Mahmoud fuelled his claims that the US government was behind the Sept 11 attack on America and demanded to ‘know the truth of what happened’ during his visit to Lebanon.
Speaking at a late night rally, he said: “I announce that the formation of an independent and neutral team to examine the facts and discover the truth of the September 11 events is the demand of all the peoples of the region and the world.”
Earlier in the day, thousands held up flowers and Iranian flags as Mr Ahmedinejad waved through the open roof of an armoured car that carried him through the Shia Muslim strongholds of south Beirut, the Lebanese capital.
Hizbollah, Iran's local ally, mobilised its followers to throw rice and slaughter camels as the motorcade passed by.
It was, however, a welcome that ran just one street deep and normal life – bereft of Iranian flags – continued yards away from the old airport road used by the Iranian leader to reach a summit with his Lebanese counterpart, Michel Sleiman.

Germans bust Hizbollah cocaine smuggling ring
German authorities have busted a cocaine smuggling ring they suspect is funneling money to Hizbollah.
This is just another example of a terrorist group selling drugs to infidel states in order to raise money for the jihad. The Local
German investigators are uncovering the drug-smuggling business of the Syrian-backed Lebanese militant organisation Hezbollah, moving cocaine from Beirut into Europe via Frankfurt airport.
A report in Der Spiegel magazine this weekend said initial suspicions that Hezbollah was raising funds by smuggling cocaine were raised in May 2008 when around €8.7 million in cash was found in the luggage of four Lebanese men at Frankfurt airport.[...]
The magazine says the suspicion is that family members have been regularly moving millions of euros raised in the European cocaine trade, via Frankfurt to Beirut. Those receiving the money in Lebanon are said to be members of a family with contacts with the highest levels of Hezbollah command including leader Hassan Nasrallah.

Hizbollah to get "an arm and an eye inside the Security Council."
Nothing to see here folks...just another terror organization at the UN. It's par for the course.
<-- Islamofascist Hizbollah supporters.
From Fox News
On Jan. 1, 2010, Hezbollah and its de-facto ruler Iran could have a direct line to the Security Council and gain access to all the confidential information to which Security Council members are privy.
In October the U.N. General Assembly overwhelmingly voted for Lebanon to be the Asian bloc's new non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for a 2-year term.
Earlier today the Lebanese Government endorsed Hezbollah's demand allowing it to keep its huge weapons arsenal. In doing so the Lebanese government is able to maintain its shaky unity government in which Hezbollah, a designated terrorist group by the U.S. state department, holds two ministries.[...]
Analysts point to the influence wielded by the Iranian-funded Hezbollah in Lebanon as a cause for concern over Lebanon's acceptance into the Security Council. Walid Phares, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and Fox News contributor on terrorism, was one of the architects of U.N. Resolution 1559 which passed in 2004 and called for the immediate disarmament of armed militias. Given the new structure of the Lebanese government that now includes Hezbollah, he says the organization will have "an arm and an eye inside the Security Council."

IDF forces discover ship with 100s of tonnes of weapons and ammo bound for Syria and Hizbollah
Special Israeli Defense Forces have uncovered a massive cache of advance weapons on board a cargo ship headed for Syria. The weapons are believed to have been sent from Iran destined for Syria and Hizbollah.
Some of the advanced weapons included anti-aircraft missiles, Katyusha rockets, mortars, grenades and of course AK-47s. Up to 500 tonnes of weapons may have been seized.
From Jerusalem Post
Special Navy forces discovered a massive amount of weapons and ammunition on a cargo ship some 100 nautical miles west of Israel overnight Tuesday after boarding the vessel, which was flying an Antiguan flag.[...]
Hundreds of tons of weaponry were on board in dozens of containers, they said.
A significant amount of 122-millimeter Katyusha rockets, likely made in Iran, assault rifles, mortar shells and grenades were found on board, added the officials.
Israel Radio reported that advanced anti-aircraft platforms never before found in the region were also on board. [...]
According to the officials, the vessel carried advanced weaponry including missiles, and the incident was apparently 10 times in scope to the seizing of the Karine A ship intercepted in January 2002 off the coast of Gaza. That boat carried some 50 tons of military equipment including Katyusha rockets, antitank missiles, and high explosives.

