Authorities say the ring virtually monopolized smuggling routes along an 80-mile section of the Arizona-Mexico border from Yuma to just east of the small Tohono O'odham Nation town of Sells.
Yep, not a reason in the world to worry about Illegal Immigration or a secure border, just nothing to see here dumbass's move along...
Actually more reason to have an armed Military presence along the border with explicit orders to shoot and kill!
Its a tough way to go, just consider it a "No GO Zone"
Foxnews
Arizona authorities have disrupted a Mexican drug cartel's distribution network, arresting dozens of smugglers in dismantling a ring responsible for carrying more than $33 million worth of drugs through the state's western desert every month, officials said Monday.
The ring is believed be tied to the Sinaloa cartel -- Mexico's most powerful -- and responsible for smuggling more than 3.3 million pounds of marijuana, 20,000 pounds of cocaine and 10,000 pounds of heroin into the U.S. through Arizona over the past five years, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Their efforts in that time generated an estimated $2 billion, according to ICE

Border Patrol finds guns, explosives on Rio Grande
A nice little stash for the cartels, must have been planning a nice little death party somewhere.
El Paso Times
Border Patrol agents have found a bag full of assault rifles, other weapons and what they believe to be plastic explosives hidden near the community of Fronton along the Rio Grande.
The agency says its agents were on patrol in Fronton, a rural area about 250 miles south of San Antonio Tuesday when they found a black bag hidden in the brush near the river. Inside there were six assault rifles, one grenade launcher, one rocket launcher, 20 ammunition magazines and three packages of what appeared to be the plastic explosive known as C-4.

Mexican police cross into US
Nothing to see here, those were not Mexican Federal Police you saw crossing into the United States, move along.
ElPasoTimes
Mexican federal police momentarily crossed the Rio Grande into the United States on Thursday morning in an incursion under investigation by both countries, a U.S. Border Patrol spokesman said.
The incursion occurred east of the Zaragoza Bridge while three hunters were on the U.S. side on the first day of dove season.
Channel 9-KTSM reported a relative of the hunters told the station that gunmen in Mexico fired at the hunters and that the gunmen crossed the border and stole their chairs.
Border Patrol spokesman Doug Mosier said border agents and Texas Parks and Wildlife officers responded immediately. There were no reported injuries.
Agents arriving at the scene saw Mexican federal police crossing the river back into Mexico after they had been on the U.S. side, Mosier said.

Mexico: 500 migrants found in trucks in Chiapas
Just think, How many of these ever got through to the U.S.?
But hey don't worry about it the Obama and the napolitano have it under control.
BBC
More than 500 illegal migrants have been discovered crammed into the trailers of two trucks heading from Mexico towards the US.
The 513 migrants, from Latin America and Asia, were were found travelling in "inhumane" conditions, police said.
Four people accused of smuggling the migrants were arrested, officials said.
The discovery, made in Mexico's southern Chiapas state, is one of the biggest cases of suspected human trafficking, police say.
The migrants were discovered using X-ray equipment at a checkpoint, about to be smuggled illegally into the US, police said.
They travelled for hours clinging to nets strung inside containers, according to the AP news agency.
Though there were holes for air punched in the floors of the containers, the migrants lacked air and water, they told AP.
"We were suffering, it was very hot and we were clinging to the ropes," one Honduran migrant said.

Arizona Sheriff Cites Flood of Border Agents Confirming Feds' No-Apprehension Policy
"We have been told that - Apprehensions = failure, we are not 'immigration' officers, we should not 'lower' ourselves to the status of an immigration officer, and our primary job is not apprehending illegal aliens. Couple all this with Secretary Napolitano's recent public announcement about what she expects our apprehension numbers to be this fiscal year, and it's not hard to figure this thing out.”
What a bunch of B.S., It has been kind of obvious over the past few years that the Federal Government does not want to deter Illegal immigration.
Here is the Confirmation on that, and I'm sure it will be said that all this is B.S. also.
What are the benefits to the United States for letting every Illegal Immigrant in?
Somebody is benefiting somewhere, I guess if we were to look at the people who are the extreme Pro Immigration people(The higher up ones) maybe we could find out!
Foxnews
An Arizona sheriff says he has been flooded with calls and emails of support from local and federal agents who back his claims that the U.S. Border Patrol has effectively ordered them to stop apprehending illegal immigrants crossing the U.S.-Mexican border.
“Upper management has advised supervisors to have agents ‘turn back South’ (TBS) the illegal aliens (aka bodies) they detect attempting to unlawfully enter the country … at times you even hear supervisors order the agents over the radio to 'TBS' the aliens instead of catching them,” one San Diego border agent wrote in an email to Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever.
“This only causes more problems as the aliens, as you know, don't just go back to Mexico and give up. They keep trying, sometimes without 10 minutes in-between attempts, to cross illegally,” continued the email, which was among a number of communications to Dever reviewed by FoxNews.com. “This makes the job for agents more dangerous. Not only are the aliens more defiant, they also begin to feel like they can get away with breaking our federal laws.”

