Attacks by Suspected Insurgents Kill 17 in Iraq
Yeah that country we really tried to help, you know the one that was saying that if the Americans would just leave all the fighting would stop!
Yeah right.
ABC News
Insurgents stepped up attacks around Iraq on Thursday, killing 17 people around the country, including 10 in a bombing attack on a house of two policemen and their families in central Iraq, police and hospital officials said.
At least 190 people have been killed in a wave of attacks by since the beginning of the year, raising concerns that the surge in violence and an escalating political crisis might deteriorate into a civil war, just weeks after the U.S. military withdrawal. Most of the dead in the wave of attacks have been Shiite pilgrims and members of the Iraqi security forces.
Two bombs planted at an entrance to a popular cafe in predominantly Sunni district of Sadiyah in southwestern Baghdad, killing three people and wounding 17 others, police officials said. A police officer was shot dead in the same neighborhood.

Roadside Bomb Kills Dozens in Southern Iraq
Another day another holy Shiite bombing.
Iraq is such a nice place to live now that the U.S. Military are gone, almost daily bombings make it one of the most unsafe places in the world to live right now.
The funny thing is, remember how all reports said the violence would stop once we leave, because we were the Problem? Yeah right, Islam is the problem.
Islam the religion of ethnic and religious genocide against its own people!
The New York Times
Insurgents mounted another vicious attack against Iraq’s Shiites on Saturday, as a roadside bomb was detonated near a group of pilgrims who were marching to a mosque in the southern part of the country to mark one of their holiest holidays.
Around 8:30 a.m., the explosion ripped through a tent where pilgrims had stopped to be fed in the southern city of Basra, killing 30 people, including several police officers at a nearby checkpoint, and wounding dozens, according to local officials.
The pilgrims were marching to a mosque in the city of al-Zubair, just west of Basra, for the last day of Arbaeen, the solemn holiday at the end of the 40-day mourning period for the death of Imam Hussein ibn Ali, the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad. Most Shiites typically make pilgrimages to the city of Karbala, where Imam Hussein ibn Ali is buried. But those who do not have the stamina or time to march to Karbala make a shorter trip to the Khatwa mosque, a Shiite holy site in al-Zubair.
During the past 10 days, insurgents have unleashed a string of attacks on Shiites as they have made pilgrimages leading up to Arbaeen in an apparent attempt to stir sectarian violence amid a month long political crisis that has roiled tensions between the country’s Shiite and Sunni politicians.

Bombs targeting Shiites kill at least 72 in Iraq
Iraq is working on its new future...
One of death and destruction and of course attempting Genocide.
Washington post
A suicide bomber blew himself up next to a large group of Shiite Muslims on a pilgrimage Thursday, one in a series of apparently coordinated sectarian attacks that killed at least 72 people in southern Iraq and in Baghdad.
Security officials said the bombings in two Shiite districts of Baghdad and near Nasiriyah, about 200 miles southeast of the capital, also injured at least 147 people. It was the highest one-day death toll since U.S. troops withdrew from Iraq last month and appeared to be deadliest single day of violence in the country in more than a year.
The bombings coincided with a political stand-off between Shiite and Sunni leaders that continued into its third week. A majority of the Sunni-supported political bloc Iraqiya boycotted parliamentary proceedings Thursday. And while Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, a Shiite, gave another conciliatory speech stressing harmony, his critics said that behind the scenes Maliki is trying to dissolve a political framework established under U.S. guidance that was designed to share power among Shiites, Sunnis and Kurds.

