Nothing to see here, those were not Mexican Federal Police you saw crossing into the United States, move along.
ElPasoTimes
Mexican federal police momentarily crossed the Rio Grande into the United States on Thursday morning in an incursion under investigation by both countries, a U.S. Border Patrol spokesman said.
The incursion occurred east of the Zaragoza Bridge while three hunters were on the U.S. side on the first day of dove season.
Channel 9-KTSM reported a relative of the hunters told the station that gunmen in Mexico fired at the hunters and that the gunmen crossed the border and stole their chairs.
Border Patrol spokesman Doug Mosier said border agents and Texas Parks and Wildlife officers responded immediately. There were no reported injuries.
Agents arriving at the scene saw Mexican federal police crossing the river back into Mexico after they had been on the U.S. side, Mosier said.

racial profiling, In Detroit
Border agents patrol the Borders.
Illegal Immigrants from Mexico are the main source of illegal immigration.
Mexicans, come from Mexico.
Border agents tend to look at Mexicans when they are doing their job, More than they would look at me, A Caucasian American.
While working in Texas for two years, I did a lot of site seeing everywhere you go in El Paso beyond the city is a border patrol check station, I was asked the same line of questions as Mr.Arguellas Jr. and at times made to feel like a criminal; the border agents where doing their jobs in both cases.
No offense Mr. Arguellas, but blame your people flooding into the U.S. illegally for this situation, the Border agents where doing their job, And think for a second... how does a border agent find illegal aliens from Mexico without looking at Mexicans.
Detroit Free Press
On a sunny afternoon last month, Francisco Arguelles Jr. was fishing for silver bass along the Detroit River near Jefferson when a Border Patrol agent pulled up.
About 50 other people were around him, but Arguelles said the agent came straight to him and his brother -- the only Latinos there. The agent asked for identification, then started peppering the U.S. citizens with questions: Where are you from? When was the last time you were in Mexico? How do I know you're not an immigrant?
Arguelles, 28, said he told the agent, "I was born in Detroit."
But soon, four more agents arrived. They eventually left, but the Detroit brothers said they were shook up -- two of a growing number of metro Detroit Latinos who accuse federal agents of racial profiling.

Mexico Arrests Cartel Leader Suspected in Killing of U.S. Agent
Good, lets hope he can be extradited to the States and then executed!
( Oh yeah, we can't do that now either)http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif

Foxnews
MEXICO CITY – Mexican authorities said Monday they have arrested a co-fohttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifunder of the Zetas drug cartel who they also suspect was involved in the killing of a U.S. customs agent in Mexico in February.
Jesus Enrique Rejon Aguilar is identified as third in command of the criminal organization founded by former elite soldiers. Over the course of a decade, it went from being the military arm of the Gulf Cartel to its own drug-trafficking organization.
Rejon was one of Mexico's most-wanted men and the U.S. State Department had offered a $5 million reward for information leading to his arrest.
ICE agent Jaime Zapata
U.S. officials say Jaime Zapata, a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent, was killed and another agent wounded while driving through northern Mexico in February 2011.
Mexican federal police said he was captured "without gunfire" outside Mexico City in the town of Atizapan on Sunday. He was presented to reporters and photographers Monday.

