Iran, a new Naval threat?
Nahhhhhh. A joke yes, a threat nowhere close.
How can a submarine full of Islamic rejects be a threat when they will be busy molesting each other and the few goats they will have on board for the "fresh Milk"
Foxnews
TEHRAN, Iran -- Iran has sent submarines to the Red Sea in the first such deployment by the country's navy in distant waters, a semi-official news agency reported on Tuesday.
The deployment reflects Iran's efforts to show off its naval power. Iran has long sought to upgrade its air defense systems and navy to portray itself as a regional military superpower, as well as prepare for any possible future attacks against the country, saying they would most likely be air and sea-based.
The Fars news agency, which is close to Iranian military officials, said the submarines would collect data in international waters and identify warships of other countries.
The report quoted an unnamed government official as saying the submarines accompanied Iranian warships on an anti-piracy route in the Gulf of Aden before they moved into the Red Sea earlier this month. Fars gave no details on the number or capabilities of the submarines.
Iran has long had three Russian-made submarines and last year, four new small Iranian-built submarines were delivered to its navy.
The four were said to be Ghadir class submarines, which can fire missiles and torpedoes and at the same time are capable of cruising in shallow waters, such as those of the Persian Gulf off the Iranian coast.

Iran Iranian Navy Sends Submarines to Red Sea
The Weiner Has Been Exposed.
Exposed as a Lying little bitch, But he will not resign he says.
That's typical of a liberal ass clown to do something like this and then stand back and say , well I apologized so forget about it.
Sorry Dick, it ain't going away that easy.
Foxnews
Rep. Anthony Weiner faces an uncertain political future after the married New York Democrat admitted Monday in a stunning, nearly half-hour news conference that he had conducted "inappropriate" and sometimes explicit exchanges with six women he met online over the past three years.
Weiner apologized, saying he is "deeply ashamed," but has no plans to resign.
Yet the House leader from his own party, Nancy Pelosi, publicly called for an ethics investigation into Weiner's actions, and even if he were to be cleared of wrongdoing in such an inquiry, it remains to be seen whether voters from his New York City district will re-elect him to an eighth term in 2012.
Weiner expressed hope that he could win back the trust of his constituents.
"This was me doing a dumb thing and doing it repeatedly and then lying about it," Weiner said. "And that's all there is."
Weiner had claimed for days that his Twitter account had been hacked after a close-up underwear photo intended for a female college student in Seattle was posted publicly. That was a lie, he said Monday, explaining that he had "panicked" and created the story to conceal his actions.
Weiner said he takes "full responsibility" for his actions. "I have made terrible mistakes that have hurt the people I care about the most and I'm deeply sorry," Weiner said, as he proceeded to detail a host of indiscretions, though he said he never met in person with the women he contacted online and by phone.

Antimatter Atoms Trapped for More Than 15 Minutes
For as interesting as this is, the articles have been pretty boring on it, long winded and philosophical, none of the good tidbits in them.
but what ever you want to think about it I guess, I just can't wait until they come out and say that they really can create a Antimatter pulse engine, Like the Aliens have.
Scientific American
Maybe antimatter is finally ready for its close-up. A team of physicists has succeeded in producing rudimentary atoms of antimatter and holding on to them for several minutes, an advance that holds hope for detailed comparisons of how ordinary atoms of matter compare with their exotic antimatter counterparts.
The researchers, from the ALPHA antimatter experiment at CERN, the European laboratory for particle physics, reported last year the first trapping of antihydrogen, the simplest antimatter atom. But the antihydrogen had at that time been confined for less than two tenths of a second. That interval has now been extended by a factor of more than 5,000. In a study published online June 5 in Nature Physics, the ALPHA group reports having confined antihydrogen for 16 minutes and 40 seconds. The more relevant number for physicists, who often deal in powers of 10, is 1,000 seconds.
Israeli military blames protesters for killing 10 of their own
Ha Ha. Way to go idiots.
stupid rejects, even if the landmines were not there they would have been firebombing their own people to begin with, the landmines just make it funnier.
Jerusalem (CNN) -- The Israeli military on Monday blamed protesters trying to cross the fortified border between Syria and occupied Golan Heights for the deaths of 10 of their own, saying they threw fire bombs that set off landmines.
About 10 of the protesters killed in Sunday's clashes were killed "as a result of their own activity," Lt. Col. Avital Leibovich, an Israeli military spokeswoman, told CNN Monday.
The protests came on the anniversary of the 1967 Middle East War, when Israel captured the Golan Heights from Syria. The Israel Defense Forces said that Israeli troops used tear gas and live ammunition on members of an "angered mob."
A group of protesters near the Kuneitra border crossing threw fire bombs that detonated a number of old landmines that had been placed in the area, Leibovich said. The resulting explosions, she said, led to the death of some of the protesters.
Leibovich said the information was based on intelligence assessments and reports from Israeli military commanders on the ground.Syrian state media reported 23 protesters were killed by Israeli soldiers opening fire on demonstrators.
Suicide car bombing in Tikrit kills at least 12
Might as well start the week off right with a nice suicide car bomber.
Why go to work and lead a normal life when you can kill yourself in the name of Islam and take a few filthy bastards with you?
BBC
A suicide car bombing in the Iraqi city of Tikrit has killed at least 12 people, police say.
At least another 19 people were injured in the attack which struck the hometown of the former leader Saddam Hussein.
The attack targeted the entrance to a complex of palaces which formerly belonged to him and which currently houses security offices.
It comes three days after attacks on a Tikrit mosque and hospital killed at least 21 people.
Monday's attack was "a suicide car bomb that blew up at the main gate while a process of handing over checkpoints from the police to the army was taking place", Hassan Abdulla, media adviser to the head of the local provincial council, told Reuters news agency.
Mr Abdulla said those killed included several military officers, among them a colonel who was the head of military intelligence in Tikrit.

