Another Guantanamo Prisoner Claims Torture

I know a terrorist who claims he was tortured isn't really news worthy because it's as certain as the sun rising from the east. That's because they were trained to cry 'torture' when captured.
When terrorists chops off the heads of captives, well thats not torture thats following Mohammed's example. Reuters

GUANTANAMO BAY U.S. NAVAL BASE, Cuba (Reuters) - A young prisoner accused of throwing a grenade that injured two U.S. soldiers and their translator in Afghanistan called the Guantanamo war court illegal and unfair on Wednesday, and then refused to participate further.

"I've been tortured. I'm a human being. I have not violated any law," Afghan prisoner Mohammed Jawad said in his first hearing on charges of attempted murder and causing great bodily injury.
....
"I've been brought here illegally . I am innocent. It's an injustice to me," he said through a Pashto translator.

[...]

Jawad refused to have a military or civilian lawyer, and the judge agreed to revisit the issue and delayed entering a plea. Jawad told the judge that years of harsh prison lighting had given him a permanent headache that made him unable to listen further, then removed his translation earphones and laid his head on the table in front of him.
Thats the torture, poor prison lighting which gave poor ol' Jawad a headache.

Try walking around in Walmart under its strip lighting for an hour or two. He kinda has a point. Appartently the guards play Metallica over the PA in Gitmo too. Metallica and strip lighting. That IS torture.

Why should we care anyways?

Did you read the headline?
"I'm a human being," young Guantanamo prisoner says

I didn't realize John Merrick was a terrorist.

Somebody put a round in that piece of trash and end his suffering.

Of course, he'd never experienced harsh lighting before. Afghanistan is well known for its lamps and the world famous Track Lighting of Mohammed.

Actually, neal5X5, it's more like he's never experienced lighting before. Or indoor plumbing, or a glimpse of a woman he wasn't related to.
