It was a little to personal to use predators, so some nice F-16s did the trick.
And the Taliban Pooped themselves seconds before the missiles hit their shack!
Nice job guys keep it up !
The Los Angeles Times
The retribution wasn't long in coming.
An American airstrike killed the Taliban insurgents whose attack caused a helicopter crash that killed 22 Navy SEALs and eight other U.S. service members, military officials in Kabul and Washington said Wednesday.
However, Marine Gen. John R. Allen, the U.S. commander in Afghanistan, told reporters at the Pentagon that the main Taliban leader in the area remained at large. He did not identify that insurgent commander, the hunt for whom set in motion the events that led to the crash of the CH-47 Chinook helicopter on Saturday.

Pakistan halts NATO supplies after border attack
More B.S. from Pakistan .
I vote for a even more intense Predator drone Campaign !
(Reuters) - Pakistani authorities blocked a vital supply route for NATO troops fighting in Afghanistan on Thursday, angered by a cross-border NATO airstrike that killed three Pakistani soldiers, officials said.
Trucks and fuel tankers for foreign forces in Afghanistan were stopped at Torkham border post in Khyber tribal region near the city of Peshawar, hours after the raid, the fourth reported by Pakistani authorities in recent days.
"Yes, the NATO supplies have been stopped. It has been done locally," a senior security official told Reuters on condition of anonymity.
A spokeswoman for the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force in Kabul, however, said none of its helicopters had crossed into Pakistani airspace and the incident was under investigation.

NATO Forces Kill More Than 50 Insurgents in 2 Airstrikes in Pakistan
Update, Besides official Confirmation ,Over 50 Insurgent/Taliban/Militants were Killed .
Foxnews
ISLAMABAD (AP) — NATO helicopters based in Afghanistan carried out at least two airstrikes in Pakistan that killed more than 50 militants after the insurgents attacked a small Afghan security outpost near the border, spokesmen said Monday.
NATO justified the strikes based on "the right of self-defense." Pakistan is sensitive about attacks on its territory, but U.S. officials have said they have an agreement that allows aircraft to cross a few miles into Pakistani airspace if they are in hot pursuit of a target.
The first strike took place Saturday after insurgents based in Pakistan attacked an Afghan outpost in Khost province, which is located right across the border from Pakistan's North Waziristan tribal area, said U.S. Capt. Ryan Donald, a spokesman for the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan.
"The ISAF helicopters did cross into Pakistan territory to engage the insurgents," said Donald. "ISAF maintains the right to self-defense, and that's why they crossed the Pakistan border."
The strike killed 49 militants, said U.S. Maj. Michael Johnson, another ISAF spokesman.
The second attack occurred when helicopters returned to the border area and were attacked by insurgents based in Pakistan, said Donald.
"The helicopters returned to the scene and they received direct small arms fire and, once again operating in self-defense, they engaged the insurgents," said Donald.
The strike killed at least four militants, said Johnson.

Foxnews
PARACHINAR, Pakistan (AP) — Two separate volleys of American missiles slammed into a Taliban sanctuary in Pakistan close to the Afghan border Tuesday, killing at least 24 alleged insurgents in the latest such strikes since a failed car bombing in New York, officials said.
The first strike in North Waziristan involved up to 18 missiles -- an unusually intense bombardment.
They struck cars, homes and tents across a wide area in the Doga area, where insurgents have hideouts and training facilities, killing 14 alleged militants, two intelligence officials said on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media.
Hours later, another pair of missiles hit a compound in the Gorwek area of North Waziristan killing another 10 suspected insurgents, including the brother of a reputed Taliban commander, Maulvi Kalam.
The identities of the rest of the people killed in the attacks were not immediately known.

Pakistani jets target Taliban positions, kill 19
Always Unconfirmed , But Hopefully True , Elsewhere it was 21 Killed by helicopter gunships !
A supposed 600 or so "Militants"(Taliban) Have been killed in the last month !
(Reuters) - Pakistani warplanes bombed Taliban positions in the northwest on Sunday, killing at least 19 militants, a government official said.
Government forces have stepped up offensives in the Orakzai and Khyber regions on the Afghan border to root out militants waging a campaign to topple the U.S.-backed government of President Asif Ali Zardari.
The military says several hundred Taliban fighters have been killed in the operations but there has been no independent confirmation of that. The Taliban usually dismiss the army's death toll figures.
The latest air strikes in the Okakzai region were carried out in several remote villages after intelligence showed that militants there had been planning attacks, the government official, Asghar Khan, told Reuters.

