Kandahar, 29 Sept. (AKI) - At least 12 civilians have been killed in a roadside bomb attack that targeted a bus in southern Afghanistan. The bus was travelling through Kandahar province when it struck the device, local police said. "Twelve people, among them women and children, have been killed and 15 more civilians were wounded," provincial government spokesman Zalmai Ayoubi said of the blast.
The attack was blamed on the Taliban after a similar blast on the same road killed three civilians a day earlier.
