Florida court strikes down Obama's healthcare reform law

So it is Unconstitutional, Obama says to bad!

Thumbing their noses at us Again.

The Times of India
WASHINGTON: A US court in Florida has struck down President Barack Obama's historic healthcare reforms, ruling that the requirement for individuals to purchase insurance is unconstitutional and is too central to making the law function.

The White House termed it as judicial activism.

Giving a major blow to the historic Health Care Reform Act which was signed by Obama last year, the US District Judge Roger Vinson in his judgement ruled that the so-called individual mandate exceeds congressional power.

The whole law cannot stand as the law depends on the mandate to work. "I must conclude that the individual mandate and the remaining provisions are all inextricably bound together in purpose and must stand or fall as a single unit," said Vinson, who on Monday became the second federal judge in two months to rule against the individual mandate.

Sen. Ben Nelson Booed Out of Pizza Parlor

Very funny ,
Maybe the libtards will take a look at themselves and understand that we don't want this huge health care takeover .
Who the hell am I kidding ? these rejects will keep pushing right over us until they are voted out of office .

Foxnews
The news that is not White House approved...

Pie Throwing

You may remember that Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson cast the decisive vote in favor of a government health care takeover after, of course, securing a bundle of money for his home state.

Now it appears that that did not win him any friends in conservative Nebraska. Politico.com reports that Thursday night he and his wife were booed out of an Omaha pizzeria by angry customers who apparently yelled things like, "Get him out of here!"

There may be no consequences in D.C., but it's good to see that the good folks in the Midwest know how to hold their representatives accountable.

Senate Health Bill Imposes $29B More in Taxes

The Finance Committee's top Republican, Chuck Grassley of Iowa, said in a statement: "These taxes will increase insurance premiums and health care costs for individuals and families."

At the same time, they also could mean more revenue to help pay for expanding coverage to the uninsured.

This is one of the biggest problems with the healthcare reform that is about to be forced down our throats !
Not only will the people that do work and support their Families , be slammed with higher taxes and insurance premiums , but our taxes will go to provide insurance coverage for those people who do not work and support their families !

Foxnews
On the tax issue, the Joint Committee on Taxation said in a memo prepared for Finance Committee Republicans that drug companies, medical device manufacturers and insurers would pay $121 billion over 10 years as a result of fees in the committee's bill. That compares with $92 billion originally calculated.

The tax experts said the reason for the change was that the companies wouldn't be able to deduct the fees.

The Finance Committee's top Republican, Chuck Grassley of Iowa, said in a statement: "These taxes will increase insurance premiums and health care costs for individuals and families."

At the same time, they also could mean more revenue to help pay for expanding coverage to the uninsured.

The industry fees are separate from a proposed new tax on high-value insurance plans that's also in the Finance Committee bill.

The committee, the last one in Congress yet to act on sweeping health care legislation, had planned a final vote for this week but has been waiting for a more complete set of calculations from the Congressional Budget Office.

Tuesday's tax report didn't shed light on the total cost of the bill, which stood at under $900 billion over 10 years going into a two-week drafting session that ended this past Friday. Dozens of amendments were added during the session, some making substantial changes, so senators want to see where that leaves the price tag of the bill before they go to a final vote.

That figure could be available as early as Wednesday, according to Finance Chairman Max Baucus, D-Mont. Baucus has a 13-10 Democratic majority on the panel so the outcome is hardly in question, though the margin may be.

" What about people like me who have a decent job but still can not "Afford" Healthcare for my Family ? I guess I still get screwed , as long as some dead beat reject gets healthcare for free , I guess it will be O.K. !?!?!?"

thanks again Washington !

You are Un-American !

Have you voiced your opinion against the Socialistic health care reform issue ?
Nancy Pelosi has a few words for you !

Pelosi Calls Health Care Critics 'Un-American'

Sorry Comrade Speaker But you are out of your Retarded Mind !
I Know I have the right to speak up when I feel the need !
You Miss Ignorant Queen of the Dumocrats ! WORK FOR US !
Without our tax Dollars you would not be getting paid the outrageous amount of money you are for sitting on your ASS !
It is Un-American For you to hold one of the Highest offices in the Country , And run your smarmy mouth about Us The People whom you work for , the People you are paid to listen to !
The people who actually make this country move !

Fox News
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi turned the health care debate up a notch Monday, penning a column along with her top deputy that questioned the patriotism of those disrupting town hall meetings to air their complaints.