Thirteen Israeli air strikes hit Gaza Strip
I think I would beat the crap out of my neighbors if they continually assaulted my home and my people !
I Guess Hamas just doesn't get that !
BBC
Israeli planes have carried out 13 air strikes on the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, Palestinian sources have told the BBC.
Four of the strikes took place near the town of Khan Younis, where two Israeli soldiers were killed in clashes with Palestinian fighters last week.
The Israeli military has told the BBC the operation was targeting four weapons factories.
The strikes are the most serious for more than a year, says the BBC's Jon Donnison from Jerusalem.
The director of ambulance and emergency in the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Dr Muawiya Hassanein, said that three children including an infant were slightly injured by flying debris.
Witnesses and Hamas officials said the Israeli raids targeted metal workshops, farms, a milk factory and small sites belonging to the military wing of Hamas.
'Retaliation'
"Israel will not tolerate terroristic activity inside Gaza that threatens Israeli citizens," the Israeli military said in a statement released to the BBC.
Palestinian news agencies reported that Israeli aircraft dropped leaflets over parts of Gaza on Thursday warning residents of retaliation for last Friday's killings of the soldiers in Khan Younis.
They were the first Israeli soldiers to be killed in hostile fire in Gaza in over a year. The military wing of Hamas claim responsibility for those attacks.
Hamas said police stations and training facilities were among the targets of Israel's overnight raids.

Pakistani jets kill nearly 50 in tribal region
Nothing like a good Body count , Especially when it is the Bodies of the Taliban we are talking about !
Way to go Pakistan !
The only good Terrorists have been blown to bits by an Airstrike !
HANGU, Pakistan (Reuters) - Pakistani jets pounded suspected Taliban positions in a one-two punch on Thursday that killed nearly 50 people, most of them militants, in a restive tribal region in the northwest, officials said.
The two attacks targeted a school used by the Taliban as well as a madrasa or Islamic seminary in the Mamuzai area of the Orakzai Agency, an ethnic Pashtun tribal region where many militants fled to escape an army offensive further south.
"Twenty-five bodies of militants have been recovered from the school," Asghar Khan, a government official, told Reuters by telephone from Kalaya, the main town of Orakzai.
He said 13 militants were killed in the madrasa.
However, he said a nearby center of Tablighi Jamaat, a non-violent non-political group involved in Islamic preaching, was also hit in the strike. "Ten people were killed in the Tablighi center," he added.
There was no independent confirmation.
Khan said the seminary was a major hideout of the militants loyal to Maulvi Toofan, a local commander of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), the main alliance of Pakistan's homegrown militants.

Top al Qaeda Operative Is Killed in U.S. Drone Attack
Alright , one more Dead Al Qaida guy !
And a goat trainer no less !
The Wall Street Journal
WASHINGTON—A drone strike last week in Pakistan apparently killed a top al Qaeda trainer who helped supervise December's suicide bombing at a Central Intelligence Agency post in Afghanistan, U.S. officials said.
The strike on a suspected bomb-making facility in Miram Shah killed as many as 15 people, including Sadam Hussein Al Hussami, also known as Ghazwan Al-Yemeni, according to people familiar with the strike. The Obama administration does not comment on such attacks.
"He's a significant operator," said Bruce Riedel, a former CIA officer, now at the Brookings Institution. "And it's another sign that the pressure is substantial" on the top echelons of al Qaeda.
U.S. officials are touting Mr. Hussami's death as a significant blow to the terrorist network that carried out the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. At a time of escalating strikes from unmanned drones, the missile hit last week was unusual. The strike landed in or near a population center, Miram Shah, and its aftermath has been kept quiet by U.S. and Pakistani officials.
Mr. Riedel said the "martyrdom" was trumpeted on jihadist Web sites.
Well we should give Al Qaida some more Martyrs to Trumpet !

