Judge disavows email about islam

Cowardice. Twin Cities

Hennepin County District Judge and Minnesota Supreme Court candidate Deborah Hedlund received an e-mail Monday with the subject line, "Can Muslims Be Good Americans?"

The e-mail came to Hedlund and several other people from Matt Look, owner of Ramsey-based Look Signs, with whom Hedlund was negotiating for some lawn signs.

It includes claims that allegiance to Islam forbids a Muslim "to make friends with Christians or Jews," that a Muslim "must submit to the mullahs, who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America" and that "Barack Hussein Obama, a Muslim ... refuses to pledge allegiance to the United States or put his hand over his heart when the national anthem is played. ..."

In her reply message to Look — which she inadvertently sent to all original recipients — Hedlund wrote: "Matt, We speak the same language. And I still need to let voters know they have a choice to 'Seek Justice, Vote For Experience' for the Minnesota Supreme Court."[...]

Hedlund said Tuesday that she did not read the message about Muslims and that her comment about speaking "the same language" referred to the fact that she believed she and Look had a deal on the signs.

She said she responded to that particular e-mail only because it was the most recent one Look had sent.

"I disavow it," she said. "I didn't have anything to do with that."

1. In my opinion, Hedlund is a BIGOT. She replies to an e-mail that is titled "Can a Muslim be a Good American?" which lists ten reasons why the answer is "no" by writing back "Matt, we speak the same language."

2. In my opinion, Hedlund is an IDIOT. She hit "reply all" when she sent her message of hate.

3. In my opinion, Hedlund is a LIAR. She told reporters that she had not read the bigoted e-mail or its subject line when she sent it.

Minnesotans should not vote for a judicial candidate who is a bigot, an idiot, and a liar. Dump Hedlund!