Mexico demands probe in migrant killed by US agent
Mexico's Foreign Relations Department urged U.S. authorities to swiftly investigate and questioned the "use of firearms to repel an attack with stones."
O.K. we will no longer use guns! I propose a new method of deterrence,Catapults! loaded with rocks, boiling hot oil to set on fire when dumped over the extremely tall and well defended wall that must be built along the southern border to keep incidents like this from happening again!
And if the illegals are lucky enough to get past that then the border agents will be waiting with baseball bats with multiple spikes anchored in the business end, could be lethal could be not, it would depend on how much the jackass's decided to resist!
Foxnews
Mexican President Felipe Calderon on Wednesday condemned a Border Patrol agent's fatal shooting of a Mexican man who allegedly struck another agent with a nail-studded post. The union representing agents called the triggerman a hero.
The victim was shot once after he hit the agent in the head with the nail-studded piece of wood that was about 3 feet long and resembled a table leg, said San Diego police Lt. Ernie Herbert. He was about to throw a rock when the other agent fired.
The victim fell on the Mexican side of the fence near San Diego's San Ysidro border crossing, where he died Tuesday night, Herbert said.
Mexican authorities identified the victim as Jose Alfredo Yanez, 40, of Tijuana. Heriberto Garcia, the Baja California state human rights ombudsman, said Yanez worked at a towing company and had a young child with his 18-year-old girlfriend, who is five months' pregnant with their second child.
The Border patrol agents have family also, does that matter to any pos Illegal immigrant trying to sneak into America?
If this POS was worried about his family maybe he should not have been running away from them and attacking a border patrol officer in the process
No Border Patrol agents were seriously hurt.
Calderon wrote on Twitter that he discussed the killing with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at a meeting of regional leaders in Guatemala City.
"I demanded punishment for the guilty," he wrote.
the guilty were punished the little illegal pos was killed for his neglegent stupidity
Mexico's Foreign Relations Department urged U.S. authorities to swiftly investigate and questioned the "use of firearms to repel an attack with stones."
The union that represents Border Patrol agents defended the killing. Shawn Moran, a spokesman for the National Border Patrol Council, said the agent likely saved his colleague's life or spared him serious injury. The triggerman has been an agent for three years.
"The guy's a hero," said Moran. "He's a relatively junior agent, but he showed great poise in dealing with a really bad situation."

Arizona Sheriff Cites Flood of Border Agents Confirming Feds' No-Apprehension Policy
"We have been told that - Apprehensions = failure, we are not 'immigration' officers, we should not 'lower' ourselves to the status of an immigration officer, and our primary job is not apprehending illegal aliens. Couple all this with Secretary Napolitano's recent public announcement about what she expects our apprehension numbers to be this fiscal year, and it's not hard to figure this thing out.”
What a bunch of B.S., It has been kind of obvious over the past few years that the Federal Government does not want to deter Illegal immigration.
Here is the Confirmation on that, and I'm sure it will be said that all this is B.S. also.
What are the benefits to the United States for letting every Illegal Immigrant in?
Somebody is benefiting somewhere, I guess if we were to look at the people who are the extreme Pro Immigration people(The higher up ones) maybe we could find out!
Foxnews
An Arizona sheriff says he has been flooded with calls and emails of support from local and federal agents who back his claims that the U.S. Border Patrol has effectively ordered them to stop apprehending illegal immigrants crossing the U.S.-Mexican border.
“Upper management has advised supervisors to have agents ‘turn back South’ (TBS) the illegal aliens (aka bodies) they detect attempting to unlawfully enter the country … at times you even hear supervisors order the agents over the radio to 'TBS' the aliens instead of catching them,” one San Diego border agent wrote in an email to Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever.
“This only causes more problems as the aliens, as you know, don't just go back to Mexico and give up. They keep trying, sometimes without 10 minutes in-between attempts, to cross illegally,” continued the email, which was among a number of communications to Dever reviewed by FoxNews.com. “This makes the job for agents more dangerous. Not only are the aliens more defiant, they also begin to feel like they can get away with breaking our federal laws.”

Obama: No Arming of U.S. Agents in Mexico
Really, then why the Hell are they going into a worse area then say... Afghanistan for?
Mexico is nothing more than another front on terrorism, more people were killed last year in Jaurez alone than were killed in Afghanistan.
Yet Oblama will not put his foot down and have our Border agents armed when they go to Mexico to assist the Police!
WILL A REAL MAN PLEASE STAND UP AND TAKE OVER THE RUNNING OF AMERICA PLEASE.
Foxnews
President Obama on Thursday appeared to reject the idea of arming U.S. agents in Mexico, saying after a meeting with Mexican President Felipe Calderon that the two governments will look at other ways to protect American officials in the wake of a fatal shooting last month.
"There are laws in place in Mexico that say that our agents should not be armed," Obama said, describing the U.S. role south of the border as an "advisory" one. "We do not carry out law enforcement activities inside of Mexico."
The president's statement answers speculation about how far the administration would go in reforming safety measures in response to the killing three weeks ago of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Jaime Zapata in Mexico. The shooting death raised questions in the U.S. about Mexico's ability to control violence but U.S. officials earlier wouldn't say whether Obama would press the Mexican leader to allow U.S. agents to be armed.
Coming out of the meeting Thursday afternoon, both presidents stressed that U.S. agents cannot be armed. Obama said he was nevertheless concerned about the safety of agents and that they would examine "procedures and protocols" for how to better protect them.

