This is one of those rare instances in politics that truly make sense.
How anyone in the American Political system, even thinks that it is Alright to take care of people from another country Before they take care of a LEGAL or NATURALIZED citizen, is just beyond comprehension. It's MINDNUMBINGLY PAINFUL!
Forget the Fact that I'm out of Work.
Forget the Fact that I am paying my own way through School(Yes out of my own Pocket)
Forget the fact that I have done everything you are supposed to do as an American Citizen(Work And pay Taxes, Pay my own way)
Forget the fact that their are Honest people here in the U.S. that Bust their ASS'S for most of their lives to get to where they are.
Only to see a United States Douchebag of a Politician Tell Me and You that some poor deprived Mexican citizen that wont lift a fucking finger to help his own useless country, Defend or even protect it; Deserves it all for FREE.
Mr Reid,With all due respect; You can Kiss my Ass.
The New York Times
The Senate on Saturday blocked a bill that would have created a path to citizenship for certain illegal immigrant students who came to the United States as children, completed two years of college or military service and met other requirements, including passing a criminal background check...
In a floor speech, Senator Richard J. Durbin, Democrat of Illinois, a main champion of the Dream act, urged a yes vote. “I want to make it clear to my colleagues, you won’t get many chances in the United States Senate, in the course of your career, to face clear votes on the issue of justice,” he said.
“Thousands of children in American who live in the shadows and dream of greatness,” he said. “They are children who have been raised in this country. They stand in the classrooms and pledge allegiance to our flag. They sing our ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ as our national anthem. They believe in their heart of hearts this is home. This is the only country they have ever known.”
