TWO doctors planned car bomb attacks in Glasgow and London "motivated by their belief in a fundamental form of Islam", a court has heard.

Mohammad Asha, 28, and Bilal Abdulla, 29, are accused of conspiring with a third man Kafeel Ahmed, 27, in June last year.[...]

Ahmed died during the Glasgow incident, but Asha and Abdulla are on trial accused of conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to cause explosions with intent to endanger life.