Mexico captures suspects in U.S. agent's killing
It is hard to tell if these people captured are the ones responsible, due to the fact that the Mexican authorities are acting like the suspects did not know that the people they were Shooting at were border agents.
Mistaken Identity my ass, We are talking about the Zetas, Former and current police and military, this is what they do.
whatever Mexico says I do not believe, they are only trying to look good for the Next Check they receive from the U.S. Government.
(Reuters) - A Mexican drug gang killed a U.S. customs agent and wounded another last week after mistaking the officials for rivals, Mexican officials said on Wednesday as they presented several captured suspects.
The two U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were set upon on a major highway near the central city of San Luis Potosi, north of the capital, in one of the worst attacks on U.S. agents in Mexico in more than a decade and a sign of Mexico's worsening drug war.
Six male prisoners accused in the attack were presented to the media on Wednesday and officials named four other detainees -- three women and a minor.
The attackers spotted the agents driving in a dark sport utility vehicle on February 15 and pursued them before opening fire, Mexican prosecutors said.

WTF?
Foxnews
A U.S. border inspector was charged Friday with taking more than $50,000 to wave drug-laden vehicles from Mexico through his lane.
Oscar Osbaldo Ortiz Martinez, a Customs and Border Protection officer since 2008, allegedly took $22,000 in June for allowing a Jeep Cherokee that he believed was carrying cocaine to pass through his booth at the border crossing in downtown Calexico, about 120 miles east of San Diego.
Ortiz, 30, took $30,000 for waving through a Ford Lobo he believed to be packed with drugs on Monday, according to the complaint. He was arrested Thursday after allegedly accepting the money from an informant in a Lucky's supermarket parking lot in neighboring El Centro.
Ortiz, of El Centro, was charged with bribery, conspiracy and attempting to import cocaine and methamphetamine. If convicted of any of those charges, he faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
Victor Manuel Silva, 30, was charged with the same crimes for allegedly taking bribes to facilitate the crossings.
According to the complaint, Silva, also of El Centro, introduced the informant to Ortiz at an El Centro parking lot in October 2009.

Boy killed by Border Patrol agents had several arrests for smuggling immigrants
Agents are generally permitted to use lethal force against rock throwers.
Border Patrol officials have said the agent told the rock throwers to stop and back off, but they persisted and he fired several times.
A federal official familiar with the investigation said Friday there is evidence that Hernandez was throwing rocks at the agent at the time of the shooting.
Case closed ? Probably not , though it should be , but to hear some people talk the Border patrol Agent should be sent to prison nevermind any of the facts of what this kid was doing .
Foxnews
EL PASO, Texas (AP) — A 15-year-old Mexican boy shot and killed by a U.S. Border Patrol agent was among El Paso's most wanted juvenile immigrant smugglers, according to federal arrest records reviewed by The Associated Press.
The records show Sergio Adrian Hernandez Huereca had been arrested at least four times since 2008 and twice in the same week in February 2009 on suspicion of smuggling illegal immigrants across the U.S.-Mexico border. Hernandez was repeatedly arrested along the U.S. side of the border near downtown El Paso, not far from where he was killed, but was never charged with a crime by federal prosecutors.
A Border Patrol agent shot and killed Hernandez June 7 while trying to arrest illegal immigrants crossing the muddy bed of the Rio Grande. Some witnesses said a group of people on the Mexican side were throwing rocks at the agents. Agents are generally permitted to use lethal force against rock throwers.
The records show that in at least one case Hernandez was to be paid $50 a person for smuggling four people into the U.S.
The records also show that in one case, federal prosecutors declined to charge Hernandez because there were no "extenuating circumstances or endangerment."