Pelosi and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer claimed such behavior is "simply un-American."

It's hardly the first time Pelosi, who earlier this year accused the CIA of lying to Congress and repeatedly has called Republicans unpatriotic, has employed some serious name-calling to characterize her opponents' views.

The jab Monday drew swift scorn from Republicans and critics who say the health care demonstrations are as American as apple pie.

"I, like most Americans, would find that kind of characterization of citizens exercising their First Amendment rights to be offensive," Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind., told FOX News. "There's nothing more American than letting your elected representatives know how you feel about important issues facing the nation."

Comrade Pelosi , you may take your Communist influenced health care and Shove it !
I as an American Do not want to be force fed Your Bullshit !

A Letter to flag@whitehouse.gov

Rush Limbaugh......Is right about you. The fact that you would have the American people reporting each other to their elected officials simply for expressing their rightful opinions is vile and contemptible. Your proposed healthcare plan carries many sections that clearly violate God-given rights, such as care for potentially fatal illnesses along with fertility and pre-natal care. Sections involving government officials telling American people how to raise their children are equally disgusting.

Completely free of sarcasm, and with full sincerity, a better way to ensure that American children are raised properly is to end the crutch of permanent welfare and to crack down on those who shirk on their child support responsibilities. Re-introduce responsible parents by removing government dependency. But of course, dependency on the government is what is wanted by most liberal politicians, right?

It is time that you, the government, gave back the power to the PEOPLE of America, and stopped thinking that you know what is best for us. You were, believe it or not, citizens once, just like us. "Were" being the stressed word, as you lied, bribed, and wormed your ways into office to empower yourselves and those as selfish as you are. Create a dependency on the government for the people, and of course you'll always be in power. Take away options, and solutions, and what's left? Why, the government! Of course, without the people to begin with, there would not BE a government. What's going to happen when the people, as they have already begun, figure out what is going on in Washington D.C.? They will demand the rights they are promised by the Constitution of the United States of America be given back to them, because that is what they are. Rights. Not privileges, not rewards, they are rights. And the left-wing government is taking them away step by step, right by right.

Admittedly, I (though I cannot speak for Colin, my fellow writer) can't say that I ever wanted Obama to outright fail. He was elected the President, and whether I believed in (which I didn't) what he stood for, or said he stood for, it was time for that to be beside the point. It was time to rally, and give him support, and hope that he acted in the best interests of the country. Unfortunately, (and we both agree on this point) he has done absolutely nothing for the good of the country. He has lied, deceived, fear-mongered, and employed double standards time and time again to try and ensure that both he and his colleagues have ultimate power.

For far too long have the American people been under the rule of a congressional system that was never supposed to have this level of rule. The American people were supposed to have officials that worked for a living, not officials that vote themselves pay raises and receive unlimited taxpayer-funded pensions for even the minimal service in office. We were promised statesmen and were given politicians.

That being said, the American people are the only people to blame for allowing such rampant and irresponsible leftism into our country. However, doubt not that your reign stands on the edge of exposure. Start working for the people (and not working the people), or you may face the renowned and legendary wrath and individualism of the American people. That is not meant to be taken as a threat. Simply an observation. Our collective lack of foresight and enlightenment allowed your rise to power, and our collective growth of foresight and enlightenment can easily strip it from you. (So as to null any thoughts of us threatening our glorious leaders, we want to re-iterate that we are referring to peaceful protest and the elections of 2010 and 2012, not violent revolution.)

Fully realizing that we will be called nothing more than rabble-rousers at worst, and right-wing "extremists" at best, we submit this letter in an effort to organize thoughts and ideas, emotions and ideals being echoed all across our great, albeit threatened, country by both Democrats, Independents, and Republicans alike. We, and others, fully realize that we could be, and have been, persecuted for our beliefs (nay, for our HOPE) that we, and others, dare to speak out loud against this transparently socialist regime. Yet we will do so. Not for fame, or attention, but for love of our country. We, and others, do so as patriots and not as antagonists. We, and many others, do so as free men, and not as sheep. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sincerely,

Colin Paul William Weaver, and Kyle Tyler-Ash Lowry, American citizens.

P.S. We are not, nor have ever been, a part of any "unruly mob". We are not, nor have ever been, on the payroll of any special interest group or political party. We wish we could say the same for you.

P.P.S You should be glad this letter is as short as it is. Our list of grievances by no means ends here.

P.P.P.S. Despite our calm approach to the writing of this letter, we are madder than hell.