Al-Qaeda-allied group claims responsibility for Baghdad bombings
Al Qaida?
Yes Al Qaida, just in time too, The Fatass of Iraq, Muqtada al-Sadr is piping up yesterday about wanting new elections!
Oh goody, we get to sit back and watch the Circus called Iraq self implode into turmoil all over again (an Al Qaida and Sadr joint effort?)
Washington post
An al-Qaeda-affiliated group has claimed responsibility for a wave of bombings in Baghdad last week that killed at least 65, calling it the “Thursday Invasion” and saying it “knows where and when to strike.”
The group, the Islamic State of Iraq, issued a communiqué on jihadist forums Monday, providing details about one of the attacks, a suicide car bombing that targeted an anti-corruption agency headquarters, according to the SITE Intelligence Group, a jihadist monitoring service. The group did not mention the U.S. invasion, but instead said it was acting against what it called Iraq’s Shiite-controlled government.
“One of the heroes of the Sunnis was able to penetrate through the strong security barricades surrounding this headquarters in the al-Karrada neighborhood,” the communiqué said, calling the headquarters a “despicable den.”
(Yeah They are Despicable, And Al Qaida is the Model of all things wholesome!)

Suicide car bombing kills 7 in Iraq
So for those of you that thought that everything would be normal after the U.S. Military pulled out of Iraq (Mainly because that is what the radical Islamists said) You were all wrong!
The Violence will continue, Al Qaida will rise again along with even more radical clerics to be thrown in the mix; And Iraq will fall into absolute Turmoil.
It is the Islamic way, you can take out their dictators but they will be replaced by even worse individuals.
CBS news
A suicide bomber set off a car bomb Monday at a checkpoint leading to the Iraqi Interior Ministry, killing seven people and injuring 32 others, officials said.
The attack followed a series of bombings last week that killed up to 70 people in a single day, increasing fears about Iraq's future after U.S. troops withdrew this month.
Two police officers said the bomber struck during morning rush hour, hitting one of many security barriers set up around the ministry's building. Five policemen were among the dead, they said.

Baghdad bomb attacks kill at least 60
How nice!
Just goes to show that when left up to fending for themselves, Iraq cannot handle it!
Muslims cannot handle freedom and democracy!
Islam does not allow this, and this should show the world what Islam is truly all about!
We could have stayed in Iraq for ten more years and these asswipes would still lose their idiotic minds the day we leave!
Islam, the religion of complete and utter fucking morons!
CBSnews
A wave of at least 14 bombings ripped across Baghdad Thursday morning, killing at least 60 people in the worst violence in Iraq for months. The apparently coordinated attacks struck days after the last American forces left the country and in the midst of a major government crisis between Shiite and Sunni politicians that has sent sectarian tensions soaring.
The bombings may be linked more to the U.S. withdrawal than the political crisis, but all together, the developments heighten fears of a new round of Shiite-Sunni sectarian bloodshed like the one a few years back that pushed Iraq to the brink of civil war.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility. But the bombings bore all the hallmarks of al Qaeda's Sunni insurgents. Most appeared to hit Shiite neighborhoods, although some Sunni areas were also targeted. In all, 11 neighborhoods were hit by either car bombs, roadside blasts or sticky bombs attached to cars. There was at least one suicide bombing and the blasts went off over several hours.

Sectarian Feud Roils Post-U.S. Iraq
So less than a week after American troops pull out of the Muslim Shithole that is Iraq, look at what is happening...As predicted Iraq will plunge into further turmoil and violence.
They cannot help it, it is in their blood to do this, it is ingrained in their souls; countless years of brainwashing through Islam has prepared them for this.
No one should have expected anything less than what is now starting to happen.
This is Islam.
Wall street Journal
A Sunni-Shiite rivalry threatened on Tuesday to unravel the Iraqi government's fragile coalition, days after the last U.S. forces pulled out, in a resurgence of the sectarian feuding that the Americans tried for years to quell.
Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi, a prominent Sunni Arab leader, taking refuge from an arrest warrant for allegedly plotting to kill prominent Shiites, accused the Shiite prime minister of fabricating the charges as part of a sectarian political vendetta.
The flare-up began with a bid last week by Sunni leaders in Diyala province to win more autonomy from Baghdad through a referendum.
The effort was quickly crushed by days of protests organized by tribes and political parties allied to the Shiite-led central government, with the aid of security forces reporting to Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