UPDATE-Mexican Drug Cartel Warns Police Officers in Arizona Border Town to 'Look the Other Way'

It sounds to me like American Citizens were just put on the Cartel Hit List !
I Guess Any Illegal Alien Coming through Arizona Desert Better watch Their Ass's Now that the Border Patrol Will Most definitely Be on Heightened Alert !
And The Cartels , Well Dumbass's this is not Mexico , We Know how to shoot first and ask Questions Later !
Foxnews
Police officers in a small Arizona border city are on heightened alert following a tip that a Mexican drug cartel will put them in its crosshairs if they conduct off-duty busts.
The threat stems from a marijuana seizure made this month by two off-duty police officers riding on horseback in an unincorporated area east of Nogales, a city of roughly 20,000, Police Chief Jeffrey Kirkham told FoxNews.com.
"The word was that these particular officers would be targeted if they were ever in that area again and were not on duty and intercepted any drug trafficking," Kirkham said. "It said they should look the other way."
The unidentified officers were able to confiscate roughly 400 pounds of marijuana during the seizure in early June at a known smuggling corridor along the U.S.-Mexican border where there is "relatively no fencing," Kirkham said. No arrests were made, and the smugglers were able to retreat into Mexico.

US-Mexico tensions heightened after US Border Patrol agent kills Mexican teen near El Paso
See what happens when you throw rocks !
especially when you throw them at a Federal Border Patrol agent !
But of course it was not the rock throwers fault .
Foxnews
CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico (AP) — Mexicans are seething over the second death of a countryman at the hands of U.S. Border Patrol agents in two weeks, an incident near downtown El Paso that is threatening to escalate tensions over migrant issues.
U.S. authorities said Tuesday a Border Patrol agent was defending himself and colleagues when he fatally shot the 15-year-old as officers came under a barrage of big stones while trying to detain illegal immigrants on the U.S. side of the Rio Grande.
About 30 relatives and friends gathered late Tuesday to mourn Sergio Adrian Hernandez Huereka, whose shooting Monday evening came along the border with Texas. He died on the Mexican side of the river.
"Damn them! Damn them!" sobbed Rosario Hernandez, sister of the dead teenager, at a wake in the family's two-room adobe house on the outskirts of Ciudad Juarez.
Preliminary reports on the incident indicated that U.S. officers on bicycle patrol "were assaulted with rocks by an unknown number of people," Border Patrol Special Operations Supervisor Ramiro Cordero said Tuesday.
"During the assault at least one agent discharged his firearm," he said. "The agent is currently on administrative leave. A thorough, multi-agency investigation is currently ongoing."

GOP Reps Offer Bill to Ban Interior Dept. From Hindering Border Agents
It is so rare to hear any common sense out of a politician , that when you do it is a Shock !
But I suspect that all four of these Four (Republican)Congressmen will be labeled racist Hate mongers in no time !
If you secure the border how are all those illegal immigrants going to get here to leach of the rest of us ?
Foxnews
The unknown gunman who murdered an Arizona rancher three weeks ago entered and exited the U.S. illegally in an area where border agents are widely prohibited from using motorized vehicles, constructing roads and installing surveillance structures, federal agents have confirmed.
The development prompted four Republican congressmen to introduce legislation on Wednesday that will ban the Interior Department from using environmental regulations to hinder agents along the border, including at the San Bernardino National Wildlife Refuge, a 2,300-acre parcel near where rancher Robert Krentz was killed on March 27.
U.S. Reps. Doc Hastings of Washington, Peter King of New York, Rob Bishop of Utah and Lamar Smith of Texas say their bill, if passed, will address environmental degradation of federal lands and help close national security gaps along the border, which they say has become an uncontrolled highway.
"Effectively securing our borders against illegal entry is a matter of homeland security," King said in a statement prior to the scheduled 1 p.m. press conference at the U.S. Capitol Visitors Center in Washington. "Border Patrol agents spend every day on the front line, securing our homeland from terrorists. Denying or limiting the Border Patrol access to public lands and allowing the flow of illegals, including potential terrorists, doesn't protect anything."
The lawmakers say internal documents show that the Interior Department and the U.S. Forest Service have consistently and actively prevented Border Patrol agents from securing U.S. borders by requiring Department of Homeland Security officials to complete lengthy and expensive environmental analyses, and even blocking Border Patrol agents from entering some areas.
"As a result, Border Patrol agents are being forced to wade through bureaucratic red tape just so they can do the job Congress has mandated: gain operational control over the U.S. border," according to a fact sheet released by the House of Representatives' Natural Resources Committee Republicans.
Kendra Barkoff, a spokeswoman for the Interior Department told FoxNews.com that Secretary Ken Salazar visited the area last month to meet with land managers and federal, state, and local law enforcement, including U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Homeland Security officials.
She said Salazar places a high priority on working with DHS and other agencies to "meet the twin goals of protecting our national security and our natural resources."

