Taliban kill Afghan's deputy chielf of Intelligence

The taliban gun down Azizullah, the deputy chielf of intelligence. A lot of terrorists have been killed in timely Predator drone attacks. Maybe the taliban are worried about US's improved intelligence capabilities. AKI

Kandahar, 4 Nov. (AKI) - Gunmen shot dead the deputy chief of intelligence in Afghanistan's southern city of Kandahar, an official said Tuesday.

Azizullah, who went by only one name, was gunned down on his way home late Monday, the Kandahar provincial intelligence chief, Abdul Qayoum Katawazi, said.

"He was shot dead by armed people riding motorbikes," Katawazi said.

According to the US network, CNN, the Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement posted on their website.
