Far to little and way too late, that is how the U.N. operates.
But the reason why is only due to the fact that NOBODY wants to really help this part of the World; and for good reason.
Too many countries have tried and been burnt in the end, there is no helping savages.
Too bad because of that small children have too suffer and die, but this is what the Militants want.
Al Jazzeera
Famine has spread to a sixth area of Somalia and tens of thousands of people have died as a result of severe food shortages, the United Nations has said.
More than half of Somalia's entire population faces a severe food shortage, and the world body has now officially extended the famine zone.
In Mogadishu, there are now half a million refugees and there are warnings from the UN that the famine could spread to the entire south of the country by the end of the year.
The UN says it needs at least $1bn, but one leading charity says the public is being mislead into believing that money can solve the crisis.
Medicine Sans Frontiere, Doctors Without Borders, wants international aid agencies to admit that reaching some of the worst affected victims of famine may not be possible.

Pakistan Army Says It Holds Al-Qaeda Global Operations Chief
If true this will be another nail in Al Qaedas latest coffin.
It is great seeing all the ring leaders killed or at least arrested.
(Bloomberg)
-- Pakistan said it arrested al-Qaeda’s top leader for international operations with American help, sounding a conciliatory tone on bilateral ties strained by the U.S. killing of Osama bin Laden in May.
Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate captured Younis Al-Mauritani and al-Qaeda operatives Abdul Ghaffar al- Shami and Messara al-Shami in the city of Quetta, the military’s press office said yesterday in an e-mailed statement. The arrests are part of “a strong, historic intelligence relationship” between both countries, the statement said.
The announcement came two weeks after U.S. officials said an American missile killed Atiyah Abd al-Rahman, who they said became al-Qaeda’s deputy leader following the killing of bin Laden by Navy Seals in Pakistan. The unilateral raid exacerbated tensions, as Pakistan expelled more than 100 American military personnel and the U.S. withheld $800 million in military aid.

Obama to spend Labor Day at Detroit AFL-CIO rally
In Detroit on Monday, Obama was also expected to tout his efforts to save the auto industry and millions of jobs by providing federal bailouts in 2009 for General Motors Corp. and Chrysler Group LLC. The AFL-CIO rally was being held in a GM parking lot.
Not a Biased crowd in the least.
Today is the Detroit Labor Day Parade, it is strictly a Union thing you know because only the Unions are allowed to have the parade in downtown.
40,000 union members will be in the parade.
The Obamasiah will speak at the end of the parade when the Union schleps are whipped into a frenzy from their own presence, the speech will go a little like this...
I am Great for you, you are great for me, suckle my testes and I will suckle yours, blah blah blah blah blah, just remember I am great.
Same old bullshit different parade.
Associated Press
President Barack Obama is celebrating Labor Day in Detroit, previewing his ideas for job creation and economic growth at a rally with thousands of supportive labor union members.
Obama's speech at an annual event sponsored by the Metropolitan Detroit AFL-CIO was serving as a dress rehearsal for the jobs address he'll deliver to a joint session of Congress on Thursday night.
The president's appearance follows last Friday's dismal jobs report, which showed that employers added no jobs in August. It was the first time since 1945 that the government reported a net job change of zero. The unemployment rate, meanwhile, held steady at 9.1 percent.
The disappointing report sparked new fears of a second recession and injected fresh urgency into efforts by Obama to help get millions of unemployed people back into the labor market — and help improve his chances of getting re-elected.
Electric motor made from a single molecule
Amazing stuff.
Nano technology for internal medicine is one step closer to reality, one day they will be able to inject individuals with purposely designed little doctor type robots to attack diseases like cancer.
By modifying the molecule slightly, it could be used to generate microwave radiation or to couple into what are known as nano-electromechanical systems, Dr Sykes said.
BBC
Tiny rotors based on single molecules have been shown before, but this is the first that can be individually driven by an electric current.
"People have found before that they can make motors driven by light or by chemical reactions, but the issue there is that you're driving billions of them at a time - every single motor in your beaker," said Charles Sykes, a chemist at Tufts University in Massachusetts, US.
"The exciting thing about the electrical one is that we can excite and watch the motion of just one, and we can see how that thing's behaving in real time," he told BBC News.

Mexican police cross into US
Nothing to see here, those were not Mexican Federal Police you saw crossing into the United States, move along.
ElPasoTimes
Mexican federal police momentarily crossed the Rio Grande into the United States on Thursday morning in an incursion under investigation by both countries, a U.S. Border Patrol spokesman said.
The incursion occurred east of the Zaragoza Bridge while three hunters were on the U.S. side on the first day of dove season.
Channel 9-KTSM reported a relative of the hunters told the station that gunmen in Mexico fired at the hunters and that the gunmen crossed the border and stole their chairs.
Border Patrol spokesman Doug Mosier said border agents and Texas Parks and Wildlife officers responded immediately. There were no reported injuries.
Agents arriving at the scene saw Mexican federal police crossing the river back into Mexico after they had been on the U.S. side, Mosier said.