Last Convoy of American Troops Leaves Iraq
About time !
I personally was never against the war in Iraq, I believe it was a great service to the Iraqi people, we took Saddam out of power and decimated Al Qaida every chance we could.
Will the people of Iraq understand what we have given them? Hell no.
Will the people of Iraq every pull their heads out of their Islamic Haze in order to live a normal life NOT under control by a Dictator or a terrorist group? Hell no!.
For the most part I think the Iraqi people want normalcy and freedom, but unfortunately for them their religion leads to murder and terrorism and an environment of fear that is inescapable due to ISLAM.
For our Troops I hope they can be home for Christmas, Safe and sound.
Good job and thank you to all of them.
The New York Times
The last convoy of American troops to leave Iraq drove into Kuwait on Sunday morning, marking the end of the nearly nine-year war.
The convoy’s departure, which included about 110 vehicles and 500 soldiers, came three days after the American military folded its flag in a muted ceremony here to celebrate the end of its mission.
In darkness, the convoy snaked out of Contingency Operating Base Adder, near the southern city of Nasiriyah, around 2:30 a.m., and headed toward the border. The departure appeared to be the final moment of a drawn-out withdrawal that included weeks of ceremonies in Baghdad and around Iraq, and included visits by Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta, as well as a trip to Washington by Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki of Iraq.

U.S. Military Hands Camp Victory Over to Iraqis
Good, get this bullshit over with so Iraq can fall back into turmoil.
Foxnews
The U.S. military says it has handed over Camp Victory, a sprawling base at the edge of Baghdad that used to be the headquarters for the U.S. military, to the Iraqi government.
The handover of the sprawling complex of grandiose former palaces of Saddam Hussein, encircled by 27 miles of blast walls, comes as American troops prepare to pull out by the end of the month after nearly nine years.

Iraq bomb, gun attacks kill 17
Yeah, Iraq is not going to be a peaceful place in 2012.
Muslims killing Muslims, that will be Iraq's theme for the new year.
Islam, the religion of "Oh, you don't support Al Qaida, and all other Islamic radicals...We are going to kill you now"
CBS news
Two separate attacks killed 17 people on Thursday in a northeastern Iraqi province that was once an al Qaeda stronghold, Iraqi officials said.
The marketplace car bombing and the assault on the home of an anti-al Qaeda militia leader came on the third day of a visit by U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, in advance of the withdrawal of American troops at the end of the year.
A parked car bomb exploded in the town of Khalis as morning shoppers were starting to arrive, killing 10 persons and wounding 22 others, two police officials said.

Suicide Car Bomber Kills 15 in Baghdad
Violence has ebbed across Iraq since the height of the fighting, but deadly bombings and shootings still occur almost daily as U.S. troops prepare to leave.
The Violence has ebbed, but there are daily bombings?
Uh Yeah, that sounds good for Iraq; you may not get shot or beat to death but you may get your ass Blown up!
Sounds like a nice place to live.
Foxnews
A suicide bomber slammed a car packed with explosives into the gate of a prison north of Baghdad on Monday, killing at least 15 people, Iraqi officials said.
The bombing in the town of Taji, about 12 miles north of the capital, is the third major attack in about a week in Iraq, and raises questions about the ability of the nation's security forces to protect the country after U.S. troops leave in just over a month.
A police officer said the attacker struck the main gate of al-Hout prison at 8:00 a.m. local time, when many employees and guards were on their way to work. Seven policemen were among the dead and the rest were civilians, he added. At least 22 people were wounded.

Multiple Baghdad blasts kill at least 13 people
Iraq is doomed once we leave, I suspect that the remnants of Al Qaida and that fatass Al-sadr will continue their campaign of hate of freedom and democracy.
And the people of Iraq, even though they could rise up and kill all these idiots... they don't.
(Reuters) - Three bombs exploded in a commercial Baghdad district and another blast hit the city's western outskirts on Saturday, killing at least 13 people, police and hospital sources said.
The first blast hit Baghdad's central Bab al-Sharji district followed by two other explosions in a street nearby, in attacks highlighting the fact that violence is still troubling Iraq as the last U.S. troops prepare to withdraw at the end of the year.
A police source said the explosions killed at least seven people and wounded 29 others. Two other security sources said the blasts killed eight and wounded at least 13.
Earlier Saturday, six more people were killed and eight were wounded on the outskirts of Baghdad when a roadside bomb hit a truck carrying construction workers in Abu Ghraib to the west of the capital.