Rancher's Murder Exposes Deadly Gaps in Border Policing, Tancredo Says
Nothing to see here sheeple , moooove along now !
Mexico is a beautiful Country , the people are very friendly , you have nothing to worry about .
Foxnews
Former Colorado Rep. Tom Tancredo, reacting to the murder of a well-known Arizona rancher by an assailant authorities believe was an illegal immigrant, said violence on the border has spiraled out of control and the federal government seems powerless to stop it.
Tancredo, who has called on the Obama administration to deploy the National Guard in response, told FoxNews.com Tuesday that the killing shows how bad the situation has become for Americans living north of the Mexican border.
"The violence on the border is ... getting worse all the time," he said. "This is just a horrible manifestation of it."
Tancredo, a Republican who briefly ran for president in 2008, said gaps in the border fence -- and problems with the fencing that's already in place -- as well as ineffective border patrol are opening the door to the kind of violence that struck Robert Krentz.
The 58-year-old rancher, whose family has lived there for a century, was found slumped over his ATV on his ranch late Saturday. Footprints led back across the Mexican border, and local police say an illegal immigrant probably killed him.
related links
A satellite photo from U.S. Customs and Border Protection shows a gap in the border fence near Krentz's ranch in southeastern Arizona. Tancredo said a small gap in the fence could be manageable, because border agents could "funnel" illegal immigrants into a small area and arrest them. But he said the gap by Krentz's estate is too big and law enforcers aren't working hard enough to catch people crossing over.
"There is not going to be any effective barrier on that border because there is no desire to stop illegal immigration," he said. "They're not using any human resources effectively."
Plus, Tancredo said, most of the fencing that is in place is not strong enough. It's either a single fence or, as Tancredo's Rocky Mountain Foundation noted, a short barrier meant to stop vehicles.
"It doesn't stop people," said Charles Heatherley, executive director of the foundation.
Lawmakers are calling on the administration either to send in the National Guard or to increase the number of Border Patrol agents in the area.
A spokeswoman for Arizona Sen. John McCain said Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has not yet responded to the senator's request for the National Guard to be deployed.
I think Ms. Napolitano , is very busy .

U.S. Border Patrol agent fires gun at people throwing rocks
What are you supposed to do to people who are throwing rocks at you , and don't stop when you tell them too with some pepper spray ?
Let's hope that they use some common sense with this one .
El Paso Times
EL PASO -- A gunshot was fired by a U.S. Border Patrol agent being attacked with rocks thrown from Mexico, an agency spokesman said Wednesday.
Border Patrol spokesman Doug Mosier said the incident occurred Monday evening when an agent near the Bridge of the Americas called for help because a group of people were throwing rocks from the Mexican side of the border. Another agent fired a pepperball launcher, which shoots projectiles filled with pepper spray. But the rock throwing continued. An agent then fired one round from a handgun at the rock-throwers. There were no known injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the Border Patrol and the FBI. The Mexican Consulate in El Paso was also notified, Mosier said.