Twenty killed in US drone attack in North Waziristan
Nothing like a good Predator Drone Strike on some radical Islamists !
Dawn.com
MIRAMSHAH: A US missile strike and clashes between extremist gunmen and tribesmen killed at least 20 militants on Tuesday in northwest Pakistan near the Afghan border, officials said.
The drone attack destroyed a mountain hideout in the district of North Waziristan, killing 10 militants including Al-Qaeda-linked suspects.
North Waziristan is known as a stronghold of Taliban and Al-Qaeda-linked fighters and increasingly targeted by the covert US drone war since a suicide attack killed seven CIA employees in Afghanistan.
The missiles hit a compound used by militants near Datta Khel village, 20 kilometers west of Miranshah, the main town of North Waziristan, Pakistani security officials said.
The exact identity of the militants was unclear and it was not immediately known whether there were any high-value targets.
“At least 10 militants, mostly foreigners, were killed,” one Pakistani security official told AFP on condition of anonymity, adopting a term used widely in Pakistan to refer to Al-Qaeda-linked suspects.
“Five missiles were fired by US drones,” he added.
Three other security officials confirmed the missile strike and gave the same death toll, while a local intelligence official described the target as a mountain hideout for militants. Arabs were said to be among the dead.

Yemen says launches more air strikes on al Qaeda
And to celebrate the 5000 Post at Report on Arrakis , what better thing to here about than Al Qaida having their ass's handed to themselves , always a joy for us here and I'm sure for the Majority of you readers of ROA !
Yemen is another font line area for Al Qaida , and the Normal people of Yemen just don't want them there , so a good way to let them know this is through serious firepower in the form of Airstrikes .
I would rather see Al Qaida killed off a few here a few there , from airstrikes they just can't defend from !
Than from the little skirmishes here and there with the Military of whatever country they are terrorizing ,
though it is nice to read about , an Airstrike is just so much sweeter !
Allah Efing Ackbar bitches !
(Reuters) - Yemen carried out air strikes against what they said were al Qaeda targets in the south for a second day on Monday, and authorities in the north recovered the remains of five people whose identities were being checked.
There were no immediate reports of casualties following three strikes in Abyan province, where the government was targeting militants who may have been hiding in mountains dotted with caves, local officials and residents told Reuters.
"The air forces targeted with three raids the district of Lawdar in Abyan where there are believed to be al Qaeda elements," a local official told Reuters.
Abyan, where the state says it has been hunting al Qaeda, has seen an escalation in violence between southern separatists and government forces in recent weeks.
The government carried out a similar air strike there on Sunday, killing two top al Qaeda militants it said were planning attacks, although there was conflicting information about the death toll.
Yemen shot to the forefront of Western security concerns after the Yemen-based regional arm of al Qaeda claimed responsibility for a failed attempt to bomb a U.S.-bound plane in December.
Western allies and neighboring oil exporter Saudi Arabia fear al Qaeda is exploiting instability on multiple fronts in the impoverished country to recruit and train militants for attacks in the region and beyond.

Yemen says raid kills 2 top al Qaeda militants
Awesome , Two more Al Qaida goat herders sploded to Pieces !
It always seems that whenever there is an Airstrike that kills a large number of people , the claim goes out that they were Innocent civilians , not to say that they were not but , when compensation is handed out on just a claim of innocence and Knowing that many Muslims do not believe that Al Qaida members are bad guys to begin with you have to wonder .
(Reuters) - An air strike on an al Qaeda position in southern Yemen on Sunday killed two top militants planning attacks, a Yemeni security official said.
"The raids ... killed two leading al Qaeda elements who were planning terrorist operations against vital installations in Yemen," the official said in a statement.
Yemen has stepped up its attacks on al Qaeda after the Yemen-based regional arm of the militant group claimed responsibility for a failed attempt to bomb a U.S.-bound plane in December.
But residents and opposition groups have said dozens of civilians, including women and children, were killed in a December 17 air strike in which authorities had said more than 30 al Qaeda members were killed.
Earlier in March, the government expressed regret over the civilian deaths in that raid in south Yemen and said it would pay compensation to families of civilian victims.

Pakistan kills 30 militants in air strike
We never really know if Pakistan is serious or not about taking out the Taliban and their little bitches Al Qaida .
But then they go and take out thirty of the Rejects with a nice little airstrike .
Dead Taliban is good Taliban .
ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Pakistani jet fighters killed 30 militants in remote, forested mountains on the Afghan border on Saturday, the military said, as U.S. forces spearhead one of NATO's biggest offensives against the Taliban in Afghanistan.
Pakistani security forces launched a major offensive against the al Qaeda-backed Pakistani Taliban in their main bastion of South Waziristan in October and the military has captured most militant bases in the region.
The Saturday air raid was in Shawal, a militant sanctuary near the border of the South and North Waziristan regions, where many militants are believed to have sought refuge from the October offensive.
Al Qaeda militants are also known to operate in the area.
The security forces, as well as attacking indigenous Taliban who are trying to bring down the U.S.-backed government, have also stepped up action against Afghan Taliban on its soil, arresting at least three senior members, including their number two man, this month.
"The hideout in Shawal was targeted after we were tipped off that terrorists were hiding in the mountains," a military spokesman said, adding 30 of them had been killed.
There was no independent verification of the toll.

