KARACHI: Security forces claim to have killed eight suspected militants during fresh military operations in Orakzai Agency on Sunday.

Security forces used fighter jets to bomb militant hideouts in the Mamuzai area of Upper Orakzai. Five suspected militants were also injured during the operation.

On Saturday, forces claimed to have killed 28 suspected militants during the military operation.

More than 1,000 militants have been killed during the military operation in Upper Orakzai since the past one month.
