While I understand the sentiment you are trying to convey I do not think "Happy" is the correct word for this day. We should be sober and somber on this day. I realize that it is the unoffical first day of summer and most people will be celebrating that but shouldn't we take the time to actually do something to honor our war dead (I know most of the people that read this site do). I plan on going down to pick up the trash around our Soldiers Memorial (St. Louis, MO).
I just wish that more people would take time to remember our fallen heroes instead of BBQing.

Yeah I agree with you. I just couldn't think of anything else :S But I knew 'happy' wasn't a very good choice.
