One man was arrested in the Boston area and at least two other co-conspirators are involved in a terrorism-related investigation, a U.S. Justice Department spokeswoman said on Wednesday.
Further details were to be announced at a news conference scheduled for 10 a.m. EDT, the spokeswoman said.

He was arrested early Wednesday, according to a person familiar with the investigation who asked not to be identified. The person, who was not authorized to divulge details of the investigation, said the man is from Sudbury, an upscale suburb about 20 miles west of Boston.
The person said the man had two co-conspirators. Their current status was not immediately known.
Prosecutors would not immediately say if the man was Tarek Mehanna who was arrested in November 2008 for allegedly lying to authorities about the whereabouts of a man who trained al Qaeda members with the goal of overthrowing the Somali government.
Update: Per the news conference being held on FNC right now - it is Tarek Mehanna. And a mall attack was being planned.
