CIA avoids sharing intel with Pakistan

Gee, I wonder why.

From Pak Observer

Islamabad—The American intelligence agencies have evaded sharing of “actionable intelligence” on Al Qaeda and Taliban terrorists with Pakistan while U.S. defence officials and diplomats continued to claim presence of “dangerous terrorists” in Quetta, Waziristan and other tribal areas.

Senior Pakistani officials engaged in operations against terrorists are complaining that “no actionable information” was shared in recent past. The lack of confidence among allies in war on terror is believed to be a primary reason for the failure to crush the terrorists and their network.

A Pakistani official speaking on condition of anonymity said that “We believe that U.S. intelligence has lots of information on TTP (Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan) terrorists but they rarely share solid information on their locations and activities.” The officials also added that “US intelligence has also failed to trace the continued supply of arms and ammunitions being used by TTP militants against Pakistan since 2007.
Hmmmmmm....isn't it interesting that most of the Predator Drone strikes that killed big fish have come after the CIA stopped sharing info with Pakistan? Coincidence, I think not.