German ship caught smuggling Iranian arms to Syria
US soldiers discovered a German container ship smuggling 7.62 mm ammunition to Syria from Iran. The ammunition was most likely destined for Hizbollah. Currently Germany along with the US, Britain and France are calling for tougher sanctions against Iran in light of their refusal to stop uranium enrichment for nuclear weapons.
A German diplomat was quoted as saying this was "an embarrassing affair". That might be a tad of an understatement. Germany while calling for tougher sanctions against Iran, which threatens to wipe Israel of the global map, is smuggling Iranian arms destined for Hizbollah who's sole purpose is to destroy Israel. Haaretz
American soldiers stationed in the Gulf of Suez discovered containers of ammunition aboard a German-owned cargo ship allegedly transporting the arms from Iran to Syria, the influential German daily newspaper Der Spiegel reported on Monday.
The newspaper quoted a German diplomat as saying that the incident represents "an embarrassing affair" for Berlin, the consequences of which could be troublesome for trans-Atlantic relations.
The ammunition, which comprised 7.62 millimeter bullets suitable for Kalashnikov rifles, is believed to have been intended for either the Syrian army or Hezbollah.
U.S. soldiers boarded the freighter Hansa India, which is registered to a Hamburg-based shipping company known as Leonhardt & Blumberg, according to Der Spiegel.

Hizbollah has 40,000 rockets
Hizbollah has doubled its stockpile of surface to surface rockets since the war with Israel in 2006. Good to see that UNifil did its job of preventing Hizbollah from rearming.
Anyone who knows islamic law could have seen this coming. Any islamic army that agrees to a ceasefire, or hudna is islam, uses the period of calm to rearm and then attack when they are stronger. Times Online
According to Israeli, United Nations and Hezbollah officials, the Shia Muslim militia is today stronger than it was in 2006 when it took on the might of the Israeli army in a war that cost the lives of 1,191 Lebanese and 43 Israeli civilians.
Hezbollah has stockpiled up to 40,000 rockets and is training its forces to use ground-to-ground missiles capable of hitting Tel Aviv and anti-aircraft missiles that could challenge Israel’s dominance of the skies over Lebanon.[...]
Hezbollah’s rearming is in the name of “resistance” against Israel. But the real reason probably has more to do with its ally Iran. If Israel carries out its threat to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, then the main retaliation is likely to come from its Hezbollah allies in Lebanon. Hezbollah is Iran’s insurance policy.
All sides agree that the threat is not a bluff. Last month the scale of the Hezbollah build-up was revealed after an explosion at a huge Hezbollah ammunition bunker in the village of Khirbet Slim, 12 miles from the Israeli border.
Surveillance footage, obtained by The Times, reveals that Hezbollah fighters desperately tried to salvage rockets and other munitions from the site, while obstructions were placed in the way of Unifil peacekeepers coming to investigate.

Hezbollah denied any link with the blasts and attributed them to the detonation of unexploded ordnance.

13 Hizbullah men hiding in Sinai
Many people seem to forget that Hizbollah is one of the largest terrorist organizations in the world. Jerusalem Post
Egyptian police were hunting for at least 10 members of an alleged Hizbullah cell in a mountainous Sinai region on Monday as officials tried to assuage fears over the safety of tens of thousands of Israeli and other tourists in the peninsula.
A security official said police were searching for 13 men, thought to be 10 Lebanese and three Sudanese - part of a 49-member alleged Hizbullah cell that the government announced was plotting to attack Egyptian institutions and Israeli tourists.

North Korea sued for aiding Hizbullah
North Korea [has] become a central player in providing support for Middle East terror groups like Hizbullah.
Looks like Iran's and North Korea's partnership goes deeper than just ballistic missiles. Jerusalem Post
Thirty Israelis who were hurt during the Second Lebanon War filed suit on Friday against North Korea and Hizbullah for more than $100 million in Washington District Court, one of their lawyers, Nitzana Darshan-Leitner of the Israel Law Center, said Friday.
The plaintiffs, all of whom hold US citizenship, charged that North Korea trained senior Hizbullah officers and built a series of bunkers in south Lebanon to store Katyushas and other rockets that the Hizbullah used against Israel during the 2006 war, thwarting IAF efforts to locate launching pads.[...]
In the lawsuit, the complainants cite a congressional memorandum from May 8, 2008 that was passed on to the State Department, which describes one of the structures built by North Korea as "a 25-kilometer underground tunnel that Hizbullah used for moving its fighters."
The memorandum states that "Hizbullah's underground structures significantly improved its ability to fight against Israel during the Second Lebanon War in 2006."
Darshan-Leitner said that North Korea had become a central player in providing support for Middle East terror groups like Hizbullah.

