Danny Glover blames Haiti earthquake on failure to seal Copenhagen climate deal

“When we see what we did at the climate summit in Copenhagen, this is the response, this is what happens, you know what I’m sayin’?” said Danny Glover referring to the earthquake disaster in Haiti.

This is just as bad as Pat Robertson's comment.

TSA nominee: Stopping terrorism should be no higher priority than global warming or education

Via Hotair

“Due to connectivity that we have with countries such as Israel, France — countries that are seen by groups, by al Qaeda, as infidels or anti-Islamic — by the true nature of our alliance with them means that we subject to be attacked as well. I do think, however, it deserves to perhaps have some parity with global warming, with education, with the economy

Our 'connectivity...with countries such as Israel, France' is the reason al Qaeda wants to kill as many Americans as possible and institute shariah law in the US of A? I doubt America's relationships with other nations has the ability to piss off terrorist groups that much. The only reason why al Qaeda et al. are/want to attack us is because we don't live under shariah law and bow down to Mecca 5 times a day.

OMG...Obama's nominee for the TSA, Errol Southers, wants the priority of preventing terrorist attacks to be on par with stopping global warming (which even UN scientists are starting to distance themselves from). We will be in a lot of trouble if Congress approves Errol Southers to run the TSA.

British General says taliban must join security forces

What kind of drugs is this general hopped up on?

Eight CIA agents were killed by a suicide double agent bomber, a US soldier shot in the back by a rogue Afghan soldier who defected to the taliban after, and 5 British soldiers were killed by a Afghan soldier who sympathized with the taliban.

And the British general wants to integrate taliban fighters into the Afghan security forces?!?! This is absolute insanity! Telegraph

Taliban fighters who reconcile with the Afghan government must be allowed to join the police or army, a senior British general has told The Sunday Telegraph.

Major General Richard Barrons backs the move despite concerns that militants might use it as an opportunity to infiltrate the security services.[...]

Gen Barrons, who heads a newly-formed Nato unit seeking to reintegrate former insurgents, said he also expected to see Taliban commanders take senior positions within the President Hamid Karzai's administration in the future. He is hoping for "substantive delivery" in coaxing fighters to defect by late summer of this year.

Home association orders Medal of Honor winner to remove flagpole

An absolute disgrace! Times Dispatch

Col. Van T. Barfoot, a local Medal of Honor winner, is under the gun from his Henrico County community's homeowner association.

In a five-paragraph letter to Barfoot that he received yesterday, Barfoot is being ordered to remove a flagpole from his yard. The decorated veteran of three wars, now 90 years old, raises the American flag every morning on the pole, then lowers and folds the flag at dusk each day in a three-corner military fashion.

In a priority mail letter, the Coates & Davenport law firm in Richmond is ordering Barfoot to remove the pole by 5 p.m. Friday or face "legal action being brought to enforce the Covenants and Restrictions against you." The letter states that Barfoot will be subject to paying all legal fees and costs in any successful legal proceeding pursued by the homeowner association's board.

It's not the war on terror...i's the war on poverty

A British based charity organization completed a poll of the cause of violence in Afghanistan is...poverty. The taliban ranked third on the poll.

Perhaps this is why the war is taking so long, we've been fighting the wrong enemy. While we have been killing the taliban we really should have been throwing more money at Afghanistan to combat poverty.

From Voice of America

A Britain-based charity has found a majority of Afghans see poverty and unemployment as the major cause of conflict in their country. According to the report, interference by neighboring countries was fourth in the tally of factors.

Oxfam and a group of Afghan organizations interviewed more than 700 Afghans.

After poverty, the Afghans blamed government weakness and corruption as the second most important factor behind fighting. The Taliban came third, followed by interference by neighboring countries.[...]

"At the same time, the international community and the major donors - particularly the United States actually, being by far the largest donor - have got a responsibility, I think, to use aid resources much more effectively," he said. "You can see that over the years there has not been a good policy of building up the Afghan institutions capacity to deliver basic services to people."

Man made climate change belief now legally a religion

A British court ruling has given belief in man made climate change the same legal protections as religious beliefs.

This makes total sense...seriously though. Isn't a religion something one believes in but cannot prove on scientific grounds?

Even though Al Gore and co. like to say the scientific debate is over on man made climate change, there has been no conclusive evidence to prove their theories. So someone would have to have faith in the validity of the theory of man made climate change.

From Telegraph

An executive has won the right to sue his employer on the basis that he was unfairly dismissed for his green views after a judge ruled that environmentalism had the same weight in law as religious and philosophical beliefs.

In a landmark ruling, Mr Justice Michael Burton said that "a belief in man-made climate change ... is capable, if genuinely held, of being a philosophical belief for the purpose of the 2003 Religion and Belief Regulations".

The ruling could open the door for employees to sue their companies for failing to account for their green lifestyles, such as providing recycling facilities or offering low-carbon travel.

Starbucks....it's a Zionist plot

An Egyptian cleric seems to believe that the STarbucks logo represents a picture of the Jewish Queen Esther, who's act of bravery is celebrated today, the Jewish Holiday of Purim.

Heh, I always thought the Starbucks logo represented the Queen of the Nomos, an alien fish species that gave humanity knowledge of the stars and knowledge of farming. This is a whole other story. Check out the "story of the nomos, Coast to Coast" on youtube. Absolutely crazy.Yid with Lid has more.

Difference Between Muslim Terrorists & Sarah Palin? Lipstick

H/T: Infidels Are Cool
Juan Cole of salon.com accuses Sarah Palin, the GOP VP candidate, of sharing the same values with Hamas, Saudi Arabia and even Iran. I'm sure once Sarah Palin is in office she'll push for stoning of adultrious women, the death penalty for anyone who leaves Christianity, she'll take away the driving licenses of all the women in the US, and kill all homosexual people. That was sarcasm for those of you who are left of the aisle.

Uh...all I have to say is you stay classy left.

Palin agrees with Hamas and Saudi Arabia rather than supporting tolerance and democratic precepts. What is the difference between Palin and a Muslim fundamentalist?Lipstick.
