Troops kill 8 Taliban in Swat, 4 in S Waziristan

RAWALPINDI: Security forces have killed eight more Taliban in Swat, said the ISPR on Thursday as the Online news agency reported that troops had killed four Taliban in South Waziristan.

At least two soldiers were also killed and seven security personnel injured in an explosion in Bannu.

“Security forces a conducted search operation in the area around Loe Namal and Pansarat, and killed eight Taliban, including local commander Bilal,” said the ISPR, adding that forces destroyed 20 hideouts and seized eight machine guns, a rifle and other arms.