Iraqi Speaker Warns of Neighboring Countries Meddling After U.S. Troops Leave
Limiting Iran's influence in Baghdad was a top U.S. pitch to keep American troops in Iraq past the Dec. 31 withdrawal deadline set in a 2008 security agreement.
Yes, all the smart people in the world understand this, when the U.S. pulls out of Iraq, Insanity Islamic style will ensue.
But really, what are we supposed to do, the Iraq Government has stated that it can not ensure the safety of U.S. troops against their laws; in other words our troops will be subject to prosecution under Iraqi(Sharia)Laws, and that would not be a good thing.
Imagine all the false accusations we hear about in the Islamic world towards their own people and the justice that is served on them (Usually death) now put American soldiers in the mix.
Iraq will fall deeper into silly Muslim land with the help of Iran and other countries, we can do nothing about it; our troops need to come home now before anything else happens to them.
The funny thing is, even the Iraqi people know this; and they accept it.
Foxnews
The speaker of Iraq's parliament on Monday accused neighboring nations of meddling in Iraqi affairs and signaled it will only get worse if the country is seen as vulnerable after U.S. troops leave at the end of the year.
Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi, a Sunni Muslim, did not name the Mideast nations and did not offer specifics. Iraq's Sunnis long have worried about Iran's burgeoning influence in Baghdad, where the Shiite-dominated government has built ties with Tehran since the 2003 fall of Saddam Hussein.
Top U.S. officials, including Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, voiced similar concerns over the weekend.
"Iraq now suffers from points of weakness," al-Nujaifi told a news conference in Baghdad. "If neighboring countries see that Iraq is weak and incapable of protecting its borders and internal security, then definitely there will be interference. This interference does exist now."
Limiting Iran's influence in Baghdad was a top U.S. pitch to keep American troops in Iraq past the Dec. 31 withdrawal deadline set in a 2008 security agreement. Washington has feared that meddling by Iran, a Shiite Muslim theocracy, could inflame tensions between Iraq's majority Shiites and minority Sunnis, setting off a chain reaction of violence and disputes across the Mideast.

All U.S. troops in Iraq to leave by end of year
It is about time, Iraq needs to stand on its own(which it won't) we do need to get out of one of the worlds shitholes.
Things could have been different if this administration and the liberal ass monkeys on the left would have backed the efforts of taking out terrorism instead of blindly supporting it.
So goodbye to Iraq, I for one hope you can stand up for democracy, but watching the world of Islam and seeing how things work; You will fail, and you will embrace the evils of terrorism once more.
SFGate (Or the suck Fest Gate)
President Obama announced Friday that the last U.S. soldier would leave Iraq by the end of this year, drawing to a close a divisive eight-year war that cost the lives of 4,478 troops and defined the presidency of George W. Bush.
The decision leaves only a vestigial presence of Marine embassy guards and liaison officers staying on where more than a million troops, in all, have served. The was has cost more than $1 trillion.
(The SFGate could not suck off Obama any more in their praise for his efforts)

Twin Explosions Rip Through Baghdad, Kill 17
More Muslim Killing Muslim Violence in Iraq.
As time goes on and we see that the people of Iraq Just can not get it together without all the violence and killing and nonstop bloodshed, Why should we stay there and help?
We will never get these Idiots to understand how to work together with their Differences, it is the way of Islam; if you do not like your neighbors views or the area they were born in, you should just Kill them !
It does not matter how long we stay in Iraq, when we leave, the violence will continue.
Foxnews
Two explosions in a Shiite neighborhood of eastern Baghdad killed 17 people and wounded around 50 others Thursday night, Iraqi officials said.
The blasts in the Sadr City neighborhood, coming a day after attacks across the capital killed 25 people, served as a reminder of the lengths to which Sunni militants are trying to go in order to re-ignite sectarian tensions as American forces prepare to go home.
First a bomb went off near a house in a narrow alley in Sadr City, said two police officials. Then as people were gathered at the site of the blast, another bomb went off minutes later. All of the 17 dead were killed in the second, more powerful explosion.

