Muslim FBI guard: I'm getting harassed because of my beard or religion or something...give me $3 million

Nothing to see here just another muslim filing a lawsuit claiming racial/religious discrimination.

But what stuck me most is that a 72 year old muslim is a guard for the FBI headquaters for New York City. Isn't a 72 year old man too old to be a guard. It's also a bit worrying that a muslim is guarding the FBI especially after considering the Fort Hood attack. NY Daily News

Daoud Ibraheem, 72, was granted a religious exception for facial hair when he was hired in 2007 by Wackenhut Services, but says the special treatment has triggered harassment by supervisors.

In a $3 million discrimination suit filed in Brooklyn Federal Court, Ibraheem says he is subjected to daily spot-checks by officers from the Federal Protective Service.

They repeatedly insist he must produce a letter written by the imam of his Brooklyn mosque vouching for his faith, the suit says.

Law firm suing Chinese government reports cyber attack from China

An LA law firm representing Cybersitter who is suing the Chinese government for $2.2 billion dollars for copyright infringement has claimed that it's computers have come under cyber attack.

I wonder who's behind the cyber attack...*cough* China *cough* LA Weekly

Gipson Hoffman & Pancione, which is representing Santa Barbara-based CYBERsitter, LLC in a $2.2 billion lawsuit against China that was announced last week, states that malicious emails that can unleash "Trojan" code enabling the takeover of its computers has been sent to some of its addresses. But the company said it's not clear if any of the attempts were successful.

"Beginning Monday evening, attorneys at Gipson Hoffman & Pancione began receiving several targeted customized Trojan emails made to appear as if they were sent by other members of the firm," the organization states. "Unlike ordinary spam or virus emails, Trojan emails are specially constructed to retrieve data from the target's computer and often allow the sender to gain access to the target's computer or to the company's servers. It has not yet been determined whether any of the attempts were successful."[...]

CYBERsitter also came under an attack in summer that appeared to have Chinese origins.

Chinese government hit with $2.2 billion piracy lawsuit

A California software company is suing the Chinese government for $2.2 billion dollars for allegedly stealing over 3000 lines of code from one of the company's software code.

Heh...that's all the Chinese are good at...copying others work. Telegraph

A Californian company claims that China stole its work and used it to create Green Dam, a controversial censorship program that China initially wanted to install on every new computer in the country.

China claimed that Green Dam would help protect children from pornographic and violent content on the internet, but its critics claimed that the program also blocked politically sensitive information. [...]

Cybersitter claims that more than 3,000 lines of its software code were lifted by the Chinese, a finding that was initially reported by independent researchers at the University of Michigan, who also said that Green Dam left users exposed to viruses.

Al Qaeda suspect suing FBI

The ACLU on behalf of Amir Meshal is suing two FBI agents and two other government officials for allegedly detaining Meshal without due process and threatening to torture him.

The first thing that comes out of an arrested terrorist's mouth is torture.
AP

Amir Meshal of Tinto Falls, N.J., says that in December 2006 he fled Mogadishu, Somalia, where he had gone to study Islam, and was accused by U.S. officials who interrogated him in neighboring Kenya of receiving training from al-Qaida.[...]

Meshal is suing two FBI officials and two unknown agents of the U.S. government for unspecified compensation and punitive damages, saying that following his arrest in Kenya, U.S. officials there threatened him and denied him access to a lawyer in addition to making the accusation against him about an al-Qaida link.

Court dismisses muslim bias claim

A muslim high school hall monitor, Fard Mohammed, sued Case high for religious discrimination after he was suspended for 10 days in 2000. The court dismissed Mohammed's claims stating that the school had ample reason to suspend him for 10 days. Journaltimes

A principal's order that a Muslim employee stop wearing a religious hat and ring was not discriminatory because it was never enforced, a Wisconsin appeals court ruled Thursday.

The District 4 Court of Appeals said former Case High School hall monitor Fard Mohammed never stopped wearing the black skullcap known as a kufi and the "pilgrimage" ring and was never disciplined for doing so. That means that no religious discrimination occurred despite then-Principal Bryan Wright's 1998 directive, the three-judge panel ruled.[...]

Court records show Mohammed was fired in 2005 after a series of disciplinary problems, some that stemmed from female students' complaints that he was offering to give them gifts and making them feel uncomfortable.

On Thursday, the court rejected his claim that a 10-day suspension he received in 2000 for leaving work without authorization and other rule violations was religious discrimination. The school district had ample cause for that action, the court found.

Muslim sues judge over order to remove hijab

A 32 year old Raneen Albaghdady is suing a Michigan judge after he told her to remove her hijab in his courtroom. Albaghdady claims that the judge violated her First Amendment right to practice her religion.