Pakistan: US triple drone strike 'kills 18'
Excellent, these must have been some good targets for the U.S. to violate Pakistan's wishes so close to the previous time of violating Pakistan's wishes of not violating there airspace with Predator drones.
More Predator Drone Strikes please.
BBC
Three US drone strikes have killed at least 18 people on the volatile Afghan-Pakistan border, officials say.
The first two attacks hit a seminary and a compound in the South Waziristan tribal area, officials said. The third hit a vehicle.
They come days after al-Qaeda operative Ilyas Kashmiri was reported to have been killed in a US strike in the area.
Militants have vowed to avenge his reported killing, as well as the death of Osama Bin Laden last month.
Ilyas Kashmiri headed a group that specialises in co-ordinated multiple strikes on targets, and was a key commander in al-Qaeda.
He is widely believed to have masterminded an audacious attack on the Mehran naval airbase in Karachi last month, in which six well-organised militants managed to hold off Pakistan's equivalent of the US Navy Seals for 15 hours.

Pakistan minister: very likely al Qaeda's Kashmiri is dead
And that predator drone strike the other day, they are saying it did kill the top Al Qaida goat raper. The normal denial and crap is going on but the Jawa report confirms it better than any other news site could ever want too.
It is nice to know that we will disregard Pakistans wishes of halting all predator drone strikes.
(Reuters) - Pakistan's interior minister said on Sunday that he was "98 percent sure" senior al Qaeda operative Ilyas Kashmiri was killed in a U.S. drone strike near the Afghan border.
U.S. officials in Washington were skeptical over reports that Kashmiri, seen as one of the world's most dangerous militants, was dead.
A U.S. National Security official said he could not confirm that he had been killed and another U.S. official said it was doubtful.
"All ground intelligence shows that he is dead. What I can say is there is a 98 percent chance he is dead," Interior Minister Rehman Malik told Reuters.
"Since we do not have the body. We do not have DNA we need to confirm. This is the substantive evidence we are looking for."
That may not be possible since it is very difficult for Pakistani security forces to get to areas like South Waziristan where intelligence officials said Kashmiri was killed in a drone strike on Friday night.
After missile strikes by remotely-operated drone aircraft, militants often seal off the area then bury their comrades.

Pakistan: Deadly bomb kills six near Peshawar
The Taliban sure are teaching those filthy bus riders a lesson.
BBC
At least six people have been killed in a bomb blast outside the north-western Pakistani city of Peshawar, police say.
The bomb was planted at a bus stop near a market in the town of Matani, about 20km (12 miles) south of Peshawar, police commanders told news agencies.
Matani is close to Pakistan's lawless tribal regions and the Afghan border.
It is not clear who carried out the attack but Pakistan has been battling Islamist militants and its own version of the Taliban.
At least 10 people were wounded in the attack in Matani.

