More Terrorist ties to Pakistan.
Maybe Pakistan needs more money to stop this trend ?
Dawn.com
BANGKOK: Police in Thailand said Wednesday they had arrested 15 Pakistani nationals involved in suspicious fundraising activity and were investigating possible links to a terrorist organisation.
A bank in the southern province of Yala alerted authorities after one of the suspects tried to transfer money to a person in Pakistan on a blacklist “related to a terrorist group”, said Police Colonel Piyawat Chalermsri.
The detainees, who have been charged with working illegally, said they came to Thailand in September to raise funds to help flood victims in Pakistan.
“We haven't found any link or evidence related to terrorism yet but as this area is very sensitive we will investigate further,” said Piyawat.

Thailand seizes arms on plane from North Korea
BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thai authorities seized more than 35 tons of arms from a cargo plane they said had come from North Korea, and arrested its five crew members after the aircraft made an emergency landing at a Bangkok airport.
Interesting is this , As North Korea hints at getting back to Nuclear disarmament talks , We find that they are supplying arms to Possibly Pakistan ? WTF !
About 35 tons of arms , you have to wonder who is Buying them , I don't think the Taliban or Al Qaida is capable of receiving a Shipment like this , But would not put it past them to try !
And if Pakistan is the one purchasing them , then I would think there be a problem in the works .
Seeing as how we are Giving Pakistan About 3.5 Billion in a Handout , I Mean Aid , at the same time a large shipment of arms is Captured in Thailand With a Destination of ???
Coming from North Korea , Who has Severe sanction against doing so !
Government spokesman Panitan Wattanayagorn told Reuters on Saturday the action was taken after the plane landed at Don Muang airport and "suspicious" cargo was found on board.
"We have detained five crew. But we can't confirm where the plane is heading to. Roughly, the destination is in Asia, probably South Asia, and the plane came from North Asia," he said.
Monthon Sutchukorn, a deputy spokesman for the Thai air force, said the plane had departed from North Korea but had no further details.
An air force official involved in the inspection, who declined to be named, said the Thai authorities had been asked by the United States to investigate the plane and its cargo.
"We were approached by the United States, seeking our cooperation to examine the suspected plane. It came from North Korea and was heading for somewhere in South Asia, probably Pakistan," the official told Reuters.
North Korea has been hit with fresh United Nations sanctions to punish it for a nuclear test in May. These are aimed at cutting off its arms sales, a vital export item estimated to earn the destitute state more than $1 billion a year.
The North's biggest arm sales come from ballistic missiles, with Iran and other Middle Eastern states being customers, according to U.S. government officials.
The Thai authorities did not say what type of weaponry had been found on the plane.
The U.N. sanctions and the cut-off of handouts from South Korea have dealt a heavy blow to the North, which has an estimated GDP of $17 billion, and may force it back into nuclear disarmament talks in the hopes of winning aid, analysts said.
Media reports said the plane had initially sought permission to land at Bangkok's main Suvarnabhumi international airport but had been diverted to the capital's second airport, Don Muang.
Local media said four of the crew members were from Kazakhstan and one from Belarus.

Two Muslim village chiefs killed in Thai south
It has been a event filled past few days for muslims in charge !
Baitullah Mehsud , Killed last wednsday , then at or around a meeting to elect his successor , two of the three possibilities were both killed in a gun fight ! (ha,ha) , and now we have these two !
maybe Muslims should take a real big look at how they are , and as to why everyone wants to kill them lately !
....
YALA, Thailand (Reuters) - Two Muslim village leaders were killed in drive-by shootings in Thailand's restive southernmost provinces, police said Sunday.
The attacks took place at the weekend in Yala and Pattani, two of the three mainly Muslim provinces in predominantly Buddhist Thailand, which have been plagued by five years of separatist violence.
Gunmen on a motorcycle killed an assistant village chief in the Muang district of Yala early Sunday, police said.
Late Saturday, a village headman was shot dead in front of his home in Yaring, Pattani by unknown assailants riding in a pickup truck armed with M-16 assault rifles.
The attacks came during a two-day visit to the region by Bangkok-based diplomats from member countries of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), the world's largest Muslim body, which has criticized Thai security forces for their handling of the conflict.
The OIC demanded an end to attacks on Muslims after 11 were shot dead while praying in a mosque in southern Thailand in June.
Close to 3,500 people have been killed since 2004 in Thailand's deep south. The 30,000 troops deployed to the region, which was once an independent Malay-Muslim sultanate, have made little progress toward quelling the unrest.

