Well it may not be a big effort by Pakistan but at least they are killing the Taliban when they get the chance.

A Pakistani official says security forces have killed more than 200 militants over the past month in a tribal area near Afghanistan where the military is waging an anti-Taliban offensive.
Javed Ullah says four of the militants were killed Monday in the Kurram tribal region.