Islamic apologists and some prominent islamic groups have claimed in the past that the hijab is not mandated by islamic law. If it isn't mandated that Albaghdady can take the hijab off without violating her religious practices.

But all of a sudden the hijab is compulsory when it is convienent to creep shariah law through the back door.Breitbart

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (AP) - A Muslim woman on Wednesday sued a Michigan judge for telling her to remove her headscarf in his courtroom, claiming he violated her First Amendment right to practice her religion.

Raneen Albaghdady, 32, says she felt humiliated when Wayne County Circuit Judge William Callahan ordered her to remove her hijab at a June 16 hearing in his Detroit courtroom.

"This is the country and the land of freedom, and we're not supposed to be treated like this for the scarf," the Dearborn Heights woman said at a news conference Wednesday afternoon at the Southfield headquarters of the Council on American-Islamic Relation's Michigan chapter, which joined in the federal lawsuit against Callahan and Wayne County.
Always beware when CAIR is involved.
Callahan says Albaghdady, a native of Iraq, removed the scarf without protest and never mentioned its religious significance. If she had, he said, she would have been allowed to continue wearing it.[...]

The suit asks a federal judge to order judges in Wayne County to allow the wearing of the headscarf in court.

Terrorist leader threatens to sue Bruno

Because the interview "mislabels" Ayman Abu Aita as a terrorist leader and Aita had no idea that Bruno was gay.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Seriously, you can't make this stuff up. World Net Daily

Ayman Abu Aita, who is labeled in the movie as a "terrorist group leader," said he was shocked when he learned five days ago the film depicts a homosexual character and contains scenes including full frontal male nudity and graphic homosexual fetish sex.[...]

Aita is a representative of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah party to the West Bank town of Beit Sahor, which is a satellite of Bethlehem. Aita also is a board member of the Holy Land Trust, a nongovernmental organization promoting Palestinian rights and commitment to nonviolence.
More like a nongovernmental organization committed to dishing out cash to pro-terrorist groups.
Aita served in the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades from 2000 until 2003, after which he did a two year stint in Israeli prison on accusations he was involved in shootings against Israeli soldiers operating in Bethlehem. Still, according to Israeli security sources speaking to WND, Aita, while a member of the Brigades, once worked with Jewish state officials to return two Israeli reserve soldiers who had gotten lost in Bethlehem.[...]

Asked if he thought anything was unusual about the way Baron Cohen acted or dressed during the interview, Aita replied, "No. He behaved very normally."

Muslim student sues school for alledged discrimination

The lawsuit jihad.

After reading the article it seems like the school did not single out Omar Elgammal because of his religion. It seems like they singled him out because he's a trouble maker.

The lawsuit is not actually about discmination, it's about scaring other institution into treating muslims differently then every one else. How many other lawsuits have there been like this one? Countless. Canadian Press

Omar Elgammal is suing the Toronto French School, headmaster John Godfrey - who was first elected to the House of Commons in 1993 - and principal Heidi Gollert over alleged remarks at a school assembly denouncing the teen after a fight apparently sparked by racial slurs.

in the defamation lawsuit filed in Ontario Superior Court, Elgammal alleges that on Oct. 23, 2008, a student from another private school was at Toronto French School and insulted Elgammal.

The student "seized" upon Elgammal's Muslim heritage, calling his father "bin Laden," calling them terrorists and saying, "What are you guys going to do, call out, 'Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah?" Elgammal alleges.

Elgammal also says the student then made the gesture of pushing a hand-held detonator. The lawsuit alleges the student had racially taunted Elgammal and another TFS student on other occasions, calling Elgammal's friend's Filipina mother "a maid."[...]

Godfrey, who left politics last summer to take the headmaster job, and Gollert convened an assembly on Nov. 3 and told those gathered that "some of our students" - whom Gollert described as "attackers" - taunted a student visitor to the school and assaulted him, Elgammal alleges.

Godfrey also referenced the Holocaust, apparently using it as a historical comparison for the role the student body should play when faced with the actions of a "thug," "bully" or "bad person," the lawsuit says.

North Korea sued for aiding Hizbullah

North Korea [has] become a central player in providing support for Middle East terror groups like Hizbullah.

Looks like Iran's and North Korea's partnership goes deeper than just ballistic missiles. Jerusalem Post

Thirty Israelis who were hurt during the Second Lebanon War filed suit on Friday against North Korea and Hizbullah for more than $100 million in Washington District Court, one of their lawyers, Nitzana Darshan-Leitner of the Israel Law Center, said Friday.

