John Lennon's Ferrari for sale
One of the Ugliest colors for a Ferrari, But I would not mind having it.
NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Singer John Lennon's first car, a 1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Coupe, is up for auction. The car has an estimated value of $155,000 to $220,000.
The car will be sold in Paris on February 5 by the British auction firm of Bonhams.
According to the classic car pricing Web site Nadaquides.com, a car like Lennon's would ordinarily be worth about $60,000 to $109,000, depending on condition and options.

China coal trucks stuck in 120 km traffic jam

(Reuters) - More than 10,000 trucks mainly carrying coal are stuck in a 120 km (75 mile) traffic jam in the northeastern Chinese region of Inner Mongolia, in the latest dramatic snarl-up on the country's roads.
State television said the highway heading toward Beijing and the neighboring province of Hebei was now more like a car park. The jam started forming on Tuesday after traffic restrictions began being enforced in Hebei, it added.
Most of the vehicles were coal trucks, the report said, which were also blocking feeder roads leading onto the highway. But the road further into Hebei had already begun freeing up, offering hope to the drivers stuck in Inner Mongolia, it added.

Scientists to present car for blind drivers next year
Mr Maurer said he started talking about a car for blind drivers ten years ago.
"Some people thought I was crazy," he said.
Is it just me or is this possibly the most ignorant idea ever thought of ?
It is hard enough to deal with people who can not function behind the wheel of a car Because of Texting ,talking on a phone , reading a paper , putting on makeup ,being old and not being able to see , being a teenager , I'm sure I am missing a few ,
But now we have to worry about Blind people !

US Scientists and the National Federation of the Blind are developing a car for the blind and will present a prototype next year.
The vehicle will be fitted with technology that allows a blind person to drive independently, the NFB and Virginia Tech University said.
Non-visual aids include sensors indicating turns in the road via vibrating gloves.
Puffs of compressed air on the face will alert the driver to obstacles.
Other aids to be fitted include a vibrating vest to give feedback on speed and a steering wheel with audio cues and spoken commands indicating the car's direction.
