The hate speech charges against Geert Wilders have been widen to include inciting hatred towards Moroccans and non-Western ethnic minorities.

The hate speech charges against Geert Wilders didn't make sense in the beginning and the lates charges to be tacked on don't make any sense either.

The charges against far-right MP Geert Wilders have been extended to include inciting hatred towards Moroccans and non-Western ethnic minorities, de Volksrant newspaper reports.

Up to now the Freedom Party leader has been charged with inciting hatred against Muslims through his remarks in the media and his anti-Islam film Fitna. Mr Wilders has compared the Qur’an to Hitler’s Mein Kampf, and called for it to be banned.

However, the public prosecutor’s office has now decided to widen the charges, based in part on Mr Wilders response in a 2006 interview when asked what he would do if he came to power in the Netherlands: ‘The same day the borders would be closed to all non-Western immigrants.’ Mr Wilders has also expressed this view in parliament.

Man to pay $2000 for pulling woman's hijab

A British man has been ordered to pay $2000 in compensation to a muslim woman for yanking on her hijab.

Stephen Ard was handed a 16-week jail sentence, suspended for a year, after he admitted a charge of religiously aggravated assault.

Leicester magistrates also ordered him to pay his victim £1,000 compensation after hearing he was drunk at the time of the incident which took place in October in the Highfields area of the city.

His victim Rehana Sidat told the court she felt 'invaded' by the attack and is still scared to walk the streets alone.

UK: Baroness Warsi gets egged by fellow Muslims

I suppose it could have been worse, after all they could have been throwing stones.

Conservative peer Baroness Warsi of Dewsbury, named Britain's most powerful Muslim woman, has been pelted with eggs during a visit to Luton. The Baroness, 38, was taking part in a walkabout in the Muslim Bury Park area of Luton when she was confronted by a group of male protesters.

Baroness Warsi, who was hit by at least one egg, debated with the men after they accused her of not being a proper Muslim (uh-oh. Apostasy = 'I kill you' in Islam) and supporting the death of Muslims in Afghanistan.

Baroness Warsi told the BBC that the men were "idiots who did not represent the majority of British Muslims". She said she had tried to talk to the protesters but they did not want to debate their concerns.

'I stood up to this group and said I challenge your views,' she told BBC News. 'They just weren't prepared to listen. They shouted. 'I said if you want to have this debate, listen.'

She continued with her walkabout, but with a police escort.

Backlash against muslims has begun

Remember a day after the Ft. Hood terrorist attack, the media, Napalitano, CAIR all warned us that there would be a violent backlash against muslims in America. Well, they were right...the backlash against muslims in the US has begun.

A suburban Chicago woman has been charged with a hate crime for allegedly yanking the head scarf of a Muslim woman in Tinley Park two days after the shootings at Fort Hood, Texas.

Valerie Kenney, 54, a bank teller from Tinley Park, appeared at the Bridgeview Courthouse on Wednesday and was released on $5,000 bail. If convicted of the felony, Kenney faces up to 3 years in prison and a $25,000 fine. She is due back in court Dec. 3.

"I think (a charge of hate crime) sends the appropriate message that these kinds of race-based lash-outs are unacceptable," said Ahmed Rehab, executive director of the Chicago chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. "Every time something like (the Fort Hood shootings) happens, the Muslim community prepares for a backlash."

Senate passes gay hate-crimes bill

So now what ? It seems that this fancy little ass kissing piece of legislation covers everyone but normal people !
And an assault towards anyone on this list is going to be a Federal Crime ? WTF .
What is the difference between "Gender" and "Gender Identity" ?
Gender being Male and or female , Gender Identity being what happens to you when you see someone walking down the Street and you say to yourself " Male or Female " ?
Because it is so damn hard to tell sometimes ! (Especially in El Paso )
And nice fricken job attaching this to part of the Pentagons Budget !

WASHINGTON - A bill to make violence against gays and lesbians a federal crime cleared the Senate Thursday and is headed to the White House for final approval.

The 68-29 vote was a victory for civil rights groups that have been fighting for years to expand the federal hate-crimes law beyond attacks motivated by bias based on religion, race, national origin or color. The new bill, which President Obama is expected to sign, includes penalties for assaults based on a victim's sexual orientation, gender, disability or gender identity.

Attorney General Eric Holder, whose Justice Department would be charged with enforcing the new provisions, praised the bill's passage.

"There have been nearly 80,000 hate crime incidents reported to the FBI since I first testified before Congress in support of a hate crimes bill 11 years ago," Holder said. He said recent incidents such as the shooting in June of an African-American security guard at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum by a white supremacist "demonstrate that there are still those for whom prejudice can translate into violence."

Yes their is ! and we have a solution for that ,It is called the Death penalty ! maybe if it was enforced there would be less of a problem ?

The legislation also would give federal authorities more power to help state and local law enforcement officials investigate hate crimes.

The bill, which was attached to a $680 billion measure outlining the Pentagon's budget, was passed by the House Oct. 8.

Some of the 28 Senate Republicans who voted against the bill said they didn't like being forced to vote on the issue in relation to a Defense Department bill.

"It's a shame that this piece of legislation was added to a bill that's supposed to be about supporting our troops," said Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.).
