Thirty militants killed in Orakzai fighting

There has been a little lull in the action in Pakistan , I,m thinking Pakistan is tiring of fighting the Taliban (Or they need even more Money).

But killing thirty Taliban Is ok with me !

KALAYA: Thirty militants and three security personnel were killed in a clash in Dabori area of Orakzai on Wednesday.

The clash is reported to have taken place after a group of militants tried to encircle troops near Zokhtan.

Three soldiers—Ramazan, Ghulam Bashir and Mehrab—were killed and five others—Ghulam Sarwar, Tanveer Shah, Kalimullah, Khasadars Naeem and Qayyum—were injured.

The injured were taken to the Kohat CMH in a helicopter.

After suffering heavy causalities, the militants fled to nearby Gandi Tal area and troops took control of their stronghold in Rokhtan.

A curfew was imposed and troops launched a search operation.

AFP adds: A security official said about 50 Taliban fighters attacked a convoy to block the movement of troops in the area.

Three soldiers were killed in the Taliban attack, he said, adding that troops retaliated and killed 33 militants.
