Pakistan: Top Taliban Commander Arrested

Whenever Pakistan needs good PR they just go out and nab a terrorist.

Pakistani security forces say they have captured and wounded a top Afghan Taliban militant.

Officials said Monday they seized Mansoor Dadullah in southwestern Pakistan's Balochistan province, near the border with Afghanistan.

Mansoor Dadullah is the brother of a former top military commander for the Taliban, Mullah Dadullah, who was killed in an Afghan and NATO operation in May 2007.

Also near the Afghan border, Pakistani officials said a suicide bomber today killed a candidate in next week's parliamentary elections when the attacker drove a car filled with explosives into the candidate's vehicle. At least seven other people also died in the attack.
