Whats My Issue ?
Being a current Student myself and a former resident of San Diego, a lot.
For the first few semesters of school I had to pay out of my own pocket, I was not eligible for a student loan or any other financial aid !
it was not till I lost my job and had a significant lower income that I was able to receive a student loan, No Grants, no free ride here, I must pay back my loan !
California Gov Jerry Brown, feels it is necessary to afford Illegal aliens (People who are not even residents in this country) every break possible when it comes to an Education.
While residents (People who are here legally, Born and raised by legal parents) Must still get their education the Hard way, Student loans and out of pocket monies.
If you are not a resident of a State, you pay more in tuition, in some cases if you are not a resident of the same county as the school you pay more in tuition, why the hell should anyone not even a legal resident of this country get a free ride ?
To me that is a little backwards, the spin of fairness is not so fair when you are discriminating against another people, Especially the people who pay the Taxes in this country and the people who pay that Jackass of a Gov Jerry Browns Payroll !
It is sad to see Americans thrown under the bus while America is Handed over to another country that can't even take care of its own !

Undocumented students’ access to higher education increased Monday as Gov. Jerry Brown signed part of the California DREAM Act into legislation.
Brown signed AB130, which allows college students that illegally entered the U.S. to receive privately funded scholarships/financial aid. DREAM is an acronym for Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors.
Bill author Assemblyman Gilbert Cedillo, D-Los Angles, was in attendance at the signing during a DREAM Act Town Hall at Los Angeles City College.
“Public education is the lifeblood of our democracy,” Cedillo said. “Public education in this great state and this great nation is the equalizer of our society.”
The legislation primarily applies to AB540 students who are from out of the state or country, graduated from a California high school and attended it for at least three years.
Brown cited California’s rising population and that 50 percent of babies born in California are born into low-income situations as reasons to invest in more educational opportunities.
“Today, signing this DREAM Act is another piece of investment in people, because people are what drive the culture, the economy, the state and our country,” Brown said.

DELANO, Calif. -- A Central California man who was at a cockfight died after being stabbed in the leg by a bird that had a knife attached to its own limb, officials confirmed Monday.
Jose Luis Ochoa, 35, of Lamont, was declared dead at a hospital about two hours after he was injured in neighboring Tulare County on Jan. 30, the Kern County coroner said.
An autopsy concluded Ochoa died of an accidental "sharp force injury" to his right calf.
Sheriff's spokesman Ray Pruitt said it was unclear if a delay in seeking medical attention contributed to Ochoa's death.
"I have never seen this type of incident," Sgt. Martin King, a 24-year veteran of the sheriff's department, told the Bakersfield Californian.
Ochoa and the other spectators fled when authorities arrived at the scene of the fight, King told the newspaper. Deputies found five dead roosters and other evidence of cockfighting at the location, he said.
No arrests were made at the cockfight.

As if the country or the State's of Michigan and California don't have enough stupid ass Problems , now we need to regulate how our food is raised before we eat it !
It may sound nice to give the little calf some room to move around before they are Butchered , but then you don't have veal do you ?
Chickens ? They are just chickens , Ever raise any ? You try to find the damn eggs !
And who the hell cares if a fricken cow gets it's tail Docked or not ?
I don't , but apparently it is an important issue in California !
The funny thing is , both Governors Schwarzenegger and Granholm are originally from other countries , No real point here , Just sayin !

LANSING, Mich.—Michigan's governor has signed legislation requiring farm animals confined in cages to have enough room to turn around and fully extend their limbs.
The bill signed Monday makes Michigan the second state to ban so-called battery cages for egg-laying chickens, the fifth to ban veal crates and the seventh to ban stalls for pregnant pigs.
The cages for hens and stalls for pregnant pigs will go away in about 10 years. The crates for veal calves will be banned in three years.
Animal advocates consider close confinement inhumane.

FRESNO, Calif.—California cows are the first in the nation with the legal right to swat flies as nature intended now that Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed a bill banning the painful practice of tail docking that he once mocked as being a waste of legislators' time.
The governor also signed other farm bills he famously ridiculed this summer as he tried to pressure legislators to focus on balancing the state's beleaguered budget.
In a signing frenzy that lasted until his midnight Sunday deadline, Schwarzenegger also approved a state blueberry commission and new label requirements for honey.
