Hostages and bodies trickle out of Hotels in Mumbai

Indian commandos are still trying to free an unspecified number of hostages held by terrorists in several luxury hotels in Mumbai, India. The Indian Prime Minister has accused external forces for orchestrating the attacks. He is probably either referring to either the ISI, the Pakistani secret service, or al Qaida.

Hopefully the commandos are successful in rescuing the hostages and killing all of the remaining terrorists. The hostages are in my prayers. Globe & Mail

MUMBAI — A trickle of bodies and hostages emerged from a luxury hotel Thursday as Indian commandos tried to free people trapped by suspected Muslim militants who attacked at least 10 targets in India's financial capital of Mumbai, killing 104 people.

More than 300 were also wounded in the highly co-ordinated attacks Wednesday night by bands of gunmen who invaded two five star hotels, a popular restaurant, a crowded train station, a Jewish centre and at least five other sites, armed with assault rifles, hand grenades and explosives.

Indian officials confirmed that Canadians were among the hostages held by suspected Muslim militants.

State's Deputy Home Secretary Bitin Srimali said foreigners being held captive include Canadians, Americans, British, Italians, Swedes, Yemenis, New Zealanders, Spaniards, Turks, a Singaporean and Israelis.