The plaintiffs, all of whom hold US citizenship, charged that North Korea trained senior Hizbullah officers and built a series of bunkers in south Lebanon to store Katyushas and other rockets that the Hizbullah used against Israel during the 2006 war, thwarting IAF efforts to locate launching pads.[...]

In the lawsuit, the complainants cite a congressional memorandum from May 8, 2008 that was passed on to the State Department, which describes one of the structures built by North Korea as "a 25-kilometer underground tunnel that Hizbullah used for moving its fighters."

The memorandum states that "Hizbullah's underground structures significantly improved its ability to fight against Israel during the Second Lebanon War in 2006."

Darshan-Leitner said that North Korea had become a central player in providing support for Middle East terror groups like Hizbullah.

Muslim duo sues cops for ‘harassment’ over Mumbai investigation

The lawsuit jihad strikes again, this time in India. Indian Express

Two Muslim brothers have approached the Bombay High Court, seeking relief from “harassment” by police authorities for their alleged involvement in the 26/11 terror attacks.

The petitioners, who are into construction and land development, alleged that officers of Manikpur police in Vasai are harassing them at the behest of rival builders.

The brothers, Razak and Mohammed Dokadia, said in their petition that on March 22, the senior police inspector and the assistant police inspector had asked them to visit the police station for an inquiry into their alleged involvement in the terror attacks.
What harassment!
The police said they were acting on an anonymous call and information from Wadibunder Railway Helpline, the petition said.

The police had also gone to the house of Mohammed after the latter informed them that he was out of the city and will be available only on March 24. According to the petition, the police had allegedly threatened Mohammed’s family members.

The petition said when Razak reported to the police station, his statement was recorded, photographs taken and abused in filthy language. A notice was also issued to him for obtaining his signature and fingerprints.

Abu Ghraib detainees can sue Va. contractor

Lets release gitmo detainees into the US and then let them sue everyone from Gitmo! Tampa Bay Online

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) -- A federal judge rejected a defense contractor's claims that it was immune from lawsuits by four alleged torture victims at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.

In a ruling made public Thursday, U.S. District Judge Gerald Bruce Lee rejected claims made by Arlington, Va.-based CACI that it couldn't be sued because its interrogators were performing their duties as the government required. The company also said the case involves U.S. policy issues too sensitive for litigation.

The ruling allows four Abu Ghraib detainees - who were later released without being charged - to go forward with their lawsuit against CACI. The four allege torture and other crimes at the hands of CACI civilian interrogators hired by the Army.

Muslim police officer suing because workmates 'laughed at his beard'

The lawsuit jihad continues in Britain. Daily Mail

A Muslim police officer claims he was forced out of his job by colleagues who made fun of his beard and called him a 'f***ing Paki'.

PC Javid Iqbal, 38, said white officers openly discussed in front of him how they were ' better' than their ethnic-minority colleagues.

The married father of two also claims officers pulled faces at each other if told they had to go out on patrol with him and forced him to walk home from a job instead of picking him up.[...]

He says the first racist incident came in early 2006. He claims he was in a van with seven PCs and three 'tutor' constables - including one other Muslim - which stopped for food at a shop which did not sell halal products. When he asked if they were stopping anywhere else, he was told: 'This is it.'
OMG, what racists. This appears to be an open and shut case. The police department should just settle.
One officer allegedly mimicked his accent and pretended to have a beard similar to his in an ' offensive' incident.

Matters worsened in September 2006 when eight officers presented 'negative statements' to superiors about Mr Iqbal, including an allegation that he failed to help a colleague arresting a violent offender.

He said he was cleared the following June when CCTV showed he was dealing with other people at the time.

But relations with fellow officers hit a new low in February 2008, three months after he officially lodged his grievances. A sympathetic officer told him the document had been left in the duty room where anyone could read it.

Subsequently, he said, an officer had openly referred to him as a 'f***ing Paki'.

Mr Iqbal had only recently returned to work after a nine month leave of absence on full pay owing to depression when he was sacked for poor performance in August last year. He says he was the victim of untrue allegations, such as failing to report a rape claim. He insists the woman complained only of harassment at the time.

Lawsuit Jihad: Muslim woman sues college over veil ban

Suing the Western world to submit to islam. The Local

A Stockholm woman has reported an adult education college in Spånga to the Equality Ombudsman (DO) after being told that she could not wear an Islamic headscarf in class.

The woman was told on January 15th that she was no longer welcome at Västerort Vuxengymnasium, an adult education college in Spånga, if she persisted in wearing her niqab. The niqab is part of a hijab headress and covers the entire face except for the eyes.

The woman has now reported the matter to the Equality Ombudsman (DO) alleging discrimination.

