Al Qaida in Iraq Desperate

Al Qaida in Iraq resorts to drugging and tricking it's suicide bombers.

"Thank God I am finished from this vest," Herald Sun

AN alert policeman who became suspicious of a 15-year-old girl, threw himself at her and found she was wearing a vest loaded with bombs.

Sabah Mohammed Khalaf chained her to the bars of a window, stripped away her dress and defused the device.

Had he not intervened, the girl would have been Iraq's 30th suicide bomber this year.
....
A day after the arrest, Rania was still in a daze as she spoke about the people who put her up to it -- her relatives who forced her to don the vest and apparently drugged her; her husband, who police accuse of being a member of the group al-Qaida In Iraq, and her mother, who seemed to play a central role in turning Rania into a bomb.

In an Interior Ministry office, Rania said she did not know the vest was a bomb.

But she said she was suspicious when her husband's female cousins told her to wear it, saying it would help her rheumatism.