Body count from mass graves in Mexico rises to 145
Sixteen police officers are arrested for allegedly providing cover to drug-cartel gangsters suspected in the slayings. The graves were found near the northern Mexico town of San Fernando, where the arrested officers worked.
Don't worry Mexico Is safe, it's not like the police are involved in any wrong doings, like killing people!
The newspaper Reforma reported Friday that there are 400 unclaimed suitcases at bus depots in the route's final destination city of Matamoros.
So 400 at this bus depot, that's 255 more bodies they have not found yet!
and this is just one bus depot! buses are a major way of travel throughout Mexico.
Not a big deal though, this stuff doesn't happen by the border or anything like that!
The Los Angeles Times
The number of bodies pulled from mass graves in northeastern Mexico has risen to 145, officials said Friday, following the arrest of 16 police officers for allegedly providing cover to drug-cartel gangsters suspected in the grisly slayings.
Morelos Canseco, a senior government official for the state of Tamaulipas where the clandestine burials were discovered, said another 23 bodies were extracted Thursday. Unlike the previous victims who are thought to be passengers kidnapped recently from buses, the latest corpses had apparently been buried for a much longer time, Canseco said in a radio interview.
Canseco said none of the bus companies whose passengers were kidnapped ever informed authorities about the crimes. The newspaper Reforma reported Friday that there are 400 unclaimed suitcases at bus depots in the route's final destination city of Matamoros.

Federal Agents Told to Reduce Border Arrests, Arizona Sheriff Says
I'm pretty sure this will get hushed in the media, but I can fully believe this is going on.
I have never understood why there is such a push to import people from another country, into the United States, it makes no sense.
But it happens, so many politicians that make the laws in this land want more than anything any Mexican that wants to come to the U.S. to go ahead and do so.
I don't know what the benefits of taking on another countries people are, while the whole time the Citizens who live here now are looked upon like third world citizens.
Foxnews
An Arizona sheriff says U.S. Border Patrol officials have repeatedly told him they have been ordered to reduce -- at times even stop -- arrests of illegal immigrants caught trying to cross the U.S. border.
Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever told FoxNews.com that a supervisor with the U.S. Border Patrol told him as recently as this month that the federal agency’s office on Arizona's southern border was under orders to keep apprehension numbers down during specific reporting time periods.
“The senior supervisor agent is telling me about how their mission is now to scare people back,” Dever said in an interview with FoxNews.com. “He said, ‘I had to go back to my guys and tell them not to catch anybody, that their job is to chase people away. … They were not to catch anyone, arrest anyone. Their job was to set up posture, to intimidate people, to get them to go back.”
Dever said his recent conversation with the Border Patrol supervisor was the latest in a series of communications on the subject that he has had with various federal agents over the last two years. Dever said he plans to relay the substance of these conversations when he testifies under oath next month before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.
“I will raise my hand to tell the truth and swear to God, and nothing is more serious or important than that,” he said. “I’m going to tell them that, here’s what I hear and see every day: I had conversation with agent A, B, C, D and this is what they told me.”

