I say profile ! Profile the hell out of Muslim passengers on planes ! Especially when they are coming into the States , it has not been Your average white American Bible thumping , redneck right wing , Gun toting Male , doing this shit all the time , every time it has been a Muslim ! (Or Radical Islamist If that makes you feel Better )
I don't know what else needs to Happen , for profiling to become the Best security screening measure implemented at all Airports !

Police are conducting searches at a mansion block in London in connection with the inquiry into an attempted act of terrorism on a US passenger plane.

Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab, 23, a Nigerian being held after the flight to Detroit, is thought to have been a student at University College London.

Prime Minister Gordon Brown said the UK would take "whatever action was necessary" to protect passengers.

UK airport operator BAA said searches on flights to the US would increase.

Meanwhile, a statement on British Airway's website said Washington has revised its security arrangements for all travellers to the US and they would only be allowed one piece of hand luggage.

A BA spokesman said the directive meant US-bound passengers on all airlines would be subjected to additional screening.

"We apologise to passengers for any delays to their journeys. Safety and security are our top priorities and will not be compromised."

Bolivian man acted alone in Mexico hijacking, official says

MEXICO CITY (CNN) -- A 44-year-old Bolivian drug addict and alcoholic who describes himself as a church minister was the sole person responsible for the brief hijacking Wednesday of a commercial jetliner, a Mexican official said.
The suspect -- Josmar Flores Pereira -- told authorities he hijacked the Boeing 737 jet because the date -- September 9, 2009, or 9/9/9, and 666 reversed -- held some significance for him, said Genaro Garcia Luna, the secretary for public safety.

"He said that because of that divine reference he wanted to alert Mexico City of an earthquake," Garcia told reporters.

Flanked by two police officers, the suspect -- wearing a white shirt and blue jeans -- was then paraded in front of the news media. Chewing gum, he smiled.

"Christ is coming soon," he told reporters before being escorted off.
The hijacker took control of Aeromexico Flight 576 as the jet it flew from the resort town of Cancun, telling a flight attendant he was one of three hijackers, Garcia said.

He said a cardboard box he had contained a bomb, and threatened to blow it up if his demand to speak to President Felipe Calderon was not met, Garcia said.

Calderon was in the presidential hangar in the airport preparing to depart when the incident began, leading him to cancel his planned flight, CNN affiliate TV Azteca reported.

The hijacking apparently went unnoticed by many of those aboard the plane, which landed five minutes ahead of scheduled and was moved to a remote area of the airport. Passengers, clutching their hand luggage, walked from the plane and down a moveable stairway onto the tarmac, where they got into buses.

Moments later, the suspect -- and several other people -- were taken into custody, TV Azteca said. The package turned out not to contain explosives, the station said.

Garcia said the other people who were detained turned out not to be involved.

Mexican hijack ends peacefully, all aboard safe

Hijackers seized an AeroMexico passenger plane in Mexico with more than 100 people on board on Wednesday but the incident ended quickly. without bloodshed, and nine suspects were detained.

In the first hijack drama to hit Mexico in decades, pilots of the Boeing 737 radioed in after taking off from the Caribbean resort of Cancun to say they had been hijacked in mid-air, Transport Minister Juan Molinar told reporters.

About two hours after the plane landed at Mexico City's international airport, its original destination, Molinar said all the passengers were safely off the aircraft and that there was no bomb threat.

"The passengers are safe. There was no bomb," Molinar told Mexico's Televisa channel shortly after TV images showed police leading the hijackers off the plane in handcuffs.

Nine men were detained, the daily El Universal reported on its website.

Mexican media said the hijackers had threatened to blow up the plane unless they were allowed to speak to President Felipe Calderon, whose presidential jet took off from Mexico City for the southeastern city of Campeche shortly after the drama.
