All I can say is, these people have NO shame...and I include the Washington Post for publishing these three pages of absolute drivel.
From WaPo:
An airsickness bag can be found in the seat pocket in front of you.
I don't think I can go on any more. Read the rest here if you have the stomach for it. Please note: All the Hollywood A-listers are rumored to be invited. House GOP leadership? No invites for them. Don't you just love this post-racial, post partisan Obama reign?
Hold up. What's up with this? It's the first state dinner but it's not the first state visit? How Obamaesque.
While this is a state dinner, the Prime Minister's visit is not considered a "state" visit but an "official" visit. The Prime Minister is not a head of state. India’s head of state is President Pratibha Devisingh Patil. Her position has relatively little Constitutional power though she is considered the Rashtrapati, or lord of the realm. The President is elected by members of the Indian parliament and the state legislatures.
And so much for that transparency thing: Details of state dinner scarce: White House mum.
I am happy to report that Jennifer Hudson sang. Wait til I get the menu and we realize how we are being hoodwinked.
Possums, you know I love you, but I can't take anymore, especially after Lynn Sweet tells us this: Obama Nov. 23 schedule update: Meeting with war cabinet tonight.