At least 63 killed in deadliest day of Syria protests
Killing protesters is the new trend in the Muslim world.
why this is not more strongly condemned in the media?
Why does the media really not report much on it?
Haaretz.com
Syrian forces killed at least 63 civilians in attacks to crush pro-democracy demonstrations on Friday, the Syrian human rights organization Sawasiah said on
Saturday.
Thousands of protesters took to the streets after noon prayers on Friday in defiance of security forces determined to crush a revolt against President Bashar Assad's 11-year rule.
Sawasiah said 53 demonstrators were killed in the city of Hama, one in Damascus and two in the northwestern province of Idlib.
Seven people were also killed in the town of Rastan in central Syria, which has been under a military assault and a siege by tanks since Sunday.
It was one of the bloodiest days since the revolt broke out 11 weeks ago.
DR. Death, Has Died.
So Long Jack.
BBC
Jack Kevorkian, the controversial American doctor who claimed to have assisted more than 100 suicides, has died aged 83.
To his critics, he was Dr Death. To other detractors, Jack the Dripper.
Kevorkian was given plenty of nicknames after receiving international attention in the 1990s, throughout which he waged a defiant campaign to help people end their lives.
But to his supporters, he became the poster boy for legislative reform.
Both sides of the debate would agree that he provoked a national discussion, and doctor-assisted suicide is now legal in three American states.
"Kevorkian didn't seek out history, but he made history," was the conclusion of his attorney, Geoffrey Feiger.
Even the judge who put him behind bars, Jessica Cooper of Oakland County in Michigan, acknowledged as much.

Taliban vow more attacks against Pak govt, military facilities
Surprise!
The Taliban will continue killing Muslims to teach the U.S. A lesson. And to make Pakistan listen to them.
"Our new strategy of launching big attacks on military installations was aimed at causing demoralisation in the ranks of the security forces and tiring out the government. We also want to limit civilian casualties. Our ultimate objective is to force the government to end its alliance with the US," Mohammad said.
In other words, They will keep killing whoever they please until Pakistan listens to them and makes the U.S. leave Muslim countries.
Sorry bitch it ain't happening any time soon.
The Times Of India
ISLAMABAD: The Taliban have vowed to launch more "high-profile" attacks against government and military installations in Pakistan, saying that the terror group's aim is to force the authorities here to end their alliance with the US.
Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leader Maulana Faqir Mohammad said his group, which was earlier focussing on the war in Afghanistan, had changed its strategy and would now launch more large-scale attacks against Pakistani security forces like the one on the PNS Mehran naval airbase in Karachi and assaults that targeted border check posts in Dir region of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.
Individual strikes by militants in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and other parts of Pakistan will continue but the "preferred option would be to mount high-profile attacks against government and military installations," Mohammad told The News daily.
Mohammad, who was deputy head of the TTP before disappearing from the scene last year amid reports that he had patched up with the government, spoke to the media after a considerable gap.

U.K. Counters Terrorists by Redirecting Them to U.S. Cupcake Recipes
After they were all prepped and ready to start making bombs in moms kitchen... I wonder How many Al Qaida Rejects have followed the directions and made cupcakes now, or better yet how many have bookmarked the cupcake website.
Foxnews
LONDON -- Would-be terrorists searching the Internet for tips on how to build bombs were instead taught how to bake the perfect cupcake after an intervention by British intelligence, London's The Daily Telegraph reported Thursday.
Intelligence agency MI6 launched the cyber operation against jihadi magazine, Inspire, in an attempt to hamper attempts by Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsular (AQAP) to attract "lone wolf" terrorists.
Surfers trying to download the English-language magazine's "Make a bomb in the Kitchen of your Mom" feature were instead redirected to a site boasting recipes for "The Best Cupcakes in America."
The baking site, which is published by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," promises treats for "today's sweet-toothed hipsters" including the mojito cupcake, made using white rum and vanilla buttercream.
The 67-page Inspire contains instructions on how to make rudimentary pipe bombs using sugar, match heads and a miniature lightbulb.

Gmail Accounts Compromised by Chinese Hackers, Google Says
Ah yes the Almighty Google has been hacked, Again.
Yes Google figured it out to, Through the strength of their Cloud-based Security!
To bad it took them a year!
Foxnews
Chinese hackers have infiltrated Google's Gmail system and broken into hundreds of accounts, including those of senior government officials, military personnel and political activists, the company said.
Google says all victims have been notified and their accounts have been secured.
"Through the strength of our cloud-based security and abuse detection systems, we recently uncovered a campaign to collect user passwords, likely through phishing," wrote Eric Grosse, engineering director of Google's Security Team, in a post on the company blog.
"This campaign, which appears to originate from Jinan, China, affected what seem to be the personal Gmail accounts of hundreds of users including, among others, senior U.S. government officials, Chinese political activists, officials in several Asian countries (predominantly South Korea), military personnel and journalists."
Google credited its own security measures for detecting and disrupting the intrusions. Mila Parkour, a security researcher who helped alert Google to the Gmail breach, said the attacks had been occurring for at least a year before they were finally uncovered.
Afghan militants ambush Pakistan troops in Upper Dir
About 200 Taliban, sounds like a good target for some Predator drone activity.
But just another missed opportunity, Pakistan may wake up one day and realize what the U.S. can do to help out but until then...
Enjoy Pakistan.
BBC
At least 25 Pakistani troops died during a prolonged clash after hundreds of militants crossed the Afghan border on Tuesday, officials say.
About 200 insurgents, whom police say were wearing military uniform, ambushed a security checkpoint in Upper Dir, outside Pakistan's tribal areas.
Officials said army support had arrived at the remote checkpoint.
Upper Dir, which lies just outside Pakistan's volatile tribal areas, is regularly targeted by insurgents.
The militants began their raid on the town of Shaltalo in a remote, mountainous corner of Upper Dir district, near the border with Kunar province of Afghanistan, on Tuesday.
The military used heavy weapons and helicopter gunships to repulse the attack. Witnesses say the fighting has died down but sporadic gunfire is still being heard.

