NATO Commandos Raid Village inside Pakistan

According to witnesses, NATO troops in three helicopters landed near in the Musa Nikeh area in South Waziristan. Then the troops raided about three houses, killing between 15-20 people. Some witnesses also report that NATO forces also detained a few people and took them away. NATO and US forces said they have no information about any raids inside Pakistan. Reuters

The attack is likely to spark uproar in Pakistan where it is will be seen as undermining sovereignty at a time when a new civilian government is struggling to assert authority in the turbulent nuclear-armed state.

"It is outrageous," Owais Ahmed Ghani, governor of North West Frontier province, said in a statement.

"This is a direct assault on the sovereignty of Pakistan and the people of Pakistan expect that the armed forces ... would rise to defend the sovereignty of the country and give a befitting reply," he said.
Pakistan ceded sovereignty of the tribal areas to the taliban a long time ago. If this is true, then let me be the first to say fuckin eh.