In her report to DO dated January 20th, the woman alleges that she was told that she could not wear her niqab in class or in contact with the school's staff.

The woman explains that the school justified its decision by referring to a recent decision by the National Agency for Education (Skolverket) which banned the wearing of some Muslim headscarves in class.

Judge OKs wiretap suit against the government

Suing us into submission. ARS Technica

A federal judge ruled Monday that a lawsuit filed by an Islamic charity alleging that it was illegally wiretapped by the National Security Agency may proceed, and issued a stinging rebuke to government lawyers who have repeatedly sought to invoke the state secrets privilege to block litigation.

The case, Al Haramain v. Bush, is unusual in that—unlike the Electronic Frontier Foundation's more publicized suits against the NSA and complicit telecoms—the plaintiffs in this case know that the directors of the Al-Haramain Islamic Foundation were specifically subject to warrantless surveillance, thanks to a government blunder that put a classified memo in the hands of the charity's lawyers. An appellate court ruled last year that the secret document had to be turned over to the government, and so could not be used to establish standing to sue. But in an opinion issued this summer, Judge Vaughn Walker, who has been handling a spate of suits concerning the NSA's super-secret "Stellar Wind" program, decided that the foundation could still seek to show they'd been spied upon using public evidence.

Muslim Inmate Sues State Over 'Halal' Meat Requests

Always with the lawsuits. Courant

A Muslim inmate at Corrigan-Radgowski Correctional Center has filed a federal lawsuit, alleging that prison officials ignored his requests for meals that conform to his religious standards.

Ricardo Collins, 27, said he was denied his constitutional right to freedom of religion because his prison diet lacked meat that was "halal," or slaughtered in accordance with Islamic law.

"I am a American Muslim and I am being denied the halal meat for the two Islamic feast days," Collins wrote in the lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court on Dec. 23. "The halal meat for the two feasts have great 'spiritual meaning' to the Muslim community all over the world."

Muslim cocktail waitress sues club over "sexually revealing" uniform

Wearing attractive clothes wouldn't help you Fata Lemes. Telegraph

Fata Lemes, 33, said that she was pestered for sex by customers at the Rocket bar and restaurant in London's Mayfair where waitresses were "treated as prostitutes". She claimed the bar was run "like a sex club".

Miss Lemes, a Bosnian Muslim, told an employment tribunal she had initially worn loose-fitting black clothes to work but claimed that after a week she was ordered to wear a clinging, sleeveless, bright red dress that had a plunging neckline and was open at the back.

Miss Lemes said she tried the outfit on and found it was "physically revealing and openly sexual".

She said: "It was indecent. If you put this dress on you might as well be naked. I did not want men looking at my body.

"I was brought up a Muslim, and am not used to wearing sexually attractive clothes."

Lawsuit filed in defence of Marine vet’s anti-Islam decals

A father of one of the 17 sailors killed in the 2000 USS Cole terrorism attack has been banned from visiting his son's grave at the Arlington National Cemetery. Jesse Nieto, a 25-year Marine veteran, has been banned because of displaying “offensive material" such as decals which say “Remember the Cole, 12 Oct 2000,” “Islam=Terrorism” and “We Died, They Rejoiced.”

“The banning of these decals is political correctness run amuck in the military,” Catholic News Agency

Ann Arbor, Nov 13, 2008 / 06:56 am (CNA).- A Marine veteran whose anti-terrorist and anti-Islam vehicle decals hindered him in visiting the grave of his fallen son at Arlington National Cemetery has filed a federal lawsuit challenging the military order which rebuked his display of the decals.

Jesse Nieto, a 25-year Marine veteran, served two combat tours in Vietnam. His youngest son, Marc, was one of the seventeen sailors killed in the terrorist bombing of the U.S.S. Cole in October of 2000.

Since 1994 Nieto has been a civilian employee at the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. In 2001 he began displaying various decals on his vehicle expressing sentiments such as “Remember the Cole, 12 Oct 2000,” “Islam=Terrorism” and “We Died, They Rejoiced.”

On July 31, 2008, two military police officers ticketed Nieto for displaying “offensive material.”
....
After Nieto refused to remove all allegedly offending decals from his vehicle, the Base Magistrate issued a written order ordering Nieto to remove his vehicle from the base until all decals were removed. The order banned his vehicle from all other federal installations, and reportedly prevented him from driving onto the grounds of Arlington National Cemetery.[...]

“The banning of these decals is political correctness run amuck in the military,” charged Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center. “Our troops are being killed by Islamic terrorists, 9/11 was caused by Islamic terrorists, these terrorists want to destroy America, the Islamic countries persecute Christians, and now the military is victimizing a father whose son was killed by Islamic terrorists while serving our nation.”