Iran nuclear plant linked to grid
The IAEA says...
"increasingly concerned about the possible existence in Iran of past or current undisclosed nuclear related activities involving military related organisations."
These included "activities related to the development of a nuclear payload for a missile"
I say congratulations Iran, may you suffer a terrible nuclear meltdown in your antique reactor.
The Daily Star
Iran's first nuclear power plant has been hooked up to the national grid supplying 60 megawatts of its 1,000 megawatt capacity, the country's Atomic Energy Organisation announced on Sunday.
"Last night at 11:29 pm (1859 GMT), the Bushehr power plant was connected with 60 megawatts to the national grid," the organisation's spokesman Hamid Khadem Qaemi, told Al-Alam television.
The connection of the Russian-built plant in southern Iran to the national grid was originally scheduled for the end of 2010.
The Bushehr plant was started up in November 2010 but repeated technical problems delayed its operations, leading to the removal of its fuel rods last March.
"The capacity will gradually increase and it (is going through its) testing phase and on Shahrviar 21 (September 12) in a ceremony the power plant will reach its 40-percent capacity," Khadem Qaemi said.

Post-9/11, 35,000 Worldwide Convicted for Terror
Its funny sometimes, reading news from other countries, especially when it comes to terrorism anything.
According to the Jakarta globe here, terrorism laws are bad for human rights, arresting and jailing people for joining groups that are affiliated with Al Qaeda, is just not right it seems;the U.N. agrees...
“Originally the approach was the more the merrier, the stronger counter-terror laws, the better for the security of the world. But that was a serious mistake,” said Martin Sheinin, UN special rapporteur on human rights and counter-terrorism. “Nowadays people are realizing the abuse and even the actual use of counterterror laws is bad for human rights and also bad for actually stopping terrorism.”
So I guess it would be better to sit back and pick up the pieces of a suicide bomber and his or her victims after the fact instead of say, arresting them before hand ?
The view of some people on how to be kind to terrorists is absolutely Mind numbing.
JakartaGlobe
At least 35,000 people worldwide have been convicted as terrorists in the decade since the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States. But while some bombed hotels or blew up buses, others were put behind bars for waving a political sign or blogging about a protest.
In the first tally ever done of global anti-terror arrests and convictions, The Associated Press documented a surge in prosecutions under new or toughened anti-terror laws, often passed at the urging and with the funding of the West. Before 9/11, just a few hundred people were convicted of terrorism each year.
The sheer volume of convictions, along with almost 120,000 arrests, shows how a keen global awareness of terrorism has seeped into societies, and how the war against it is shifting to the courts. But it also suggests that dozens of countries are using the fight against terrorism to curb political dissent.

Gibson: Feds Want Guitar Woodwork Done by Foreign Labor
Think that the Obamasiah and his administration are for American Labor... Think again.
They would like to see Gibson Guitars outsource some of their woodwork, making them not a true American made Guitar.
Its Bullshit, being a Guitar player myself and having a descent collection of several guitars (9 right now) all from different countries, Japan , even China,
I know china blows but my Schecter Hellraiseris an amazing Guitar.
The thing is they all use some sort of exotic woods, Gibsons are known for their beautiful maple tops, my favorite fretboards are ebony, I can go online and purchase from anywhere in the world any exotic wood and make my own Guitar or whatever.
The feds, especially Eric Holder, should suck Gibsons Nuts and say he is very sorry for being an Asswipe.
I buy American Guitars for their Qualities, and the foreign ones for theirs, I don't want the feds telling me I can no longer purchase a pure American masterpiece like a Gibson !
Foxnews
Gibson Guitar Corp. is claiming the Obama administration wants more of its woodwork done overseas, as a bizarre battle heats up between the government and one of the country's most renowned guitar makers.
The dispute started in 2009, when federal agents raided the company over suspect wood shipments from Madagascar. Gibson took that case to court but has denounced the administration with a vengeance after agents returned late last month to raid several Gibson factories -- this time out of concern that Indian export laws had been violated.
Though some reports on the dispute have cited environmental concerns, court documents suggest the latest battle boils down to a simple, non-environmental question -- which country is working on the wood?
Gibson's CEO has said repeatedly that the only reason his company is in trouble is because U.S. workers are completing work on guitar fingerboards in the United States. In an interview earlier this week, CEO Henry Juszkiewicz claimed that the U.S. government even suggested Gibson's troubles would disappear if the company used foreign labor.

Why I don't like Apple.
Nice stuff they make, Yes indeed
Very expensive compared to other high quality alternatives at a lesser price, You bet.
It is the attitude of Apple and to some extent their users, the never ending arrogance of the Apple corporation is a real turn off.
Apple can take all there tracking codes and their fake as police bullshit and shove it, I will stick with a wide variety of choices that are out there that allow me to do whatever I want with them.
Maybe Apple should send the ass raping police to its pathetic hipster, hippie douchbag employees house that set his iphone 5 down at a bar to go hook up in the bathroom with a prospective life partner.( no this is not what happened, it is my joke about it you know !)
Apple employees may have impersonated police when searching for lost iPhone
DVICE
Well, this is sort of shady. You know that iPhone prototype that Apple lost (again)? It turns out that the "police" who visited "suspect" Sergio Calderón weren't police at all. They were Apple investigators. Yes, that is illegal.
Apparently the six investigators identified themselves as being from the San Francisco Police Department, and then proceeded to search Sergio's home and computers for any information regarding what's believed to be a lost iPhone 5. They also threatened him by asking him "Is everyone in this house an American citizen?" and said he was going to get into trouble. Everyone in his family is a legal citizen.