Hizbollah smuggling weapons into Gaza from Egypt
"Nasrallah's admission and the language he used point to Hizbullah's desire to unite Egypt and the rest of the region with the Lebanese resistance movement and its solidarity with the Palestinians, under complicated international circumstances - for the mere sake of satisfying the Iranian interest to occupy the world, as (Teheran) develops its nuclear program,"
Jerusalem Post
Egyptian officials responded angrily to a speech by Hizbullah's leader, in which he admitted that the Lebanese terror group was smuggling arms into the Gaza Strip, and told the London-based Arab daily al-Sharq al-Awsat that "[Hassan] Nasrallah wants to turn Egypt into a playground like Lebanon."
n an article published on Saturday, the officials blamed Hizbullah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah of "dragging Egypt into this situation" by letting his people enter Egypt "for satanic purposes."
"Egypt is not a playground in which others can play. Egypt is not a building without a doorkeeper," the unnamed officials warned Hizbullah.[...]
On Friday night, Nasrallah confirmed that his terror group has been making efforts to smuggle weapons to Hamas through Egypt.

Out: admitting European politicians into Britain. In: admitting terrorist spokesperson into Britain
"This is the deepest hypocrisy, in fact, it is worse than hypocrisy on behalf of the British government.
"The government clearly do not have a grip on this. Britain is still a place where terrorists and terrorist supporters can come to incite and recruit."
Apparently a terrorist spokesperson for Hizbollah will not threaten social harmony. Where's Lord Ahmed and his 10,000 strong muslim gang to protest against this misunderstander of islam?
Thanks to Jihad Watch for the link! TelegraphThe think-tank said the Home Office would be "beyond hypocrisy" if it allowed Dr Ibrahim Moussawi into Britain just weeks after barring Geert Wilders, the Dutch politician, because of his alleged anti-Muslim views.
Dr Moussawi is a spokesman for the Lebanese-based militant group Hizbollah, the military arm of which is banned in Britain as a terrorist organisation.
He has allegedly called Jews "a lesion on the forehead of history" and said of Israel: "Pain is the only language that the enemy understands."
Douglas Murray, director of the CSC, has written to Jacqui Smith, the Home Secretary, warning her that he will instruct lawyers to seek an arrest warrant for Dr Moussawi if he is allowed into the country.

JIDF takes down pro-Hizbollah Facebook group
The JDIF had organized supporters to contact Facebook and notify it of a pro-Hizbollah group. However, Facebook did not act and the JIDF took matters into their own hands. The infiltrated the group, removed the admins, made some changes and started to remove members of the group.
Today the group looks something like this...
Good work guys!

Good News: Hizbollah arsenal has tripled in size
You can thank the UN. TelegraphIn a rare speech to a full parliament in Jerusalem, Ehud Barak, the Israeli defence minister, said that Hizbollah's rearmament programme meant the group now has three times the number of rockets it had in the run-up to the 2006 Lebanon war.
"The firepower of Hizbollah has grown threefold since the Second Lebanon War," said Mr Barak.
"It has missiles that can reach the towns of Ashkelon, Beersheba and Dimona [in southern Israel more than 125 miles from the Lebanese border].
"Today Hizbollah has 42,000 missiles."
The figures supported claims made by Sheikh Nabil Kaouk, a Hizbollah commander, in an interview with The Telegraph in August, when he said the group had built up its military arsenal significantly.
Israel has also indicated that the recent integration of Hizbollah into the Lebanese government has changed the thinking of Israeli military commanders.
Israeli commanders have warned that the integration would justify attacks on government infrastructure in Lebanon in the event of another clash with Hizbollah.

Israeli Businessman kidnapped in Ghana
Could be the work of Hizbollah. A couple of months ago, the Israeli secret services thrawted a couple of kidnapping attempts in western Africa. A travel advisory warned Israeli citizens not to travel to western Africa.
It is believed that Hizbollah has cells operating in western Africa. Reuters ACCRA, Oct 24 (Reuters) - An Israeli businessman has been kidnapped in Ghana and his abductors are demanding $300,000 for his release, a senior security officer in the West African country said on Friday.
National Security Coordinator Sam Amoo told the state-run Ghana News Agency that the Israeli executive, whom he did not identify, was seized on Sunday.
The kidnappers contacted his relatives in Israel, asking for an initial ransom of $500,000, but later reduced their demand to $300,000, Amoo added.
The relatives informed Israel's embassy in Nigeria, which in turn contacted Ghanaian authorities, who were hunting for the missing executive. No more details were immediately available about the kidnapping or the identity of the abductors.

