A temporary document outlining the general principles of an Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement can be expected to be compiled by the end of the year, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert reportedly told French President Nicolas Sarkorzy on Sunday night.
According to a senior French official, during a welcoming dinner for the French president in Jerusalem, Olmert said he and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas had built a relationship of real trust.
Concerning Hamas, Olmert reportedly expressed hope that the Gaza truce would continue to hold.