Pakistan Taliban deny leader Hakimullah killed
Of course they deny his death , it is their Duty to lie About everything .
I have this Vision of a Taliban Style "Weekend at Bernie's" stuck in my head though !
PESHAWAR, Pakistan (reuters) - Pakistan's Taliban denied a report on Sunday that their leader Hakimullah Mehsud had been killed in a U.S. drone aircraft strike.
"It is a total lie," a spokesman for the group told Reuters by telephone from northwest Pakistan, referring to a report on Pakistani state television.
Pakistan's military said earlier it was investigating the report that Hakimullah died from wounds sustained in a drone attack and had been buried in the Orakzai tribal region in the northwest of the country.
"We're inquiring further but so far there's no confirmation," said army spokesman Major General Athar Abbas.
Hakimullah's death would likely create disarray in Pakistan's al Qaeda-linked Taliban, analysts say, but it would not deal a major long-term blow to the group, which is fighting to topple the pro-American government.
State television did not give dates for the drone attack.
Pakistani intelligence officials said they had received unconfirmed reports that Hakimullah, the number one enemy of the Pakistani state, may have died of wounds after a drone strike on two vehicles carrying militants in North Waziristan on January 17, days after surviving a similar attack.
Hakimullah appeared in a farewell video with the suicide bomber double agent who killed seven CIA employees in Afghanistan on December 30.

NATO troops clash with Afghan allies
A friendly Fire incident ?
SALAR, Afghanistan (Reuters) - NATO troops clashed with their Afghan allies in a so-called "friendly fire" incident on Saturday, calling in air strikes that killed four Afghan soldiers and stoked anger among villagers.
The clashes took place hours after an apparently disgruntled interpreter shot dead two U.S. soldiers at a nearby base. The incidents, although not apparently linked, highlighted the fraught relationship between Western forces and their Afghan hosts.
NATO and Afghan officials tried to head off tension by announcing a joint investigation into how their troops ended up battling each other in Wardak province, southwest of Kabul.
"Four army soldiers were killed and six wounded when a foreign forces air strike hit their post," said Shahedullah Shahed, spokesman for Wardak's governor. "We don't know why it happened, but it is deeply regrettable."
He said the strike had targeted an Afghan Army outpost that had been newly established. Foreign forces and Afghan troops were both separately conducting overnight operations when they started shooting at each other, he said.
The NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said its troops had come under fire and called in air strikes, without realizing they were engaging Afghan security forces.
"Initial post-operational reports indicate the small arms fire originated from an Afghan National Army (ANA) combat outpost and the subsequent air support called in by the joint force likely killed at least four ANA soldiers," a statement said.
"We work extremely hard to coordinate and synchronize our operations," said Canadian Brigadier-General Eric Tremblay, the force's main spokesman. "This is a regrettable incident and our thoughts go out to the families of those killed and wounded."
Hours earlier, an interpreter opened fire at a base in the same province, shooting dead two U.S. soldiers before he was killed, two U.S. military officials said, under condition they not be named because details had yet to be officially released.
"Initial indications are this was a case of a disgruntled employee" rather than an insurgent attack, one of the U.S. officials said. An Afghan provincial official confirmed the account, saying the interpreter had argued with troops over pay.

Six al Qaeda militants killed in Yemen air strike
Al Qaida Dropping like flies !
SANAA (Reuters) - Six al Qaeda militants were killed in an air strike in northern Yemen Friday in a stepped-up government campaign against the Islamist group.
Yemen, which gained a reputation as a haven for al Qaeda after the September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States, came under the spotlight after crackdowns on the group in Pakistan and Afghanistan raised concern it was becoming a training and recruiting center for militants.
"Two cars carrying eight dangerous al Qaeda members were hit in an area between Saada and al-Jouf," a Yemeni security official told Reuters. "Two may have survived and escaped."
"The group included Qassem al-Remi, Ayed al-Shabwani, Ammar al-Waeli, and Saleh al-Teys," the official said. The four were wanted by the Yemeni and U.S. security services.
"It is believed that Qassem al-Remi and Ayed al-Shabwani were killed in the air strike."
Al-Shabwani was one of the most dangerous al Qaeda members who provided a hideout for other militants at his farm in Maarib, where their training took place, the official said.