National Guard troops to leave Mexico border in June
Why not it is safer than it has ever been Right?
So No problem ! Move along Sheeple.
USA Today
WASHINGTON — National Guard troops that have helped beef up security along the southwestern border since last summer will leave as planned by the second week of June, the commander of the Arizona Guard told a House panel Tuesday.
Maj. Gen. Hugo Salazar, adjutant general of the Guard in the state, said that the mission has gone well and that his troops have helped the Department of Homeland Security monitor the border and gather intelligence against the transnational crime cartels that smuggle drugs, weapons and cash across the border.
Matt Chandler, a spokesman for Homeland Security, said Tuesday that soldiers have helped seize over 14,000 pounds of drugs and apprehend 7,000 illegal immigrants. He said the southwestern border today has more enforcement manpower and technology than ever, much of which has been added while the National Guard has been assigned there.

Hezbollah Working with Cartels
"Mexico knows the seriousness of a cartel connection with Hezbollah and the threat to their national security."
One more reason to secure the border, but we need to get the Obama administration to admit to the problem.
So what is it going to take?
More murdered Border Agents, how about more murdered Americans?
Hezbollah running some operations with and training the cartels, Hezbollah crossing into the U.S. from Mexico.
Move along people, its nothing for you to be concerned about.
Foxnews
My military and Department of Homeland Security contacts are insistent...it's not if Hezbollah operatives have been smuggled into the U.S....but how many? They note that drug tunnels are becoming much more sophisticated and striking similar as tunnels being used by terror organizations to smuggle weapons into the Gaza Strip. My contacts also say they have real concern that bombing techniques used in the Middle East to promote terror are now also being used inside Mexico, as the cartels war with each other and anyone in their way.
This comes as Mexican authorities busted a senior Hezbollah operative who employed Mexicans nationals with family ties to Lebanon to set up the network, designed to target Israel and the West, according to multiple reports. The man's name is Jameel Nasr and he was arrested after a Mexican surveillance operation revealed that he traveled frequently to Lebanon to receive information and instructions from Hezbollah commanders and he also spent several months in Venezuela working with the terror group and Hugo Chavez's people. American security contacts say the Mexican operation was impressive and they are seeing some increased pressure on the cartels from Mexican authorities and thus...their friends.
Meantime, over this past weekend President Calderon of Mexico sent a significant number of troops to the border regions and while they are there to help battle the cartels, they have also been sent to deal with the growing connection to Hezbollah. As one contact told me, "Mexico knows the seriousness of a cartel connection with Hezbollah and the threat to their national security."

Arizona Rancher Will Fight Court Order To Pay Damages to Undocumented Immigrants
WHA WHA WHAT!
You have got to be Kidding me.
I only hope that Mr. Barnett, refuses to pay this fine.
What other Bullshit is going to come out of the Fiasco that is the U.S. Border.
Foxnews
An Arizona rancher who was ordered to pay nearly $90,000 in punitive damages to undocumented immigrants he confronted, with a gun, is going to request a rehearing, his attorney said.
“We’ll be filing a motion for a rehearing,” said David T. Hardy, who is representing Roger Barnett. “He feels he got screwed. I have some sympathy for that view.”
The U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals last week upheld a lower court verdict ordering Barnett to pay the damages for the 2004 incident, in which the plaintiffs claimed that he approached them with his dog and said he’d shoot them if they tried to leave.
The court said that an Arizona law permitted a person to threaten to use – or actually use – physical force against someone else when that person believes it is necessary for protection “against the other’s use or attempted use of unlawful physical force.”
But the court said that Barnett held them at gunpoint even after becoming aware that no one in the group of 16 men and women was armed, and so he could not use the argument of self-defense.
“Basically they said he took his pistol out and kept his pistol out longer than necessary,” Hardy said.
In fact, Hardy added, Barnett put his gun away after realizing that no one in the group was armed, and after feeling he was not in physical danger.
Mexico Angry at U.S. Official's 'Insurgency' Remark
Always playin the name game!
What else are you supposed to call the insurgency in Mexico?
Do the cartels go around terrorizing the citizens of Mexico?
Do the drug running douchebags live amongst the people they terrorize?
do they set off carbombs? Not many but the answer is still yes!
Do they cut off peoples heads?
Does Mexico look like a war zone half the time?
Its an insurgency Jackass what else would you call it ?
Foxnews
MEXICO CITY -- The Mexican government on Wednesday condemned comments by a top U.S. Defense Department official characterizing the drug gang violence here as a "form of insurgency" -- remarks the official later apologized for and retracted.
Mexico's Foreign Secretary Patricia Espinosa regretted that "outdated visions" on drug trafficking continue to be used and urged U.S. officials to refrain from commenting on issues they are not fully informed about.
We do not understand? WTF! You people are to Ignorant to understand what is happening in your own country! your people are being killed right and left and we don't understand!
"These unfortunate incidents should show that officials need to refrain from making statements, from giving opinions without having all the facts," Espinosa said.
Westphal made his initial remarks Monday at the Hinkley Institute of Politics Forum. In a statement Tuesday he said that in response to a question, he "mistakenly characterized the challenge posed by drug cartels to Mexico as 'a form of insurgency."'
"My comments were not and have never been the policy of the Department of Defense or the U.S. Government toward Latin America," he added. "I regret that my inaccurate statements may have caused concerns for our partners and friends in the region, especially Mexico."