Iran Solidifies Power Over HIzbollah
"There is real Iranian command now over Hizbullah,"
Iran has solidified it's sway over Hizbollah by wrestling executive control of the terrorist group away from Nasrallah. Certain branches of Hizbollah have been incorporated into the Revolution Guards command structure. This means that Hizbollah operations will now take orders from the command of Brig.-Gen. Faramaz Ghasem Suleimani of the al Quds force. Jerusalem Post
....
Reports of Iranian discontent with Nasrallah had begun to surface following the 2006 war, which Teheran reportedly was not interested in at the time. Several reports in the Arab press claimed that Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had ousted Nasrallah from his post as Hizbullah secretary-general and replaced him with Naim Qassem, Hizbullah's second in command. Iran has denied the reports.
"Iranian supervision grew tremendously following the war," the top officer explained. "Nasrallah is still in a decision-making position but Iran's influence has dramatically increased."
A report in a Syrian opposition paper claimed Sunday that a high-level delegation of Iranian Revolutionary Guards visited Beirut last week to coordinate the integration of some Hizbullah branches into the Guards' Al-Quds Force, which is in charge of Iran's terror activities in Iraq, Lebanon and elsewhere.According to the Reform Party of Syria, parts of the Hizbullah operation structure will now be under the command of Brig.-Gen. Faramaz Ghasem Suleimani, commander of the Al-Quds Force. Suleimani is listed by the US as a terrorist and the Guards was declared a terror group in 2007.
The paper claimed that Iran's ultimate plan was to dilute Syrian influence over Hizbullah in case Damascus strikes a peace deal with Israel.
Iran's solidification of its control over Hizbullah is seen as an attempt to direct its military forces in the event of a conflict in the Middle East. If Iran is attacked by the US or Israel, it may now be able to order Hizbullah to retaliate on its behalf.

Russian arms reaching Hizbollah
"Russian arms-dealing has endangered the prospects for peace and freedom in the region (the Middle East),".
I don't think so, I rather believe it is the ideology of islam that has endangered the prospects for peace and freedom. YNet
"Russia has sold advanced weapons to the regimes in Syria and Iran. Some of the Russian weapons sold to Damascus have been channeled to terrorist fighters in Lebanon and Iraq," said Cheney.
The vice president later met in private with Israeli President Shimon Peres on the sidelines of the conference. Cheney added that Moscow was selling the arms to Iran and Syria knowing full-well it is intended for Hizbullah and the terror organizations in Iraq, Peres' aides said.

Hizbollah Spy Allowed to keep Israeli Pension
Azmi Bishara, a former member of the Balad party until he resigned and fled Israel after an investigation into his role in helping Hizbollah in the 2006 war with Israel. Bishara is accused of giving Hizbollah information about strategic locations within Israel for targetting by rockets. He also gave Hizbollah information on rockets that did land to aid with the rocket's aiming. In return, Hizbollah wired large sums of money into Bishara's bank account.
On Monday the Israeli High Court of Justice rejected a petition, started by Danny Danon head the international Likud organization, asking to strip Bishara of his Israeli citizenship and pension. Haaretz
The High Court of Justice yesterday rejected a petition demanding that it strip former MK Azmi Bishara (Balad) of both his citizenship and his pension.
Bishara fled the country after police announced that he was suspected of having given information to Hezbollah before and during the Second Lebanon War in 2006. As a result, he cannot be brought to trial and still enjoys a legal presumption of innocence. In June, therefore, Danny Danon, who heads the international Likud organization, asked the court to strip Bishara of his MK's pension and his citizenship. He also asked the court to order the fugitive tried in absentia.
Israeli Security Services Foils Hizbollah Kidnapping Attempts
Israeli security forces have recently foiled 2 kidnapping attempts by Hizbollah. The thwarted kidnappings were aimed at Jewish businessmen working outside of Israel. The article speculates the kidnappings were to take place in western Africa. However, it could just have easily been in Venezuela.
Recently it was revealed that Hizbollah has recruited Venezuelan citizens to gather information on Jewish businessman for Hizbollah kidnapping squads operating there. Jerusalem Post
....
Two attempts by Hizbullah to kidnap Israeli businessmen abroad in retaliation for the February assassination of Imad Mughniyeh were recently foiled by Israeli security services, government officials revealed on Monday.
Officials refused to divulge additional information but said that the two cases underlined the gravity of the threat Israelis are currently facing overseas. The plots, officials said, were thwarted at advanced stages. While the travel advisory did not focus on a specific country, an earlier advisory had been issued for the West Africa region. Israeli security officials have traveled to various countries in Africa in recent months to personally meet with businessmen and other Israelis living there to warn them of the growing threat.
Channel 2 reported that Hizbullah had cells in West Africa and South America.
