A MUSLIM warehouse worker is suing Tesco for racial discrimination — as he had to carry crates of beer on his forklift truck.

Saudi-born Mohammed Ahmed, 32, told an employment tribunal it offended his beliefs.

He claimed he did not realise the supermarket giant sold alcohol when he took the job at a depot in Lichfield, Staffs.

Ahmed, of Normanton, Derby, said he was harassed after making a complaint, and later quit.

He said yesterday: “I am asking for my rights.”
