Canada: Federal Candidate calls for open access to mosques

A Canadian independent federal candidate, Howard Galganov, has called for open access to mosques and islamic schools to make sure they aren't teaching hatred of other religions or groups. Of course this has lead to the predictable whining of some muslim group. In this case specifically the Pakistani Muslim Association of Cornwall.

The usual accusations of racism, bigotry were flying left, right and center. But you know what, I hope Galganov gets elected. The West needs more politicians to stand up against the supremacist ideology of islam. Cornwell Standard

Howard Galganov has sparked outrage in the Muslim community after the independent federal election candidate said he wants "open access" to all mosques and educational institutions to make sure they aren't teaching hatred of other religions and cultures.

Nadeem Chaudhry, a member of the Pakistani Muslim Association of Cornwall, said he was "really upset to hear those comments" and is calling for Galganov to call off his candidacy.

Galganov essentially blamed the Islamic religion for the attacks on New York City and Washington, D. C. in 2001 by saying "9/11 (wasn't) pulled off by a bunch of blue-eyed, blond-haired kids."[...]

Chaudhry defended Galganov's right to free speech, but couldn't understand why he would blame Muslims for 9/11 "without any concrete reason."
Maybe because the 9/11 terrorists were inspired to carry out the attacks by quranic verses like strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, or Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day or countless other verses from the quran and hadiths....
He thinks Galganov's answer could, legally speaking, be considered a human rights violation, slander or, at the very least, a form of religious hatred.[...]

While Chaudhry recognizes there are extremist Muslims, he says all religions have worshippers who wrongly use violence in defense of their religion.

He said Nazi Party leader Adolf Hitler ordered the deaths of millions of people during the Second World War, but no one called him an "extremist Christian."
That's because Hitler never justified the murder of millions of people with Christian scripture. In fact Hitler despised Christianity, and admired islam.

Actually, Galganov is calling for nothing more than is already done in Singapore. So he's not the only one who sees Islam as a potential threat. The problem is that Islam is not a religion like all the others. It is as much a political ideology as it is a faith. Like fascism or communism. And we certainly monitor those.

The more i read and hear about Islam the more i think it is the most dangerous thing since Hitler in fact more so,and i can see that the west will have to fight a 3rd world war to destroy it in the next few years.
