Chihuahua state police on Saturday reported that about 100 people had been killed in Juárez since the beginning of the month.
Officials said at least 18 people were killed on Friday and Saturday.
Among the victims were Francisco Javier González Luna, 30, who was shot at least 13 times with a handgun Friday night in the area of Juan de la Barrera and Felipe Angeles streets, East Juárez; Homero Carmona Gutierrez, 32, who was shot twice and found dead Friday in the middle of the Juárez Porvenir road; and Agustín Talamantes Alvidrez, 35, who was found dead of multiple gunshots in a bar.
Also Friday, a 35-year-old woman was found dead at the intersection of Nácar and Coridón Streets in Colonia Libertad.
