DC Muslim 5: 'We're being tortured. Honest. And we want Daniel Pearl's former 'go to guy' as our lawyer."

MIA DC Muslim 5

Remember those 5 DC Muslim 'yutes' that went to Pakistan to wage Jihad? Well, now they are saying that they are being tortured, poor lambs. (Note to DC 5: It's not torture, it's the Islamic nation of Pakistan! How do you like your jihad now?)

Five Americans arrested last month for allegedly plotting terror attacks told a court Monday they have been tortured while in custody.

Muhammad Ameer Khan Rokhri, the former defense lawyer for the accused, told CNN Monday the five complained to the special anti-terrorism court that they were tortured by the jail authorities. He added that the court ordered medical check-ups for the five.

Aftab Hanif, the deputy superintendent of the district jail, told CNN that the allegations were false. He said nobody touched the suspects and added that they were even receiving better food than the other prisoners.

P.S. Looks to me like they just want to set up some bogus human rights bs in order to arrange a prisoner exchange for Aafia Siddiqui (Gray Lady of al Qaeda) currently on trial here in the US. Read on, possums.

Rokhri (their former lawyer) said the five told him they didn't want to him to represent them any more but would like Human Rights activist Khalid Khawaja to be their defense counsel. Khalid Khawaja is not a lawyer. He is a former member of the Pakistan intelligence service and founder of "Defense of Human Rights," a Pakistani Human Rights organization based in Islamabad.

Rokhri said the court has allowed the accused to hire any lawyer for their defense and adjourned the case until February 2.

Khalid khalwaj About Khalid Khalwaja - he's a known bad actor with a heavy whiff of muslim moonbat about him:

<--- Khalid Khalwaja -and is that a prayer bump I see? Yes it is!

After being given a tip that Mansoor Ijaz is connected to leading militant Muslims in Pakistan, reporter Daniel Pearl will connect with Khalid Khawaja, who in turn connects him with militant Muslims who kidnap and eventually kill him. A leading Pakistani newspaper will claim that at one point Newsweek is about to accuse Khawaja of involvement in the plot to kidnap Pearl, but Ijaz vouches for Khawaja and convinces Newsweek to pull back its accusations.

And did Khawaja fly Osama Bin Laden's plane at one point in his checkered past?

Khalid Khawaja, “has never hidden his links with Osama bin Laden. At one time he used to fly Osama’s personal plane.”

He says no - but you will note that he doesn't say he didn't fly WITH Osama Bin Laden.

Mr Khalid Khawaja wrote last week to complain that I had erroneously called him a Taliban apologist and a person who confesses to be the pilot of Osama bin Laden. He states he never was Osama’s pilot, as he never qualified to be a pilot. While I have not seen anything to convince me about the former, I cannot prove him wrong in the latter even though the internet and rightwing talk shows are full of this introduction.

He has also been actively involved in the Pakistani Supreme Court case involving the stripping of Presidential immunity and has been lobbying for the release of the Gray Lady of al Qaeda, Aafia Siddiqui - currently on trial here in NYC. (see here)
