2 shot dead as city's violence continues

Two men were fatally shot Wednesday afternoon in Juárez as a rash of murders continued with at least nine homicides since Monday.

At 1:30, two men drove up in a black car. One man got out and shot Oscar Urias Cantu multiple times with a 9-mm handgun in the 7900 block of Mision de Senecu in Las Misiones area, police said.

At 3:50, Victor Manuel Bejarano Hernandez, 34, was shot while sitting in a Ford Windstar in the 700 block of Federico Gamboa, police said. There were no arrests.