Thai islamic terrorists recruit from madrassas
Surprise, surprise. Reuters
BANGKOK, June 22 (Reuters) - Militants in Thailand's deep south are using Islamic schools to recruit fighters for an armed ethno-nationalist struggle against the Thai state, according to a report released on Monday.Talk about Orwellian doublespeak. Thai muslims are attacking non-muslims, demanding shariah law and recruiting from islamic schools but some NGO says the conflict is not related to religion or more specifically islam.
In a 20-page study, the International Crisis Group (ICG) said the near-daily attacks in Narathiwat, Yala and Pattani provinces were part of a separatist struggle that had no links to radical Islamist groups or a global jihadi movement.
"The classroom is the point of first contact," the report said.Jihad, devout muslims, madrassas.....nope nothing to do with islam. It's just a struggle to maintain their identity. But tell me when did the Thai Buddhists try to forcefully deny these muslims their identity?
"Recruiters invite those who seem promising devout Muslims of good character who are moved by a history of oppression, mistreatment and the idea of armed jihad to join extracurricular indoctrination programmes in mosques or disguised as football training."

Budhist beheaded, another shot in Thailand's muslim south
ROPMA alert. Reuters
YALA, Thailand, June 15 (Reuters) - Suspected separatists beheaded a rubber tapper and shot dead a school janitor, both Buddhists, in the latest violence in Thailand's Muslim south, police said on Monday.
The attacks took place in Yala and Pattani, two of the three Malay Muslim provinces where 29 people have been killed and more than 50 injured in the past 10 days, among them soldiers, teachers and Buddhist monks.
The body and severed head of the rubber tapper was found in a house next to a plantation in Yala's Than To district. That added to more than 40 beheadings in the region since violence erupted in 2004.
The school janitor was shot dead by unknown gunmen while travelling to work on his motorcycle in Pattani, police said.

Thai Underwater Cargo Mystery Deepens
and it would also ruin any evidence that could be left , that could be used against whoever did this !
The Epoch Times
Eight mysterious containers rumored to be full of human remains found
off the coast of the Gulf of Thailand will be kept underwater for
further investigation to determine their origin.
"Lifting the
containers from the sea is ruled out because it will cost a lot of
money, but we will be looking for the safest way to cut open the
containers underwater,” Pornthip Rojanasunan, director of Central
Institute for Forensic Science (CIFS), told The Nation.
Ms.
Rojanasunan is head of a team of forensic experts looking into the
issue after claims that human remains were found near one of the
containers in Sattahip District, Chon Buri Province.
Following
news reports of fishermen finding human bones in the ocean, a survey
was conducted by CIFS and the Thai Navy. Officials confirmed the
discovery of the containers on May 15. However, no human remains were
found in the vicinity.
Since then rumors have circulated
that the bodies of protesters from a violent crackdown in May 1992—the
so-called Black May incident—are inside the containers. The Black May
incident resulted in over 50 deaths, along with injuries and
disappearances of hundreds of protesters.
The families of those missing immediately appealed to Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to investigate further.
The prime minister stated in his weekly televised address that test
results indicate the containers may have been under water for more than
20 years, which would rule out the possibility of any relation to Black
May.

India. Pirate 'mothership' was fishing boat
WhoopsCanada.comThe pirate "mothership" destroyed by the Indian navy in the Gulf of Aden was a hijacked Thai fishing boat and its crew was tied up below decks. The vessel, which was sunk by INS Tabar, an Indian frigate, on the night of Nov. 18, was the Ekawat Nava 5, a deep-sea trawler, rather than a floating pirate armoury loaded with supplies of ammunition and explosives, as India had claimed. Wicharn Sirichaiekawat, the manager of the Bangkok-based Sirichai Fisheries, the ship's owner, said the facts emerged when one of his crew was found alive, adrift in the Indian Ocean. He said 14 others were still missing and at least one was confirmed dead.

State official beheaded in Thai Muslim south
A Buddhist state official was shot and beheaded by muslim terrorists in Thailand's restive south.
A lot of followers of the religion of peace sure do misunderstand it.International Herald Tribune
Separatist militants shot dead and beheaded a Buddhist state official in Thailand's Muslim south on Tuesday, police said, the latest death in 57 months of insurgency in which more than 3,100 people have died.
Police found 29 spent M-16 bullets around the pickup truck of the victim, identified as 26-year-old Attapong Gonlom, after at least two gunmen opened fire on him at a school in Pattani, one of four southern provinces hit by the violence.
"After the attack, the gunmen dragged his body out of the truck and chopped his head off, to the horror of students and teachers," a police incident report said.
The incident pushed the number of people decapitated in the Malay-speaking region to 34, a Reuters calculation based on police data and newspaper reports showed.
