Flint Mi , is as bad if not worse than Detroit , To here about someone like this is not a shock , But it is close to home ! about 30 minutes away from where I live. The Detroit news.

MINNEAPOLIS -- A Flint man is charged with illegally having Molotov cocktails that he planned to use at the Republican National Convention, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

Matthew Bradley DePalma, 23, was charged Saturday with one count of possessing unregistered firearms -- at least five Molotov cocktails. The complaint was unsealed Wednesday.

DePalma came to the FBI's attention in July after he attended a "CrimethInc. Convergence" near Waldo, Wis. During the event, he told a confidential FBI source that he wanted to go to Minnesota for the convention, "make some bombs" and "blow (stuff) up" at the convention, authorities said.
....

CrimethInc. describes itself as an "anarchist collective." Its Web site says it merges "secret worlds of shoplifters, rioters, dropouts, deserters, adulterers, vandals, daydreamers."

On Aug. 18, DePalma and an FBI informant spent 90 minutes at the Hennepin County library, researching how to make explosive devices, according to officials.

In recorded conversations, DePalma told the source how he would put a bomb near the Xcel Energy Center, site of the convention, authorities said.On Aug. 22, at the source's apartment, DePalma made two jugs of a napalm-like substance and flammable gelatin, authorities said. He was arrested at the apartment Saturday.

If convicted, DePalma faces up to 10 years in prison. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday in Minneapolis.

The public defender representing DePalma was not available for comment.
