Khadr's Lawyers Hint Torture

Pretty slick, Khadr's lawyers must've read the al Qaida training manual which tells it's operatives to claim torture if ever caught. It's a familiar pattern, every terrorist that is captured cried torture, to discredit the authorities. National Post

Khadr is currently in Guantanamo Bay before a military tribunal. Khadr, who was 15 at the time, is accused of killing a US medic with a grenade during a battle in Afghanistan. For those of you who don't know, the Khadr family is infamous in Canada because they are known as the al Qaida family and they have all expressed they're love of Osama Bin Laden on Canadian National TV.

U.S. NAVAL BASE, GUANTANAMO BAY, Cuba -- Lawyers for Omar Khadr seek the names of the people who interrogated him shortly after his July 2002 capture in Afghanistan, suspecting they subjected him to techniques similar to those that led to the deaths of two other detainees in the same detention centre.

In a motion Thursday before the U.S. war crimes court in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, the lawyers will ask the military judge to order that the U.S. government identify the officers so they can be questioned and possibly called as witnesses if Mr. Khadr's case continues to trial as currently scheduled.

This is precisely the reason that western forces should not take any more prisoners. They are used as a tactic to undermine our fight against them.

With Liberals all to eager and ignorant to support the enemy, it would advance the war effort greatly if our side just refused to take any more prisoners/enemy combatants and just eliminated them on-site.

We cannot and will not win the war on radical islam if we keep hamstringing ourselves by permitting endless claims of torture and harassment against us to be played out in the court of public opinion, which is all to eager to condemn us for our humane treatment of the enemy while excusing the enemies barbarity against us.

Let's take the gloves off and really take the fight to them, on their level and see how long they last. Not very I'd imagine.