US border gruards knew pantybomber was on flight 253
US border agents discovered that the pantybomber was on the Customs and Border Protection database only after he was on board and the plane was in the air.
First of all, pantybomber was never suppose to be allowed on the plane since he did not have a passport. But doesn't it make you feel safe that the TSA is only able to identify potential terrorists when they might already by in the air?
Why didn't the TSA warn the flight crew once they knew that a potential terrorist was on board? They could have at least told the crew to be cautious of a certain individual sitting in seat 19A.
From Telegraph
Officials from the Transport Security Administration discovered Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab's name on the Customs and Border Protection database after he boarded his Northwest flight in Amsterdam and were waiting to question him upon landing in Detroit, according to senior law enforcement officials.[...]
The opportunity for detecting a passenger as a potential threat before boarding is limited, a senior Homeland Security official said, adding that in-depth vetting only begins once the flight manifest has been generated, a few hours before takeoff.
If the intelligence on Abdulmutallab had been discovered sooner, the officials said, he could have been interrogated before boarding the flight.

DHS Clarifies Laptop Border Searches
The new rules leave open the possibility that travelers may face penalties for refusing to provide passwords or encryption keys.
Really ? Well I guess that we all should just go along with this !
The Government says this is how it is ! And they , of course , believe they have the Right to do it !
Government Intrusion is way out of control , just read kyros's post about the Obamasiah wanting control over the internet !
Go Ahead ,your more than welcome to Check my Laptop ! If you can extract it from your ASS First!
Info Week Government....
The Department of Homeland Security on Thursday released new directives covering border searches of electronic devices and media, but the government's rules leave open the question of whether individuals can be compelled to provide passwords and encryption keys.
DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano in a statement characterized the rules as an attempt to balance the investigatory requirements for fighting crime and terrorism with privacy and civil liberties.
In February, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to reconsider an appeals court ruling that laptops are like suitcases and can be searched at borders without reasonable suspicion.
Laptop searches remain an unusual event for travelers entering the country. More than 221 million travelers passed through U.S. ports of entry between Oct. 1, 2008, and Aug. 11, 2009, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). These entries resulted in about 1,000 laptop searches, only 46 of which were in-depth.
Nevertheless, the DHS policy of treating laptops and electronic devices as the equivalent of suitcases and backpacks in terms of border searches has alarmed business travel and privacy groups.
About two weeks ago, Nate Cardozo, open government legal fellow at the EFF, asked CPB through its online comment system, "If a CBP agent requests my password or encryption key and I refuse to provide it, will I be denied entry, will my laptop be seized, neither or both?"
Good Question!
The response, from a CPB employee identified as Frederick, was: "There is no concrete answer that can be given to your question since it is hypothetical. The outcomes you listed are possible, although a US citizen would not normally be denied entry. The actions that result from a denial to cooperate with a legal search are dependent on the applicable laws as well the discretion of the officers conducting the inspection."
Typical Bad answer full of Bullshit , from a government Agency !

Bush commutes sentences of former US border agents
Glad to see these two guy's getting out of Jail !!! sure they messed up A little , messing with evidence , O.K. , A stupid thing to do ! But these men never should have seen The inside of a prison !
....
WASHINGTON (AP) — In his final acts of clemency, President George W. Bush on Monday granted early prison releases to two former U.S. Border Patrol agents whose convictions for shooting a Mexican drug dealer fueled the national debate over illegal immigration.
Bush, responding to heavy pressure from Republican and Democratic lawmakers alike, commuted the prison sentences of Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. The two guards from El Paso, Texas, each were sentenced to more than 10 years for the shooting, which they tried to cover up. They will be released within two months.
Opposition to their convictions, sentencing and firings has simmered ever since the shooting occurred in 2005.
It's About EFing Time !!!!!!
Compean and Ramos were convicted of shooting admitted drug smuggler Osvaldo Aldrete Davila in the buttocks as he fled across the Rio Grande, away from an abandoned van load of marijuana. He remains in a low-security prison in Fort Worth, Texas.
The border agents claimed at their trials that they believed the smuggler was armed and that they shot him in self defense. The prosecutor in the case, a U.S. attorney who was appointed by Bush in 2001, said there was no evidence linking the smuggler to the van of marijuana. The prosecutor also said the border agents didn't report the shooting and tampered with evidence by picking up several spent shell casings.
White House officials said Bush didn't pardon the men for their crimes, but commuted their sentences because he believed they were excessive and that they had already suffered the loss of their jobs, freedom and reputations.!!!!