Iraq attacks raise new concerns about U.S. pullout
Ah yeah, Iraq is in for a world of shit when we pull out, and I think they know it.
In another day of Muslim Killing Muslim violence at least 70 dead ! just like the old days of Iraq.
the Los Angeles Times
A series of blasts and gunshots ripped across Iraq on Monday, killing at least 70 people and wounding more than 300 in a spasm of bloodshed that raised fresh concerns that the nation's security forces might be overwhelmed by insurgents when American soldiers withdraw later this year.
The sprawling attacks, including suicide bombers, car explosions and militants firing Kalashnikov rifles, struck from north to south throughout the morning in what appeared to be a coordinated plan. Soldiers, police officers and market shoppers were targeted in Najaf, Kut, Baghdad, Baqubah and other areas.
The violence made for one of the most vicious days in Iraq in months and erupted in the middle of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. The country shook with explosions as families gathered their dead and Iraqis stood shaking their heads beside craters and charred cars in attacks reminiscent of the fighting between Shiite and Sunni Muslims four years ago.
It appeared Iraq was in a time warp, a nation still struggling with terrorists, sectarian gangs and militias at a time much of the Arab world is moving to replace extremism through revolutions for democracy. The violence seemed intent on disrupting the government of Prime Minister Nouri Maliki as U.S. forces are preparing to leave eight years after the fall of Saddam Hussein.

Iraq Deadlier Now Than a Year Ago
To expect a bunch of savages to be civil to each other let alone to a foreign military is beyond comprehension, and a mistake.
You can not change these peoples minds, we give them peace and stability and all they want is death and destruction of their fellow neighbors because they are a different religious sect or from a different town.
The Shiites do not like the Sunnis, the Sunnis do not like the Shiites, they both hate the Kurds the Kurds hate both of them.
This is a good reason to pull out of these Muslim countries immediately after our missions are complete, and let them continue to kill each other off.
It is the Islamic way.
Foxnews
BAGHDAD – Frequent bombings, assassinations and a resurgence in violence by Shiite militias have made Iraq more dangerous now than it was just a year ago, a U.S. government watchdog concludes in a report released Saturday.
The findings come during what U.S. Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction Stuart W. Bowen Jr. called "a summer of uncertainty" in Baghdad over whether American forces will stay past a year-end withdrawal deadline and continue military aid for the unstable nation.
"Iraq remains an extraordinarily dangerous place to work," Bowen concluded in his 172-page quarterly report to Congress and the Obama administration on progress -- and setbacks -- in Iraq. "It is less safe, in my judgment, than 12 months ago."
The report cited the deaths of 15 U.S. soldiers in June, the bloodiest month for the U.S. military in Iraq in two years. Nearly all of them were killed in attacks by Shiite militias bent on forcing out American troops on schedule.
It also noted an increase in rockets launched against the heavily fortified Green Zone in Baghdad, where government offices and foreign embassies are located, as well as constant assassination attempts against Iraqi political leaders, security forces and judges.
Additionally, the report called the northeastern province of Diyala, which borders Iran and has an often volatile mix of Sunni and Shiite Muslims and Kurds among its residents, "very unstable" with frequent bombings that bring double-digit death tolls.

Deadly car bombings hit Diwaniya, central Iraq
More Muslim killing Muslim Violence in Iraq.
again the police forces were targeted, I give those guys credit they keep signing up as they keep getting blown up.
Islam the Religion of blowing people up!
BBC
At least 22 people have been killed in two car bomb attacks in Diwaniya in central Iraq, officials say.
The attacks targeted police barriers outside the compound of provincial governor Salim Hussein Alwan, who was unharmed.
Diwaniya is about 80 miles (130km) south of the capital, Baghdad.
Violence in Iraq has fallen sharply from its peak in 2006, although deadly bombings and shootings still occur on a daily basis.
Most of the victims of the attacks in Diwaniya are reported to be policemen. Dozens more were reported to have been wounded.