Militants kidnap 25 Pakistani boys in Afghanistan
The Taliban celebrate EID as only the Taliban can, by kidnapping teenage boys.
These boys will probably be recruited/forced to do the Taliban's bidding, like little slaves, hopefully they will be rescued before those silly Taliban guys rape the hell out of them.
Dawn.com
Taliban militants have kidnapped at least 25 Pakistani boys who had mistakenly crossed the unmarked border in the country’s lawless northwest into Afghanistan, DawnNews reported.
Moreover, an AFP report said more than 30 boys were kidnapped in the incident that took place on Thursday after the group of boys, aged between 12 and 18-years-old, visited the area of Gharkhi in Pakistan’s Bajaur tribal region for celebrations marking the Eid holiday.
“These boys inadvertently crossed into Afghanistan while picnicking on the second day of Eid and were kidnapped by militants,” senior local administration official Syed Nasim told AFP.

UN Finds Israel’s Gaza-Flotilla Interception Legal, Used Excessive Force
Israel was fully within their right to board the Flotilla last year but used excessive force when they started to defend themselves from the savages on board who wanted to kill them first.
Isn't this the way it always goes.
Bloomberg
Israel’s effort last year to stop a flotilla of ships from reaching the Gaza Strip was legal, though the way it was carried out was “excessive and unreasonable,” the United Nations said in a report.
“Israel’s decision to board the vessels with such substantial force at a great distance from the blockade zone and with no final warning immediately prior to the boarding was excessive and unreasonable,” according to the 105-page report obtained by the New York Times and posted on its website. The UN said Israel’s naval blockade was legal, so “it follows that Israel was also entitled to enforce it.”
The Israeli raid on May 31, 2010, on vessels attempting to breach the blockade of the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip left nine Turkish citizens dead, generated international criticism and prompted Turkey to suspend diplomatic and security cooperation. Turkey was once Israel’s closest ally in the region.
The release of the report, which has been held back, may do little to heal relations between nations. Turkey’s position is that both the Israeli maritime blockade of Gaza and the attack on the aid flotilla were unlawful.
Both countries were rebuked in the investigation.

Amusement Park Riot Over Muslim Head Scarves
You would not think that this would be happening here in the U.S., but there you go.
Muslims got Uppity and commenced to rioting in a New York Amusement park where there has been a ban on wearing headscarves on certain rides.
So why not start beating the shit out of people for it !
Islam the Religion of Ignorance of the Laws and rules Means it is O.K. for me to riot!
The Stir
Playland Amusement Park in New York was shut down Tuesday after a massive brawl broke out when Muslim visitors became angry after being told they couldn't wear head scarves on some of the rides.
The exact details of the incident vary (as you probably can imagine given the controversial nature of the dispute). But most reports say that the park was crowded with an estimated 3,000 Muslims celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr, a major Islam holiday at the end of Ramadan. The trouble began when women wearing Muslim hijab scarves tried to get on rides banning head coverings for safety reasons. The women said they were unaware of the safety regulations and asked for a refund. And that's when all hell broke lose ...
Members of the Muslim group began scuffling with park security officers; the police were called, the fight grew to 30 to 40 people, and, according to several witnesses, many Muslim visitors were hit, pushed to the ground, arrested, and handcuffed. All in all, two people were charged with felony assault, 13 people (including three women) were charged with disorderly conduct and assault, and two police rangers were injured. And, the park was forced to shut down for two hours because of the chaos.

Nigerian bombers blame U.N. for 'oppression' of Muslims
Yeah the Org that pretty much will not do or say anything against Muslims even when they are like you know, Al Qaida, is now oppressing Muslims!
Islam the Religion of Feckin Idiots.
CNN
The Nigerian Islamic militant group Boko Haram says it bombed U.N. offices in Abuja last week because the world body is a partner "in the oppression of believers," a spokesman for the group said Wednesday.
Friday's car bombing killed 23 people and wounded more than 80. Boko Haram, which aims to impose a strict version of Islamic law in Nigeria, claimed responsibility for the attack.
In a brief telephone interview arranged by an intermediary, Boko Haram spokesman Abul Qaqa said a 27-year-old Nigerian named Mohammed Abul Barra drove the explosives-packed Honda Accord into the U.N. building.
"All over the world, the U.N. is a global partner in the oppression of believers," Qaqa said. "We are at war against infidels. In Nigeria, the federal government tries to perpetuate the agenda of the United Nations."