Soldiers kill 10 gunmen in northern Mexico clash
Whittling away at the Bad guys.
Foxnews
Soldiers patrolling a rural area on the border with Texas killed 10 suspected drug gang gunmen at a training camp, Mexico's Defense Department said Saturday.
The military patrol came under attack after finding the camp of armed men in the town of Valle Hermoso, in the border state of Tamaulipas, on Friday, the department said in a statement.
The soldiers returned fire and killed 10 suspects. Soldiers also seized weaponry including 24 rifles, two grenade launchers and 18 grenades, as well as an armored vehicle, it said.
The Gulf coast state of Tamaulipas, which borders Texas, has seen a spike in violence since last year's split between the Gulf cartel and the Zetas, formerly a gang of enforcers and now a cartel in its own right.

Massacre-in-the-making' interrupted in Juárez, police say
10 very lucky people in Mexico today.
If they would like to remain lucky, they best find someplace else to live( Not here thoough)
CNN
EL Paso Times
Mexican federal police interrupted a weekend massacre-in-the-making in a Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, motel and captured two hit men working for a major cartel in the city, a spokesman for the federal police told CNN Monday.
"We received an anonymous tip that these men were sequestering a group of 11 in a motel," federal police spokesman Ramon Salinas said. "We acted on the tip and were able to catch them in the act of a massacre at a motel party."
The men were planning to kill a group of 11 youths and managed to kill one of them before police arrived, according to Salinas, who described the 11 only as young people, without specifying ages or sexes.

Mass grave with 18 bodies uncovered in northern Mexico
Mass graves were found all over Iraq during the war.
Mexico's Cartels are not far behind Saddam Hussein and the insurgents in their criminal terrorist style attacks.
Its alright though Mexico is only right next door, Iraq is far away we should not have much of a problem here.
BBC
Mexican soldiers have uncovered 18 bodies buried on a ranch near the US border.
Troops acting on information from captured drug cartel gunmen dug the bodies out from 11 graves near Palomas in Chihuahua state.
Hours earlier, gunmen shot dead a female police chief in the town of Meoqui, also in Chihuahua...
suspected cartel gunmen shot dead Hermila Garcia, chief of police in the town of Meoqui, outside Chihuahua city.
Ms Garcia, 36, was killed in the morning as she drove to work.
She is one of a number of women who have recently taken on senior roles in local police forces in Chihuahua because many men are too scared to take the jobs.

Mexico hunting 12-year-old drug gang hitman
A Twelve year old !
The Mexican cartels are truly ruthless, $3000 to off somebody ?
The AA (Artist Assassins) are a group of young kids that go around and not only point people out to the Cartels, but they also perform hits.
It's a messed up world.
(Reuters) - Soldiers are hunting a 12-year-old suspected drug gang hitman accused of helping wage a gruesome turf war in central Mexico, a state prosecutor and Mexican media said on Friday.
The boy, known only as "El Ponchis," is believed to be working for the South Pacific cartel in Morelos state, outside Mexico City, and is one of a group of young teenagers who have already committed "terrible acts," Morelos State Prosecutor Pedro Luis Benitez told local radio.
"These minors are still not fully developed and so it is easy to influence them, to give them a gun, pretending it is plastic, that it is a game."
Benitez did not name the boy or give more details, but when asked directly about the teenage hitmen he said: "They're persuaded to carry out terrible acts; they don't realize what they are doing," he added.
Mexican daily La Razon said the boy is being paid $3,000 for each murder and is under the command of a little-known drug lord who heads the South Pacific cartel fighting the Beltran Leyva and La Familia gangs for control in southwestern Mexico.
Benitez said soldiers this week arrested a teenage boy and a pregnant teenage girl also believed to be working for the South Pacific cartel.

