SRINAGAR (Reuters) - Muslim militants fighting troops in Kashmir have issued a three-day ultimatum to a college to implement a strict Islamic dress code for girls, or face the consequences.

In the early 1990s, Islamist militants began imposing their own strict version of Islam, shooting at the legs of women who did not cover themselves in a burqa, and throwing acid on their faces.
