in the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif and killed seven foreign staff, in the deadliest attack on the UN in Afghanistan.

The violence is the worst in Afghanistan for months, and comes as the country gears up for the first stage of a years-long security handover to Afghan troops, and after the commander of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan, General David Petraeus, delivered an optimistic assessment of progress in the war.

Friday's attack, followed by a series of protests on Saturday, were sparked by the actions of Christian preacher Terry Jones who supervised the burning of the Koran in front of about 50 people at a church in Florida on March 20, according to his website.

The spokesman for the Kandahar governor, Zalmay Ayoubi, said at least nine people were killed and over 70 injured in Saturday's violence in the city in the spiritual heartland of the Taliban.

800 die in Ivory Coast ethnic violence'

The Ivory Coast has been in turmoil for months now, every since their elections back in December or so of last year.

3-Year-Old Asks Cops if They 'Found His Mom's Weed'

Foxnews
Talk about a 'pot'-ty mouth.

Police officers in Austin, Texas, say they were questioning a woman about some outstanding warrants when she began acting suspicious -- eventually prompting her 3-year-old son to ask if they had “found his mom’s weed,” MyFoxAustin.com reports.

The officers became suspicious when the woman, Johnisha Terry, 22, grabbed at her feet. Terry was pulled out of the vehicle in which she was riding, and one officer noticed scattered marijuana around the seat’s floorboard, according to an affidavit.

As police searched the vehicle, the boy started to chat with the officers and eventually asked them if they found his mom’s weed, according to the report.

Tens of thousands of evacuees can't head home for months

So now radiation has been found in beef, what next for Japan.

The effects are being seen here in the states also. it is funny though that all those radiation monitoring stations they rushed to put up mysteriously did not work, radiation was detected all the way in Boston before the rest of the United States.
And then the report that radiation contaminated milk was found in Washington State, yeah they say it is at extremely low levels, but do you want to trust anybody in charge? Imagine the mayhem here if everybody knows that we are ingesting food contaminated with radiation, of course they are going to tell us the levels are low.

CNN
"The evacuation period is going to be longer than we wanted it to be," Edano said. "We first need to regain control of the nuclear power plant."...

The plight of the evacuees and those within a 20-to-30 kilometer radius of the facility, who have been told to stay indoors and encouraged to leave, is one of many storylines still playing out in relation to the crisis. Many are rooted at the northeast Japan power plant where dozens of workers, soldiers and others are rushing to prevent the disaster from worsening, while further afoot farmers, citizens and officials are dealing with the effects of already released radiation.

That includes news Thursday, from Japan's health ministry, thatradiation higher than the regulatory limit has been found in beef from Fukushima prefecture, the same province as the embattled nuclear plant.

The levels were slightly above the guidelines set by Japan's Nuclear Safety Commission -- 510 becquerels (a measurement of radioactivity by weight), compared to the official limit of 500 becquerels. For reference, Japan earlier set a 100-becquerel threshold at which infants shouldn't drink tap water, with a 300-becquerel maximum for adults.

The meat will not be sold and will be retested, the ministry said.

The finding is the first such in beef, although authorities have banned the sale and transport of numerous vegetables grown in the area after tests detected radiation.