Global war on drugs 'has failed' say former leaders
Yeah this will please the cartels, they are positioned to continue doing what they do best no matter what anybody does.
Decriminalize, and the cartel still will be the leaders of pushing their products ( Do they think the cartels will stop? )
How about just clamping down the border? Fight that eh, it would do double duty, stop drugs and the flood of illegals at the same time.
BBC
The global war on drugs has "failed" according to a new report by group of politicians and former world leaders.
The Global Commission on Drug Policy report calls for the legalisation of some drugs and an end to the criminalisation of drug users.
The panel includes former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, the former leaders of Mexico, Colombia and Brazil, and the entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson.
The US and Mexican governments have rejected the findings as misguided.
The Global Commission's 24-page report argues that anti-drug policy has failed by fuelling organised crime, costing taxpayers millions of dollars and causing thousands of deaths.
It cites UN estimates that opiate use increased 35% worldwide from 1998 to 2008, cocaine by 27%, and cannabis by 8.5%

Cyber-weapons developed by Pentagon to enter online warfare soon
It is about time, for years I have been wondering why the U.S. does not do this.
Every other country does and we should be a least ready to defend it.
International business times
The Pentagon has designed a list of cyber weapons which include viruses that can disrupt important networks belonging to the enemy, a report in the Washington Post said.
A senior military official, on condition of anonymity, said the list of weapons is classified but has been used for several months and approved by other US agencies such as the CIA. The official added the listed weapons are ready to be employed against the enemy at any time.
The weapons, which can be anything, ranging from a tank to a computer virus, have been programmed in a way to make it easier for the army to handle and use them as per orders.
The official added the development of cyber-technology in the military warfare sector has been one of the most significant advancements in years.
The military will need presidential orders to install the cyber virus as a mode of weapon that can later be activated. However, orders will not be required to study other cyber-capabilities of the enemy. The most the military can do is to leave a beacon in the enemy’s stronghold to later activate the virus, upon getting orders, he said.

Endeavour space shuttle makes last touch-down
One more to go and that is it, no more space shuttle.
BBC
Space shuttle Endeavour has brought its 19-year operational career to a close with a textbook landing in Florida.
The vehicle swept into a night-time touch-down at the Kennedy Space Center after a successful trip to the International Space Station (ISS).
The US space agency (Nasa) is retiring its shuttle fleet and Endeavour will now be prepared for public display at a science museum in Los Angeles.
Only the Atlantis ship has yet to make a final outing.
It was moved to Kennedy's one active launch pad late on Tuesday night to get it ready for that swansong, which is expected to occur next month.
Endeavour's rear wheels touched the runway at Kennedy at 0234 local time (0634 GMT).

Yemen: 37 killed in Sanaa clashes
Not much yo say about Yemen, it is a cesspool.
I don't know who is right, or if anyone is right.
I just hope when it is over, Al Qaida does not have a state.
BBC
At least 37 people have been killed in overnight fighting in the Yemeni capital Sanaa, doctors and officials say.
Violence escalated after a ceasefire broke down between security forces and fighters loyal to Sheikh Sadiq al-Ahmar, head of a tribal confederation.
Analysts say the conflict threatens to drag Yemen into civil war.
Yemen is facing increasing unrest in several areas after President Ali Abdullah Saleh refused to step down.
Witnesses reported heavy fighting in the capital overnight as both sides blamed each other for breaking the ceasefire.
On Wednesday morning, witnesses also reported loud explosions coming from the north of Sanaa, but the reason was not clear.
The defence ministry accused tribesmen of seizing the headquarters of the ruling General People's Congress and other offices in Sanaa.
