Filipino President caving in to MILF

Filipino President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is issuing an executive order to give more autonomy for Midanao muslims. MILF, the Midanao Islamic Liberation Front, has been fighting a gorilla style war against the Philipino government in order to establish islamic law over the Midanao province.

This is a huge mistake, anytime you cave in to islamic demands this will on embolden them and they will demand more. How many times have we given land to islamists only to see continued fighting? Ghandi separates India, creates Pakistan, everyone knows how well that worked out. US hands Kosovo to muslims so they'd stop fighting Israel, that went well. Israel moves out of Gaza and I'm pretty sure people know how well that's working out for the Israelis. Give them your hand and they'll take your arm.Business World

CLARK FIELD, PAMPANGA — President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has issued an executive order that would fast-track full autonomy status for the Muslim Mindanao region under a peace agreement with Moro rebels.

Signed on Jan. 19, Executive Order 777 would create a committee that would craft changes to Republic Act (RA) 9054, which expanded the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) as created by the Constitution. It also relaxed wealth-sharing between the national and the regional governments without amending the Constitution.