'Major' Human Smuggling Cell Busted in Arizona
But there is nothing wrong in Arizona, or any other place along the Border with Mexico.
That is what the Obamasiah Would like us to believe.
Arizona may want to check into their Vehicle registration Process Though.
Foxnews
PHOENIX – Authorities have dismantled a major cell of a human smuggling ring that may be responsible for the transportation of thousands of illegal immigrants from the U.S.-Mexico border to Phoenix and other parts of the country, investigators said Wednesday.
Nine people were arrested Wednesday after a yearlong investigation. They have not yet been charged but are accused of picking up illegal immigrants after they crossed the border by foot, and taking them to what are known as drop houses in Phoenix before they were distributed to other parts of the country.
The group was led by a man who told them his name is Mark Rodriguez-Banks, although investigators were working to determine whether that is his real name and if he was living in the country legally, said Arizona Department of Public Safety Capt. Fred Zumbo.
All but one of those arrested are believed to be in the country illegally. Their names were not released.
Rodriguez-Banks provided vehicles for the immigrants' transportation from the border to Phoenix, and from there to other parts of the country, Zumbo said.
Authorities seized 62 vans from the group Wednesday, some of which were disguised as belonging to flower or carpet cleaning companies. None of the vehicles had been reported stolen but were registered to people with addresses that don't exist.

Mexico kills top drug lord at U.S. border
Awesome,
Dodging grenades and coming under heavy fire from gunmen hidden in houses and shooting from trucks, the marines moved in on Cardenas, one of Mexico's most-wanted traffickers, and killed him on Friday afternoon, the navy said.
Mexico Has a Navy?
(Reuters) - Mexican marines killed drug baron Ezequiel "Tony Tormenta" Cardenas in a ferocious gunfight at the U.S. border on Friday, a fleeting victory for President Felipe Calderon that is unlikely to quell raging violence.
Around 150 marines backed by helicopters and soldiers fought running battles with members of the powerful Gulf cartel for hours in Matamoros, across from Brownsville, Texas, terrifying residents and briefly shutting border bridges.
Dodging grenades and coming under heavy fire from gunmen hidden in houses and shooting from trucks, the marines moved in on Cardenas, one of Mexico's most-wanted traffickers, and killed him on Friday afternoon, the navy said.
"He died in a shootout with us," a navy spokesman said.
Three marines and four gunmen were killed, the navy said. A reporter was killed after being caught in crossfire, local media reported.

Foxnews
CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico -- Four U.S. citizens were shot to death in separate attacks in the border city of Ciudad Juarez, Mexican authorities said Monday.
Chihuahua state prosecutors' spokesman Arturo Sandoval said Edgar Lopez, 35, of El Paso, Texas, was killed Sunday along with two Mexican men when gunmen opened fire on a group standing outside a house.
On Saturday, a 26-year-old U.S. woman and an American boy were slain shortly after crossing an international bridge from El Paso. Giovanna Herrera and Luis Araiza, 15, were shot to death along with a Mexican man traveling with them just after 11 a.m., Sandoval said.
Sandoval said authorities also identified a 24-year-old woman killed Friday inside a tortilla shop as Lorena Izaguirre, a U.S. citizen and El Paso resident. A Mexican man was also found dead in the store.

Mexican hitmen kill 15 in latest massacre
It is just non stop Mayhem in Mexico.
(Reuters) - Suspected drug hitmen shot dead 15 people at a car wash in western Mexico on Wednesday, the third massacre in just a few days, putting new pressure on President Felipe Calderon to stop the growing violence.
The gunmen, in three SUVs, opened fire on staff and customers in the car wash on the outskirts of the city of Tepic in Nayarit state, provoking panic as the victims, all workers at the car wash, collapsed to the ground.
The multiple murder is the third since Friday when gunmen shot and killed 14 people and injured a 9-year-old boy at a party in Ciudad Juarez across from El Paso, Texas. On Sunday, gunmen in Tijuana killed 14 people at a rehabilitation center in the city bordering San Diego, California.
